Whenever You Don’t Post For A Few Days I Just Know You’re Cooking Up Something IMMACULATE

whenever you don’t post for a few days I just know you’re cooking up something IMMACULATE

BAHAHAHAHA you're so funny for this! That is very sweet of you to say. <3

Part of it is so I can space out my posting and have consistent content for you guys. I actually have a lot written, but don't post it every day to 1) give it time to circulate and get read by people- my posts get more engagement if I leave a few days in between each one (I have no idea why, I'm so bad with algorithm know-how, so beats me), 2) because I would rather give you all consistent content spread out with a few days in between then bombard you with a week's worth with one every day and then leave you hanging BECAUSE, 3) I am actually in the middle of a multi-month trip! I don't have my computer, so everything that you have read for the past couple of months has been written on my phone, which just takes so much longer (I type on a computer SO MUCH FASTER than on my phone). I get back home in March sometime, so it will be easier to write with my laptop, but for now it's all being written on my phone in the spare moments I have on planes and buses, or at my lodging.

I do still LOVE seeing your requests, and I PROMISE to get to each and every one. It just might take some time, so thank you for being patient with me! :)

I really do appreciate all of you that read, comment, and reblog. I read every single message you send me, and this has been such an incredible creative outlet for me during a period in my life where I've been having to do some community building. I'm of the belief that if art can even positively impact a few people, it deserves to be shared. So while my following and engagement might not be large, I still care for you all deeply and am so grateful you have chosen to read my work.

As a queer person, it gives me such fulfillment to write queer stories with an emphasis on gentle love and companionship, which is something that we struggle with even in the lgbtqia+ community, and people outside of the community CERTAINLY have trouble seeing our love that way. I try to be good representation, but I also remind you to engage with other queer media as well (eg: BIPOC queer media, trans and nonbinary media, Latine queer media, aro media, aspec media, intersex media, lesbian media, disabled queer media, Muslim queer media, Jewish queer media, etc.). I try to include characters that fall into those categories when I can, because the world around us is not a vacuum and is beautifully diverse, but these communities deserve to be the center of the story! I also choose to write O'Knutzy/lumosinlove fics because I LOVE queer representation in hockey and have loved the sport since I was little, but I am a lesbian, so I do feel a sort of lacking even within the universe I choose to base my fics on. And, unfortunately, wlw/genderbent wlw fics generally are not as popular because they don't "sell"- it's a combination of misogyny/sexism and the fetishization of mlm relationships. The only genderbent cubs AU fic that I wrote had some of the worst engagement, which was a bit disappointing, because it was inspired by @fruitcoops's PWHL AU fics that I ADORED (please also go and follow the PWHL! They are AMAZING, and there are many that ARE queer, so it is great representation, something which the MNHL is still lacking in many respects, even with Pride Nights)! I had a think, and I will be writing and posting some more PWHL Cubs AUs because it makes me happy to write them. But, we should also be engaging with originally wlw content, NOT just genderbent! So please go engage with queer authors of all intersections in AND outside of fanfic (yes, this means go read books and support individual authors!). Representation is out there, and I encourage you to critically engage with it!

Anyways, I've said my piece! I hope you all have a lovely evening!

Some more Cubs headcanons because I need a BREAK from homework but still need to activate the creative side of my brain:

I know that in Write Me In, Finn is the musician, but I REALLY see Leo being a good guitar player, and in another AU the Cubs are dating in college and he's in a band that gets REALLY popular locally. He plays guitar, obvs, but sings backup vocals and lead vocals on some songs as well. I think he's influenced a lot by John Denver and Tracy Chapman (country without being conservative- I think contemporary country and the message it can often carry bothers him), and the Goo Goo Dolls. OH! And Pearl Jam. One of the songs his band frequently covers is 'Slide' by the Goo Goo Dolls, and every time he sings about getting married, running away, etc., he finds FinnLo in the audience and smiles at them.

Logan LOVES stew. Any kind of stew. He loves to sit in between his boys on the couch with fuzzy socks on and blankets covering him, watch sports, and eat a nice bowl of stew and some crusty bread.

Finn is REALLY fussy about desserts. He doesn't like things that are too sweet, but he also needs a little something-something after dinner. Leo finds a happy medium in baking him quick breads: pumpkin, zucchini, etc., because he can make them more spicy and less sweet.

Following the college AU from the first one, I imagine them going to school in the PNW region of the US. Think Washington? Or maybe mid-west, like Michigan State. Big state schools. OR, they all go to school in Boston, and Finn actually plays hockey at BU/BC, and Leo plays club tennis, and Logan swims (but he's also good at hockey, he just didn't want to play in college). FinnLo are still older- Finn is a senior and Logan is a junior when Leo is a freshman, but Finn stays to do grad school. He and Leo are both in their college's Honors Program. Logan is an RA.

