Ppl keep calling arthur doomed by the narrative and idk that kind of feels like the opposite of what happens

They’re cosmically ensured victory. One of the running themes of the show is that dawn always comes and you can always move forward, even if its at a cost. They will drag themselves to survival, to victory, no matter how bloody, no matter how grim. The powers that be are too interested in them to see their story end. They make their own path yes, but they don’t have a choice but to make it - because if they fail, a literal god will be more than happy to make a deal to patch them up just enough to keep them moving.

John is kind of being doomed with the newer motif of ‘nothing gold can stay’ but that is a VERY recent addition

Being into podcasts and having s*** voice recognition means

- not being able to differentiate between Jon and Elias who are played by two different people

- Not being able to differentiate between Sasha and not Sasha who are played by two different people

- Not being able to differentiate between Alice and Norris who are played by two different people

- And being able to distinguish Arther, John, Kellen, Eddie, Dr Jeffrey, Kayne, The trader, Faust, Wallace, The Butcher, Oscar, and MARIE??? from eachother DESPITE ALL OF THEM BEING PLAYED BY THE SAME PERSON

Can we just talk about the fact that in the first episode John sounds like a calm, some-what manipulative voice, but as the series goes on he sounds like he’s smoked 5 cigars in a row and is running on only adrenaline, black coffee, and Arthur’s stupidity
