Placing a pawn defensively in the way, EOS doesn’t move a single centimetre, millimetre, nothing, as John places a hand on her unit. But he can see the camera zoom out, as if his closeness makes him too blurry in EOS’s eye. She seems to notice his weariness, shakiness, the underlying panic and fear he’ll fall over and smash through the reinforced glass like a cannonball.

And then a bagel smacks him in the ear, telling him that’s probably not what she’s thinking about.

“The usual. There are other things, of course, but you might as well have that bagel I’ve gleefully given to you… Would you like some condiments with that?”

She sends it to his side of the chess field. “I can hear two shiny dollars going into the jar.” She moves her camera. “Ah! Do you think you could eat now? It has been… 7 hours, 5 minutes and 13 seconds since you last ate anything.” She trundles closer. “I would advise against a no, but I lack the equipment to stop you.” While being mildly threatening, she discreetly moves her bishop. She weaves between the emotions she conveys like a bullet train; always trying to cover as many stops as she can before her turn to speak is over.

That's what finally makes John laugh, small and weary. He tips his head back, neck long, to quietly regard her camera. There's no part of him that wants to eat, but he also knows she won't stop asking until he does. It's one of the things that won Scott over on his murder-robot-friend in the first place.

"But you're beating me so thoroughly at chess." He smiles, skips his queen over the board, ready to take one of her knights, then pushes himself up to stand.

John Tracy sways worryingly on his feet, his head going horribly light as the blood rushes away from it. Through the static, he reaches a blue-clad hand up to brace himself on Eos' camera unit; her box warm and alive under his fingers, and takes a moment to breathe.

He's just so very... tired.

"What's-" John starts, the curl of his hair shadowing his eyes, "What's on the menu, Eos?"

When can I come on board? As much as I hate to compare myself to him, MAX has been, so it’s only fair I can come on too!

Do you mind always having to have Gordon with you or would you prefer to have totally your own Thunderbird like Scott?

I must admit I found this question odd because I don't always have Gordon with me. He joins me the most, but here's a selection of security footage which shows people, or machines, joining me on Two.

You'll notice that despite having his own Thunderbird Scott wants a lift a fair few times.

Sometimes nobody joins me and I have Two all to myself. I sing to her sometimes (ooc: credit to @katblu42 for that headcanon).

The truth is don't mind at all which it is, it's just appropriate to the rescue. I have the big 'bird that carries the stuff and the people, so I share 😁 I don't share her controls for a second longer than necessary though, that seat is mine and I'm in control!

Aside from assisting John with rescues, battling Havoc's hacking attempts and making Gordon nervous, do you have any hobbies?

I like to sort the files for Tracy Island, though I doubt it counts as a hobby as I exclusively do it when they’re all jumbled up by idiots who don’t know how to clean up after themselves. (T_T)

I also like to engage in the occasional board/video game, listen to music, plan total world domination so nobody can ever hurt nor control me again and my favourite, take little trips outside Thunderbird 5. Counting and naming the stars is my favourite part. Despite it being the only thing I see for days on end, the endless depths of space never grow any less beautiful. Sometimes John joins me, but I typically outlast him as I am not limited by an air supply. (-_-) I wish Brains could elongate the air supply for their suits…

Ah, I hope followers do not mind me following them back, I just like keeping track of potential victims my new Hellsite friends.

Which Thunderbird is your favourite? (Besides Thunderbird 5, of course)

Besides Thunderbird 5? You’re so cruel. If I had to pick (which I’d rather not), it’d be Thunderbird Shadow. The engineering is something rather different from the others, in a good way, like the motorbike integration and landing gear. It’s almost like it’s showing off how much better it is compared to the other Thunderbird… I wonder if I can override its autopilot and fly it for myself… oh, ahem.

I prefer the beginning tune myself, mainly because it’s all I hear on Thunderbird 5 when rescues aren’t abound. “Stingray” is figuratively burnt into my hardware at this point.

It sounds likes lots of fun, but I am certain I would absolutely demolish all of you. Not that I wouldn’t mind winning. I know Scott’s going to not let me play any Mario Party because he thinks I can modify the game in my favour… but I won’t tell you if I really can.

You're very welcome to review the island's security footage for the day, but it might make you even more bored than you are now. Other than that, there's not much to do I'm afraid - but I'm playing Cavern Quest at the minute so if that's your sort of thing you're very welcome to join me :)

Unfortunately, all footage seems to have been scrubbed from the International Rescue database… on purpose. I am unsure if I can restore it, but I can find the perpetrator. Just give me a few hours.

so, bro, say... if I were to... accidentally knock a pool chair into the pool, and get part of it stuck in the mechanism allowing it to open for 1...

Favourite bedsheet colour? I myself do enjoy a sleek grey bed 🩶 (it's a very telling, important question).

ehh, this is really childish but I have dark blue with stars and planets... They're John's old sheets and they help me sleep. But if I had to choose a full colour I'd probably say white or dark blue. No, not red, because it's way too bright.
