Was watching rules of acquisition today (the episode with Pel) and when Julian Bashir showed up at the very end of the episode I was actually stunned by his beauty because I had seen so many ferengi for 45 minutes. I forgot he was kind of gorgeous. Ferengi fuckers do not come for me. I am on your side

AAAAA I just sketched her as Gideon last night! I'm still learning, so it's a bit wonky but I guess this is my sign to release it.

A Procreate sketch of Gideon in the same pose as the original pic: arms up, hefting a broadsword behind her back.

lowkey keeping an eye on the camilla hect tag in case anyone gets inspired to draw her using Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat as a reference

Chest-up photo of Vinesh Phogat, a muscular woman with light brown skin and dark hair in a chin-length bob with bangs, wearing a red wrestling unitard, hands behind her head.

I am just saying

i've never seen this episode but holy fucking moly

Happy Friday, 30th August 2024! Does anyone have any idea why this episode contains some of the craziest sexual tension I have ever seen onscreen? With Sisko and a man named BIDDLE?

brad dourif fanarts by humanpincushion

When I was first scrounging around for Bradthirst material, I came across these pieces by @anonmarleighdourif (humanpincushion on DeviantArt). They have an incredible talent for capturing his likeness, especially the eyes.

As Luther Lee Boggs, with oily black chains binding him in his red prison jumpsuit, his hands skeletal and black with oil or slime.
A skeletal Martin Klamski, in a tattered greatcoat, holding a cigarette with smoke wafting around. The look (as with most of these) is red and black on a tan base, with Victorian vampire vibes.
Brad's face with a beatific expression, atop a skeletonized, disintegrating torso
Brad in Spontaneous Combustion, with a half-melted face and expression of resigned pain and confusion.
As Raymond in Blue Velvet, holding a knife to Jeffrey's (Kyle's) throat. Both have fairly neutral expressions, Raymond with a faint tinge of menace, while Jeffrey accepts his fate.
Charles Lee Ray, mostly intact in his suit and coat, but with entrails spilling out, which he grasps along with a giant red jeweled pendant.
Skeletonized again, as Billy Bibbit looking dolefully off to the side while hugging himself, pulling a piece of flesh from his own neck.
As Robert McEvoy from The Gardener's Son, wide-eyed and wild-haired, clutching the noose around his neck, whose rope winds around his torso, binding his arms.
As Tucker Cleveland from Graveyard Shift, clutching at his own face and neck, leaving bloody finger marks. A live rat is on his shoulder, and a skeletal one climbs his hand. Style is more modern, sketchy, and abstract, on white instead of tan.

So lush, these are a huge inspiration for me. I just want to stare at them all day long.

"#brad has so many side characters but even his lead roles are far too underappreciated" <- you're so right for this OP, Tucker Cleveland deserved so much more attention. And screen time. And a prequel!

But hey, we are raising awareness so maybe he will get further in the next poll...

Also lol I just made another one of these too 🤣 reblogging them together so I don't overload the dash.

the Drake (or Geordi LaForge) yes/no meme but with Brad Dourif's exterminator in Graveyard Shift. Top text: "Practice drawing a variety of people" Bottom: "Same blorbo again and again and..." (continues until it overflows the frame)

oh my goodness. oh my word. I love this so much

It's one of my favorite images ever, a promo for Horseplayer featured in this set of scans by @exdeputysonso

But expanded, and cleaner... and changed from that (beautiful) brooding, haunted, melancholy look to this (incredible) defiant, hunted side-eye! And a tear! (And a chibi Gediman for flavor!)

Oof, the colors... And the hair, and the way it curls around his ear...

OP has really kicked it up another few notches. Wowee. 🥵

A close-up of the left side of Brad's face, cropped from a larger page, with a pink rectangular border. Behind him is someone's chest in a black lacy bra, ooh là là!

rat king

He stands facing left, holding aloft a very dead rat, with a blocky flashlight in his other hand. He's clad in boots, undies, black fingerless gloves, and some straps from his coverall (ooo yeah). The background is deep reds and shadows.

Back on my bullshit 🐀

Another practice piece with a Brad Dourif character (Graveyard Shift exterminator Tucker Cleveland) by way of classical art (Perseus with the Head of Medusa, yeah I know, but it's still kind of a hot statue).

I love his look so much in this movie, and especially this saucy little pirouette he does in Warwick's office.

The leaning pose brings out an androgyny in the character that I find maddeningly attractive. The hair, the loose collar, the play of light on the dangly earring — all highlight the slender lines of his neck, and the pretty divot at the bottom, picked out by the backlighting. The character's chewing tobacco habit shapes his mouth in a distinctive way that, with those downcast eyelashes, make me wish I were Warwick sitting on that desk. (At least, until the spitting...)

Rat King

Sweet Jesus, get the spray bottle.

Previously in this series: X-Files x Saint Sebastian and Spontaneous Combustion x Hot Satan! I've made some updates, so maybe they'll all return together soon.

Oh my god. Oh my god this nearly made me cry ♡♡♡ Harpo is one of my faves of all time, and knowing that he was like this makes me adore him even more.

This zine has been sitting partially finished for like 3 years and i figured, you know, done is better than perfect.

The title comes from Susan Fleming: "Oscar Levant was surly, moody, and despairing. He clung to Harpo like a life raft."

i just think they're neat.
