so jean likes grabbing people's chins to get them to listen right? so you can't convince me he and kevin didn't argue all the time and jean didn't grab his chin and make him look at him and they didn't stand there chests heaving with suppressed rage, all up in each others spaces, kevin's eyes flicking down to jean's mouth, then pushing him off bc he wants to kiss him so bad and it makes him look stooopid
andrew being in the foster system for 13 years before juvie, his home with nicky being his 13th, bee being andrew’s 13th therpaist, the ravens scoring 13 goals in their first match against the foxes on the 13th of october, there are 13 ravens drills, neil’s interrogation with the fbi lasting 13 hours, andrew and neil’s numbers adding to 13
andrew: do you believe in luck?
neil: only the bad sort
13 being the ‘lucky number’ of the series despite it being a superstitious sign of bad luck. mirroring the subversion of expectations within the series that starts with andrew and neil beginning to understand each other after a shaky start, and ending with the foxes beating the ravens.
never getting over the fact that clarke thinks jasper died hating her, and he probably did.

An Ancient Egypt AU nobody asked for
and here some additional things I did faster but ended up liking more
andrew has only ever hurt aaron once.
it was when they were both still in high school, the first year andrew was on his medication. he took a dose and fell asleep during a movie, out cold. aaron and nicky both let him sleep, and then nicky went to go start dinner while aaron woke andrew. he woke him by touching his shoulder, and andrew had him up and pinned against the wall before he fully registered it was aaron. hand around his brother's throat, nicky comes back in and freaks out (one of the first times this has happened, more than just a hit). andrew releases aaron and nicky asks him what the hell that was. andrew doesn't say anything before aaron interrupts him– nicky, it was my fault, he was asleep, i shouldn't've touched him, he didn't mean to do anything, it didn't even hurt, i promise. and andrew stops. stares at his brother because he has heard him say those exact words before, in a different house, bruised by a different hand– andrew, seriously, it's not a big deal, it didn't even hurt. it was my fault anyway, and she's drunk, she didn't mean it.
andrew doesn't say anything, but he hears it. he remembers. he never touches aaron again.
Whenever I think of Camp Jupiter.. I just get so.. mad. Knowing that even after 11 years of Jason's sheer service, even after the fact that he dedicated his whole life to Rome at the age of 2, a ripe CHILD, a BABY, nobody even cared to look for him even 6 months after his disappearance..??
Nobody went "I miss Jason!" Like everyone did in Camp half blood for Percy, even the hunters of Artemis went out of their way to look for him. Jason's "friends" Dakota or Gwendolyn never spared a glance at his direction, his friendship with Reyna was fractured because of communication issues, etc.
Camp Jupiter was, realistically NOTHING without Jason (and Reyna duh) yet they have the audacity to neglect him.
And then they cheaply "made up" for it by giving him some grand state funeral. What's the point? His body was wrapped in an expensive silk, but his soul left that world feeling useless and unwanted. An expensive fancy funeral isnt going to change that.
His funeral was dark and empty, because not a single one of his Greek friends could make it.
Jason Grace was doomed to be chained to the clutches of the soulless camp of Rome till the very end. Like Michael Varus said "born a roman, die a roman"
Camp Jupiter was more or less a dystopian society covered up with beautiful architecture. Like shiny fake gold that wears off its glow.
thinking about the time I named my cat jean moreau in minecraft and then my friend accidentally hung him.
this lyric but its edgar allan, usc, penn state, and then the foxes