Obviously, in my version of SW/Vaincre, Leo and Logan both propose. Finn feels guilty that he doesn't, but Leo and Logan remind him that, in queer relationships, people don't always have to be proposed back to. (It's obviously fine if you do, too! Every queer relationship is different and doesn't follow norms, that's kinda the point.) And, at the end of the day, gender roles DEFINITELY don't apply to their relationship, and what matters is that they all want to marry each other. However, Finn buys them each REALLY NICE silver/gold bracelets and 'proposes' to them just before their five-year wedding anniversary and asks them to renew their vows. Leo and Logan cry so hard. Every five years, then, for the rest of their lives, Finn 'proposes' to them and they renew their wedding vows that anniversary.

Finn has a really tough time after he retires with his changing body. He used to be fairly scrawny, and his primary form of exercise in retirement is running. He lifts 2-3 times a week, but it's not the same as playing professional hockey, and with all the cardio and his fast metabolism, he loses muscle mass and his body starts to look different SUPER fast. Leo and Logan have to work with him on it for a long time, and it's something he struggles with for years.

Leo forces Logan and Finn to do a nightly mobility routine with him, and he NEVER skips it. Things could be getting hot and heavy, and he BOLTS up from the bed and is like: 'We haven't done mobility yet tonight, let's go.' And FinnLo are like, 'Can't it wait til after, sunshine? WE could stretch you out. 😏'. Leo is just like, 'Nope, nuh-uh, get up.', and they roll their eyes fondly but follow him to get the yoga mats.

Logan is a biter. He bites his boys all the time. Sometimes, he does it without even realizing, and even in public. He just leans over and CHOMPS on Leo's back, or Finn's bicep. Sometimes, he'll bring their hands to his mouth and bite their fingers. They hardly feel it anymore, but they always smile and give him attention when he does it, which makes him a self-satisfied little fucker.

i needdddd more teacher finn!!!! like him talking to his students about his hockey husbands 🫠🫠

Happy V-Day to all who celebrate! Have some Fish-reflections on young love while he falls in love more and more each day. :)

Love your prompts, keep them coming! I've got almost all of them written. :)

All credits to @lumosinlove <3

“Okay,” Finn said with a sigh. He fell back into his chair and looked at his students. “Time's up. Pencils down.”

There was a light clatter as they all dropped their writing implements, a few rubbing their foreheads against the inevitable headache. Finn smiled at them and clapped his hands once.

“Well done. I'll give you an MCQ packet for the break, and don't forget your Pride and Prejudice essays that are due the week we get back, on the Friday. I want your drafts by the Monday, please, for feedback.” He stood. “This AP test doesn't know what's coming.”

There was a light chatter as they all stood up to hand in their practice FRQ exams and took the packet Finn handed them. They looked tired and worn out, but they were ready. They always were- Finn made sure of it.

“What did you think?” one of his students, Robbie, asked his classmate, Marianne.

She looked at him over her round glasses. They suited her. “We can't talk about it, you know that, Robert.”

Finn hid his smile behind a packet. She never called him by his nickname. He heard Robbie sigh and looked up to find him watching her longingly as she and her bouncy curls left the room with her friend, Claire, throwing a thank you! over their shoulders. Robbie sighed again and turned towards his backpack, catching Finn’s eye. He blushed. Finn raised his eyebrows at him.

“You okay there, Robbie?”

He nodded, but his smile was forced. “Yeah. Got a basketball tournament over break down in South Carolina. Pretty excited.”

“Well,” Finn said, standing to approach him at his desk. “You’re doing really well. You're still on track to be top of your class.”

Robbie shook his head. “I don't think so. Marianne has a higher GPA. Her entire life is academics, and the school newspaper, and the cello.” He counted each one off on his fingers. “I might get salutatorian, though.”

Finn bit the inside of his cheek in amusement. “Well, she's an honorable competitor to lose to.”

Robbie let out a wistful, airy chuckle. “Yeah. She is.” He paused and looked at Finn quizzically. “Mr. O’Hara, I have a question.”

Finn tried to hide his surprise. “Shoot.”

Robbie was chewing his lip nervously. “Did people ever,” he started. “I don't know, not take your academic achievements seriously, just because you were good at sports?”

Finn tilted his head. “What do you mean?”

Robbie huffed. “It's just- sometimes people ask me why I even bother with school, you know? When I've got a scholarship to play basketball in college and everything. Especially stuff like English. They don't understand.”

“Well,” Finn said, resting his hands on the desk. “You can always just enjoy school. That's not their business. My teammates teased me all the time, but I found a purpose in retirement outside of hockey, you know?” He glanced at the shelf of books he kept at the back of the room. He let students check them out, and they were filled with his own annotations. Some of them even had Leo’s, from all the times he'd read and reread Finn’s books from college. Finn smiled. “And even if I hadn't made it to the NHL, academics gave me something else that I would've been happy doing.”

