me holding a gun to a mushroom: tell me the name of god you fungal piece of shit
mushroom: can you feel your heart burning? can you feel the struggle within? the fear within me is beyond anything your soul can make. you cannot kill me in a way that matters
me cocking the gun, tears streaming down my face: I’M NOT FUCKING SCARED OF YOU
It was Christmas Eve!
While I personally have not had Covid (thank goodness), and thus don’t have Long Covid, I have two family members who have Long COVID. My father for many months had a worsened sense of smell and taste. It’s improved over the past year and a half of him recovering, and he’s close to fully recovered now, which is great.
My aunt has recovered greatly from her Long Covid. She still has it, but it’s much better. She got a lot of breathing problems because of Covid and was hospitalized for a months or so, and had to stay with my family for some time on oxygen to recover. She actually went home only 2 days ago, (she wanted to be home before the New Year) after spending almost half a year with us. She still isn’t completely recovered, I don’t think she ever will be at her age, but she’s still one of the lucky people who have mostly recovered.
I hope everyone else suffering from Long Covid gets relief soon.
More about long COVID by a young person with long COVID. Inspired by the stories of hundreds of COVID long-haulers.
A sequel to this comic on my long COVID symptoms.

This is honestly very reassuring. I’ve always been taught to try and stop using filler words by my parents. They’ve always told me that “people will stop listening to what you have to say, and just start counting all the fillers”, and it makes me self-conscious when I speak. I also ramble whenever I get over emotional, which also gets louder and faster the more emotional I am. It’s also something I feel like I need to fix (mainly so other people don’t overhear me, and people can actually understand what I’m saying). It’s almost gone into me trying to dampen my emotions, so, this is, just, really nice to read. Thank you.
to put your mind at ease: people who ramble when they get nervous are in fact cute and lovely and charming, I would not change you
I’ve been waiting all year to post this.
Look how many people hate him. I’m pretty damn happy about that 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Random creature here to be annoying. Fandoms/interests change daily. Might post art, AUs/headcannons, or just random stuff in general.
