The fusion of Vegeta and Tarble.

I find it hilarious, in a very tragic way, that there are people out there busy policing fan works for “pedophilia” incest and all sort of other “problematic” themes, when the mainstream media is overflowing with it. Why don’t you go harass some Game of Thrones fans? Or IT fans (yes, there were underage children having sex in the book) Maybe you could even start sending death threats to Stephen King for clearly being a pedophile, or into child murder, because everyone knows that writing/reading about something instantly makes you an advocate for it in real life.
While you’re at it you can start advocating for bans on classics like Lolita, or protest outside of bookstores to make them stop selling books containing similar themes. You can write the faculty at your college or high school and demand that they fire a teacher/professor for putting books or movies with these themes on a reading/discussion list.
You know why you wont’t do this? Because it’s difficult and can have serious real life consequences. Verbally attacking, accusing and harassing published writers, directors or businesses can, and likely will, get you in legal trouble. The police could come to your door and want a chat with you about harhashment or disturbance of the peace. Your moral crusade can earn you a rap sheet.
No no, it’s much more fun to be morally virtuous behind a computer screen, because really, it’s not about saving or helping anyone. It’s about getting recognition for being morally “pure” and earning points for fictive activism. It’s about showmanship and feeling good about yourself.
So just stop it; stop polishing your own halo, and maybe do something that’ll actually help others.
