god i love adaptations and interpretations of selina whose boy-ish. whose acrobatic. whose fun loving, here for mischief and a good time. whose silly. whose protective. whose independent. whose unwilling to be controlled. whose an old cat lady thats childish. whose spiderman-esque. just having a good time being a cat burgular, snatching cool shiny things and jumping roof tops in gotham listening to house music. selina whose a sex positive weird chick who looks incredibly hot doing it. not just for everyone else, but for herself. she just steals the show.

What's a headcanon you have for this character?

this is less a headcanon and more of a personal preference regarding her character, but although I've appreciated wildly different versions of her, I definitely like it better when she's acting more as a self-serving solo thief than a community ~wrangler. she always struck me as a loner, someone with a misanthropic worldview and a nihilistic streak after the world has tried its best to snuffle any kindness within her. that's still there, and when she bonds with people (always as individuals, and often one at a time) it's very intense and she'd go to the end of the world for them. until the commitment phobia hits and she needs to put miles between them immediately lol.
