Sometimes I don’t feel like clicking the whole page. At such times, I really wanted to appreciate the individual stickers, prints, washi and sequins through my photos.

~ This is becoming my current favorite journal to craft and write in.🥰

This is my 'Book Records' journal --- a space where I plan my reading for the week, jot down thoughts I have while reading a book, any sidenotes on building a reading habit and keeping a memory of books picked/completed/left unfinished.📝

I've been using the Undated Weekly Schedule Notebook (A5) from Muji and it's perfect. I wanted to deco simple with my favorite girl and dot stickers or pair the freebies I (very kindly) get from stationery shops I order from. 🙋🏻‍♀️💫 ~

~ This teaching, among the many that make this heart soar, comes from my spiritual teacher, my Guru. . I hope we each turn inwards and I hope we find the inherent, never-fading, gorgeous, priceless treasure of our own self.  . Here's to experiencing we are our own home.~

~ Someone from Finland, over a Zoom call, said something that helps me change my life. . A conversation with a friend, on his terrace, can stay with me and help me embrace all that sparks joy. . A spring playlist appearing as a suggestion from YouTube turns out to be exactly what my heart needs to feel warm and hopeful. . If this isn't magic, I don't know what is. . Those inner, persistent nudges that illogically, consistently, lead to a spring of joy, each time listened to. . My body talking to me about how it feels, what it needs, how I can I provide for it. . A spontaneous text conversation at 4 pm on what scares me turns into a safe space for not just me, but for another one too. . If these aren't miracles, I don't know what are. . Remembering someone who has never left my heart despite more than a decade of not meeting each other. . If this isn't love, I don't know what is. . . ~ notes from everyday ~ . . 'Over cake and coffee'

v. (verb) ~ to talk about the big & small things with someone you love, over a slice of cake and a cup of warm coffee. ~

I have sorely missed writing over the past couple of months. God only knows when it became a part of my being, but writing this is already making me smile.

I was telling my friend today morning that one of my favorite things to do was head to a quiet coffee shop, with a friend or a lover, settle ourselves with our respective cups of coffee and a slice of cake to share (always a good idea), talk for hours as we watch time slowly slip by, and people come and go. Those are my most, most favorite kind of dates.

So I was wondering, why not pair little notes of love, light and all the good feelings with pictures of coffee mugs and cake? :) The thought made me so happy that I had to write it down. :)
