De La Soul show...

Hey TMBGareOKers. John F here. I just purchased the finally reissued 3 Feet High and Rising on vinyl at Amoeba in San Francisco, and it reminded me of a show, but I can’t recall exactly where or when it happened. I’m just wondering if anyone has a knowledge of the show where They Might Be Giants shared a bill with De La Soul. I believe it was on the East Coast in the late 90s since we were carrying PA. My memory is it was in a college gymnasium probably on the East Coast. One reason the gig was especially memorable for me is because I actually ran the board for their set as our sound guy needed to have a meal (otherwise he wouldn’t of had any proper meal break for a 12 hr.+ day)

I peeked at TMBW.net but my search didn’t find it (Maybe I did something wrong—it always seems to have the info I’m looking for but in this case nada)

I keep getting this same series of ads specifically next to TMBG posts. Really disappointed when I unmuted one and the audio wasn't Fingertips #19.

I picked up Plok either used or on sale back when it was still new-ish. The game was fun and clever, but I'm pretty sure it was the music that kept me coming back. Still one of my favorite video game soundtracks!
