Walking around with Sanji looking for the many things on his supply list was always an enjoyable afternoon. You’d both grab a nice coffee, some lunch, make a real date of it, enjoying it just being you and him. You loved your crew; it was just nice to have some alone time with the man you loved.

You relished the feeling his larger hand holding yours as you walked side by side down the bustling streets of the island. Going from stand to stand, glancing over everyone’s produce and products. Sanji explaining to the correct way to tell if a melon was ripe as you nodded along.

The one thing you hated and would happen without fail, no matter where you went. He would attract the gaze and attention of others. Many would try and flirt with him even with you stood right there and it enraged you, hurt you when Sanji would just ‘playfully’ flirt back with them.

You were pissed off by the time you got back to the ship. You’d barely said a word to Sanji during the last stretch of your shopping trip. He tried to pry and needle you into replying to him, still you fixed him with a steely gaze.

“What’s wrong?” He asked as he started to set down the bags in the kitchen.

Despite not wanting to be around him right now you didn’t want to shrug your duties and leave him high and dry. Your foul mood shouldn’t interfere with your tasks. You simply refused to look at him.

“Love, please?” He prompted, putting his hands on your shoulders.

“You flirted with them, all of them, while I was right there!” You snapped, surprised how blunt you’d been about it. Just staring into his one visible blue eye.

Sanji sighed, he knew this was coming, it had been something other partners had picked up on in the past too. Taking the bag of potatoes from your hands and set them done. He took your hands in his and brought them closer to his face, kissing along the knuckles as he maintained eye contact.

“It’s a bad habit I never grew out of. I know that’s not a good excuse but it’s why, I used to be a lot worse. I’m trying my best for you my love, I promise.” He kissed your hands once more, holding them gently.

“And you don’twant anyone else?”

“You’re all I want.” Sanji smiled and pulled you against him, you sighed against his chest.

Alastor is magnificent and I guarantee you'll fall in love with Clover, the bunny who captures the heart of you deerest red demon.

@melodyonthewireless Highly underappreciated (imho), her fic "A Match made in Hell" (WIP) follows her OC Sybil down to hell, into the Hazbin Hotel and consecutively the arms of Alastor - but don't you dare underestimate the pink, harmless looking doe. Sybil's witch powers and her sassy, witty personality is quite the match to the established readio overlord. It's such a read, and the wait between chapters the sweetest agony!

@macabr3-barbi3 She delivers every. single. TIME. Her Short stories and One-Shots are like Pringles - Once you pop, you can't stop. I'm deeply in love with 'Dream a little Dream' (WIP), 'Nothing I can't Handle' (WIP) makes me run for a cold shower and did I mention the countless one-shot-candies that make you mouth water and your toes curl?

@impale-me-radio-daddy Founder of the kink #antlerplay, his series of 'The Lookalike' is steamy, outrageous, utterly magnificent and filthy down to the bones. Be prepared for some serious questioning of your own preferences, because you WILL get some epiphanies. And that's a PROMISE.

@hurthermore Listen. LISTEN. Bimbo is the mini-series that had me on a friggin CHOKEHOLD. -> Needless to say, he knows. He understands.

Sanji wants to create a safe space for you. Space where you decide what brings you comfort, and where you immediately receive it from him. He doesn’t impose anything on you, doesn’t pressure you to talk or to cry. He just is with you, body and thoughts alike.

-> If you need silence, he sits with you, no word spoken, just holding your hand or playing with your hair while cradling you to his chest. If you need to cry, he offers you his shoulder, kisses away your tears and pulls you closer. If you need his warmth, he guides you to rest your head right over his heart, to listen to its calm heartbeat.

-> Doesn’t matter what kind of coping method you chose, Sanji adjusts his rhythm to you and keeps you company. Even if you prefer being alone, he makes sure to keep a watch over you while giving you suitable space. Just in case you would need his assistance or did something unhealthy or dangerous for yourself.

-> He makes sure you don’t succumb into apathy. He nudges you to take care of personal hygiene, to eat and drink, to do your daily activities—at least a few of them. He keeps stimulating you to take action, even if it’s just moving to take a shower and back or solving a crossword.

-> If you want to talk, he listens, doesn’t interrupt you, just lets you pour out the words. If you want a dialogue, he is ready to ask questions about all happy memories you have about your parent. He doesn’t want to add his own trauma to this, but if you ask him questions about his mother, he will answer—in other circumstances he would be hesitant.

-> “Let me take care of you, Y/N. It’s okay to be broken, to cry. I’m here for you, don’t hesitate to call me.”

-> If you agree to this, he will cook you all the comfort food you remember from childhood, especially if your late parent used to cook for you.
