my main thing is knowing that this won’t come to you easily. So writing about it, even with a character, can help people see that they aren’t alone. People don’t usually like to talk about this topic because it’s seen as “awkward” and “uncomfortable” to talk about normally, which I think is so wrong. You shouldn’t be ashamed to talk about your body! And while writing it as a fanfic may be unconventional, it’s still gets it out to people that read them that they aren’t broken. They are unique and their bodies are gorgeous, they just need to take some time and figure it out. :)
