NO THE FLOORS ARE COMFY BC I CAN LAY DOWN

Hello hello! Been a while since I've posted my art on tumblr, (though I HAVE still been lurking the whole time) so I figure I'll start by posting some of the sonic covers I like the most from the main ongoing comic series! I've been pushing my character proportions to feel more like the rubbery sa1 proportions for the past year and a half, so lately I've been more satisfied with how I'm drawing everyone.

It makes me happy when they listen

While I’d want this concept to mostly be a lighthearted comedy, since that’s more my forte, the north star (heh) of this premise would be the loss of passion for something you once loved, feeling the pressure/expectations of sticking with something that you’re “a prodigy” at and the subsequent burnout. How hard do you fight for an old passion or at what point do you just let it go? Is it even okay to give up when so many people are counting on you? 

Sounds bleak but I promise I’m an optimist and that will always reflect in my work :)

Hc that richer, higher class Seawings live in the islands closer to the center of the spiral while the lower classes live on the outer islands that are more prone to attacks. Living on land is a privilege and the poorest of the tribe living in underwater villages or caves
