Hi!

I'm Asher (he/they) and this is my shifting (and sometimes lucid dreaming) blog! I like Calvin and Hobbes if you couldn't tell

I'm an adult. All ages can interact, but I probably won't knowingly interact with you if you're under 16 or so

I've shifted a couple times but never for more than a couple seconds. I've been on my "shifting journey" or whatever (why is everything a "journey") since late 2020 though

I was active in shiftblr very briefly in 2021 but I deleted. I took a break from shifting all together after that, but I've gotten more interested in it lately. I've decided to come back; let's see how that goes

I've only got one DR at the moment and that's Mob Psycho 100. Please interact if you also shift there; the only person I know who shifts there is me it is so dark out here

I don't really like making shifting a spiritual thing. I will reblog spiritual posts about shifting if I think the advice is still helpful even when viewed through a non-spiritual lens (loa/sats mostly) but for the most part I avoid it. I especially avoid posts about the god state for my own personal comfort

I will probably not post nsft content but if I do it will be tagged [minors dni]

No terfs (should be a given considering pronouns in bio but you never know with these people), race changers, or harry potter fans. I block very liberally besides that but those are the things I block for most often

There doesn't have to be any pressure on shifting, you don’t have to do it at a specific moment. My routine takes either a moment, a day, or a week. I do specific things in preparation to shift, it isn’t a method, more so a ritual, something to help me align myself with where I want to be.   

I. Bask in who you want to be, spend mornings doing this practice, do it before a nap, before you go to bed, while you eat, etc. Settle in your mind, take this time to be in your desired selfs mind. Think about slow moments, your morning routine, the view outside your window, basking in the sun, anything of the sort; let yourself live in moments from your dr. I've noticed I shift more when I have practiced this throughout the day. 

II. Tell yourself that you are there, that you are indeed experiencing these things. Affirm how many times you feel, you are where you are. Don’t put any pressure on yourself to believe anything, just affirm. Sweep away intrusive thoughts, let them pass and focus on who and where you are. 

III. Each reality has its own soul, familiarize yourself with how your chosen reality feels. Whenever you want to go there invoke this feeling, remember the slow moments, relax and live in your dr. 

IV. I lie in bed and when I'm getting sleepy I visualize myself where I want to be and I’m there, I focus on what I am doing at that moment in that reality. 

V. After I come back I take a couple days to step away from shifting, I don’t think about going anywhere else. I try to live in this reality and when I feel I want to leave again, I begin at step one.

Focus on your internal experience. That is what matters. That is what shifts. Think as your DR self and no one else. If you enter the mental state of your DR self you will enter the physical state of your DRself.

It's ok if you don't feel it yet, it's ok if you hear a sound from your CR, it's ok if you can feel your old bedroom still. It's OK.

Shifting is not a physical process. Your physical body is not what's shifting between realities your awareness is. Your sight, hearing, taste, feeling, etc, are all a part of your physical body.

What the nerves in your body are experiencing doesn't matter because you are not the nerves, you are not the body, you are the awareness. Your body isn't trying to shift, your mind is.

You are trying to become aware of another reality and therefore what you are experiencing in this one is irrelevant. It doesn't matter what this body experiences it matters what your awareness is experiencing.

Shifting is internal focus on shifting internally.

If you still don't get it think of it this way:

If you are sitting down and thinking to yourself about everything see, hear, feel, smell, or taste from your CR, then you are LITERALLY applying the 5 senses method to your CR.

If your method is mainly affirming, so repeating to yourself that you're there, WHAT do you think is happening when you keep telling yourself you're not there? Everything you say is an affirmation. It's not that methods aren't working it's that you are literally applying them in reverse.

It doesn't matter what your senses are telling you because you will shift before they do. It doesn't mean anything unless you tell yourself that it does.

If your senses do not match your mental state stay in the mental state until they do. Do not compromise with shit you don't want.

STAY in the mind of your DRself. That's your only job. Continue to think as if you're there. Continue to think about your life in your DR, continue to occupy the mind of your DRself.

This is what so many people get stuck on. I don't expect you to magically stop experiencing it, it is ok that you felt it. All you have to do is continue to think as if you are in your DR anyway.

Your subconscious will believe what you tell it over what your body is experiencing. Your only goal is to keep telling it that you're in your DR.

Yes you might have heard a loud noise and yes you know it's not from your DR. That doesn't matter. The goal is not to magically un-hear it but to avoid returning to the mental state of your CR self.

It is ok if you can't make yourself believe you're there, you just have to think to yourself as if you are. Think as DR you and no one else.

Essentially, you shift mentally before you feel it physically. Before you experience your desired reality externally you experience it internally.

i’m really scared that i won’t ever shift, i’ve been trying for almost five years and i don’t know what else to do (i’ve reprogrammed my mind, tried almost every method, taken breaks, etc.) i know it’s real and i’m determined to shift. Any advice or motivation?

You’re going to shift. You’ve already shifted by sending me this message you have shifted. I think some people need to acknowledge that every choice you make leads you to another reality. What if you didn’t send me this message, stepped into the street, and got hit by a bus and paralyzed. That would be a different reality then where you sent this to me safe at home. You have an unknown allergy to apples, you eat apples, and then you die. That action would send you to a different reality than it would have been if you ate a pear or if someone had medication. You get it? You don’t need any method, reprogramming breaks, or anything else. Decide you have it, dwell in it, and accept it. You don’t have to believe it at first just go on about your day with the knowledge in the back of your mind that you are where you want to be.

maturing is realizing that doubts really don’t matter fr. you can doubt as much you want and still manifest bcs: 1. it’s done the moment you decide it and 2. doubts don’t have power unless you let them.

persist, persist, persist. saturate your mind until there’s no room for doubt.

you’ve already shifted. there’s nothing else to do because you’re already in your dr. right now, you’re living in your desired reality. there’s no need for a process because it’s already done. you’ve shifted, it’s that simple! you are already there!

I asked myself a bunch of questions when it came to shifting.

Do i believe i can shift?

Is shifting simple for me? etc.

My answers to these questions were no or just general uncertainty.

Once I discovered these limiting beliefs, I said the opposite of these but in a good way.

These two were:

“I’m a master shifter”

“Shifting is simple”

At this point in my life, I had got back into shifting which was like a month ago.

I robotically affirmed for 2 weeks. I didn’t try to shift during this period and purely focused on saturating my mind with these affirmations.

Now, I barely have doubts. If they come up for some reason I just robotically affirm.

So what to take away from this is:

1. Identify beliefs through asking yourself questions

2. Robotically affirm the opposite of beliefs.

you DON'T need to be in a good/bad/any mood to shift. it doesn't matter, you can use your emotions to shift but it's not needed.

you DON'T have to robotic affirm to shift.

you DON'T have to meditate to shift. (don't get me wrong, these things might help you and might not. it's all up to you. you don't need any of that, but it can help. it's all based on your mindset.) the things you CAN do! you CAN just fall asleep with the intention to shift. it's a 50/50, if you truly believe it will work then it will!

you CAN have doubts. it's okay, it's a normal human thing to have doubts and they won't stop you.

you CAN shift with blockages. they don't matter, just accept them and move on. you can try to remove them but you can shift with them anyway. don't let them hold you back.

Remember, you are not shifting to another world. You are shifting to another you. Connect with your DR self as much as you can. That is all you need to do - be your DR self, and you will be.
