It Is So Funny To Me That My Headcanons About How Well The DQXI Characters Could Drive Is The One That’s

ok i just got this thought out of nowhere but blog divers (people who scroll through a blog and reblog things that were posted YEARS AGO) are actually a super important part of the tumblr ecosystem

With people going inactive and deactivating, a lot of classic tumblr posts and also missed gems get lost because those connections get broken. Even on my own blog I forget about posts I made until I see someone in my activity reblog one of them- which then inspires me to reblog it myself because it was a good post and I want my new followers to see

do not feel bad about diving through someone's blog and reblogging shit from years ago, it keeps dashboards alive

(and if anyone has a problem with that, they can just block you or they can delete the root post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, two things that have absolutely no effect on the grand scheme of our lives)

Dqxi had the right idea. If you're gonna make a character in your story have their natural hair color being some kind of bright unnatural color, it should be the huge fighter man that's inarguably masc. Dqxi could've given the long, pretty lavender hair to any of the other main party members. They could've given it to Serena. Or Jade. But they didn't. They gave it to Hendrik. Absolutely unparalleled move.

A blonde man with bangs that cover half his face to the point that one eye is obscured. He often wears white and gold, but at one point had a dramatic reveal for his second outfit. He is well-read, and has traveled all over the world, with some of his world travels being specifically to stalk the player. His affinity for monsters combined with someone hurting him in the past (possibly creating an inferiority complex) led him to side with a fearsome monster capable of destroying the world, all so he can pursue power. And he also attempted to kill the chosen one/the player in the process.

Am I talking about Jasper from Dragon Quest XI, or Volo from Pokémon Legends: Arceus?

I made a small post on Twitter about it but I want to make a longer post here because man? I love long posts. I love walls of text. I love scrolling through my dash, seeing “read more,” and then getting a post that takes up my entire screen and more. I love engaging with someone else’s opinions or fiction or 20 image attachments. Like idk man I really am starstruck or nostalgiapilled or whatever you wanna call it, but I can’t think of any other social media platform that’s so multimedia friendly. Erik most likely does not have a last name since he was an orphan taken in by Vikings. I don’t think they would’ve given him one. Didn’t serve any purpose.

I actually think that Veronica and Serena’s last name is Fidelī, or “of Fidelus” (the second declension genitive, if we conjugate Fidelus as if it were a Latin word)

Sylvando’s real name, canonically (imo) is Norberto Rodrigo

We know Jade’s last name is Carnelian.

So like, Rab is weird. Bc consider. “King Carnelian.” “Lord Robert.” Robert might be his last name. Therefore, the Luminary’s surname might also be Robert. Though, they also might have a completely different surname having been adopted and raised by Chalky.

Hendrik, I genuinely have no clue. You could slap any last name on that man and it would probably work.

I think Jasper’s last name is Chalcedony or Agate or smth else rock themed
