I kinda wanna hear your thoughts on the extreme overlabeling of the RQ community

(Prefacing this by clarifying that by over-labeling I don’t mean having a lot of labels, i mean having a label for every single little thing)

Just gonna put it bluntly: it’s not healthy. Wanting, for example, blue eyes or to be an electrician is a normal thing. It’s normal for people to want things. You aren’t “transeyecolor” or “transjob”, you’re just a person who wants that thing. A child wanting a toy from a store isn’t “transitem”, they’re a child who wants a toy.

Labeling every single thing you do with a flag and considering it “radqueer” is just not healthy. I get it, most people that do this are kids, and kids are still finding their identity and who they are as a person. But trust me, putting a flag to everything you do and everything you want is not a good thing! Making yourself think that everything you do and want and think is a product of being “radqueer” will only fuck with your brain and severely fuck up your worldview.

Want is what drives us as people. People have wanted things since the beginning of time. When someone is sick, they want to get better. They don’t need a flag for “transitioning to get better”. You don’t need fancy flags and symbols for everything you want or feel, you just need to be you.

Hello! Over time I’ve learned what radqueer means, but what exactly does radinclus mean? I used to think they were the same thing but that doesn’t seem to be the case so I want to know the definitions and how they differ ^^ /nm /nf

Radinclus is about supporting all lgbtq+/mogai identities that are harmless and in good-faith (like xenogenders, neopronouns, mspec lesbians/gays, etc). Radqueers have tried to steal the definition and apply it to things that are very harmful/not good faith (like transracial, transautistic, transnazi, etc), where the logic of "accept all good-faith identities" doesn't work because the identities have been proven to be harmful and most aren't good-faith.

Radinclus is about harmless lgbtq+ identities, while radqueer is about harmful non-lgbtq+ identities (most of which originated on 4chan or from other troll/bad faith uses), if that makes sense

It wasn't only fucked up because some people were minors, it's fucked up because you're telling people to end their lives over disagreement.

You can't really claim that certain groups of queers are the ones causing harm when you literally go around stalking and threatening others for holding beliefs you don't like.
