These are the books I’ve ordered few weeks ago, I’m already excited! I also joined an online book club and our first read of the month is a classic by Ovid, the myth of Icarus and Daedalus from the metamorphoses (book viii). I knew this poem already because I’m a Greek-Roman mythology enthusiastic but I’ve never read it before now and I admit it was such a good reading! I’m gonna buy the physical book soon because I can’t wait to read more of Ovid’s poems.
Last week Heroku announced that they’re discontinuing their free tier and add one. This lead many developers to find alternatives, as heroku’s free plan allowed developers to host a variety of small and demo projects.
The 4 hosting providers listed here are some of the alternatives available for Heroku. The free plans can generally allow developers to host demos and small projects.
Do you use Heroku? And have you migrated to another hosting after this announcement?
a lot of you have asked how I actually use notion in my day to day life, so I’ve broken down my task manager for all of you! hope this helps :) happy notion-ing! 💖

Set Up a Study Space Your bed should not be your study space! Find a place with:
Little distractions ie no tv, no loud noises, etc.
Everything you need: all your supplies and stationery
The right temperature, too cold & you’ll lose focus, too hot & you’ll feel sleepy
Snacks, so you won’t have to keep going away from your desk
Water: stay hydrated !!
Exercise Before studying. It will boost your energy levels and help keep you focused. You don’t have to do a full workout or anything, try going for a quick walk!!
Know your Goal And how you’re going to achieve it! If you know your goal it will be so much easier to stay on task. Perhaps have a reminder of what you aspire to do or the grades you want on the wall in front of you so it’s what you see when you look up!
Try Some Background Noise It will help block out other noises and help you stay focused!
