The spider that bites Peter doesn't die. Instead, it stays with him, on his shoulder at all times. The spider can speak to Peter. But the spider is more of a devil on Peter's shoulder than anything else. The spider is violent and encourages Peter to kill criminals and torture people to get information. The spider manipulates Peter's emotions when Peter doesn't follow his desires. This leaves Peter constantly struggling between his ingrained morals (thanks, uncle ben, and aunt may!) and his loyalty to the spider who gave him the power to help others.

Almost a symbiote kind of situation but with less mind/body control and more gaslighting. Haha.

I feel like this has the potential to go all kinds of ways. Especially if Tony, MJ, Ned, or even Hydra somehow gets involved.

Am I the only one who thought that Iron Man suit and Iron Spider suit look like dad-and-kid matching clothes?

are there any fics with iron dad where tony survives but far from home still happens (maybe tony is recovering still so he doesn’t realize anything is happening/doesn’t realize it’s that bad til peter’s identity is revealed??) and then irondad and spiderson navigating peter’s identity being out at school. like the scenes from nwh where flash tries to say they’re friends and the gym scene where he climbs the wall, etc. idk i just need peter having a hard time with people at school either treating him like he’s dirt or trying to ride his coat tails and tony helping him bc he’s been there