Robbie’s eyebrows shot up. “You would've still been an English teacher?”

Finn nodded, smiling widely. “Oh, I absolutely would've. But I'm grateful I played hockey. Met my husbands.”

Robbie considered this for a moment. “And do you think that you and your husbands would've still gotten together, even if you hadn't played hockey?” At Finn’s silence, Robbie’s eyes widened. He spoke nervously. “I'm really sorry, you're not supposed to ask a teacher that.”

Finn laughed. “No, it's okay.” He thought for a moment. In his head he could imagine him and Leo running into one another in a bookstore, both reaching for the same trashy romance novels they read when they were really tired. “They definitely would have. Leo loves to read as much as I do, we would've gotten along really well. And Logan…” He paused again. He could picture Logan’s green eyes and smile so vividly. “Well, he'd be hard to get rid of in any lifetime. He's pretty stubborn. And he likes to be read to.”

Robbie chuckled, shouldering his backpack. “Well, he fights on the ice like he's stubborn, so I'm not surprised.”

Finn grinned, then blinked hard, eyes going to his watch. “Speaking off, I've got to get going soon. Gotta catch my husbands before warm-ups tonight.” He clapped Robbie on the shoulder. “Have a good break, bud.”

Robbie smiled. “You, too, Mr. O'Hara.”

Finn watched him walk out of the room. Just as he stepped through the doorway, Marianne approached him. She was rubbing her arm nervously and talking a mile a minute. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes wide, but Robbie’s smile was so big that it seemed to relax her shoulders slightly. She swung her backpack around onto one arm, reaching inside to pull out Pride and Prejudice, sticky notes sticking out of the top. Marianne pointed to something on the page and continued talking. It was obvious that she wanted Robbie to follow along, but all he could do was stare at her, a small smile on his face. When she realized this, she paused, blushing, and fidgeted with the corners of the pages nervously. Robbie said something gently and gestured towards the library, which was at the end of the hall and open until late in the afternoon. Marianne nodded and they walked off together. Finn smiled at their retreating forms.

“Mr. O'Hara?”

Finn jumped slightly. He turned to find another student, Daniel, standing by Finn’s desk nervously. Finn eased his shoulders and smiled. “Hey, man. What's up?”

Daniel blushed. “I was wondering if I could get an extension on the essay,” he said, his Austrian accent thick with nerves.

Finn tilted his head. “Daniel, I can only do that so much for you. You're taking an AP class.”

His face flushed even more. “I know, it's just- the English is harder than what I was expecting. I'm struggling to analyze it.”

Finn sighed. He crossed his arms and leaned his hip against his desk. “Tell you what. I have an idea, okay? And if it doesn't work, I'll give you an extension, but I want you to try. The exam is in three weeks.”

Daniel nodded eagerly. “Okay.”

Finn reached for a photo frame on his desk. It was of him and Logan and Leo on the Harvard campus at sunset. They'd gone for a visit to see a football game and to go to the library, where Finn had led them both to a dark corner and kissed them breathless. Finn smiled at the memory. He turned the frame for Daniel to see.

“My husband, Logan. The shorter one,” he said. “He's from Quebec, so English is his second language.” He looked up to find Daniel staring hard at the photo. “I used to read to him in college to help him understand the hard texts. He found it easier, sometimes, to hear the words and talk about them with someone.”

Daniel nodded. “That's nice.” He looked at Finn. “But what do I do?”

Finn smiled at him. “What if you got Jesse to read to you? He's doing great in AP Lang, and he's an incredible writer. He took my class last year when he was a junior.”

Daniel blushed even harder, stark against his golden hair. Finn had suspected for a long time that he and Jesse liked each other, even if they didn't know it. When Daniel had moved their sophomore year from Austria, Jesse had taken right to him, inviting him to join the tennis team and always being an ear to listen, even when Daniel struggled to find the words. Finn felt his heart ache a little for them. He wanted to give them a push in the right direction, but he more than anyone knew that these things took time. So he settled for looking at Daniel's unsure face over his glasses.

“I think you should try it, Daniel. He's a good friend, he'd be happy to help. He can read you passages, talk them out with you, read your essay back to you.”

Daniel nodded. “Yeah. Yeah, he's a good friend.” He adjusted his bag on his shoulder, taking one last look at the photo in Finn's hands. “Thank you, Mr. O'Hara. I will try it, and let you know if I still need an extension.”

Finn grinned widely. “Sounds good.” He jerked his head towards the door. “Now get outta here. I gotta go watch my husbands play some stick and puck.”

Daniel nodded with a shy smile, saying a quiet goodbye before walking out of the room in that slightly nervous way he always did. Finn laughed softly. It seemed like years ago he watched Logan carry himself the same way, guarded against a language he wasn't totally confident in. Not anymore, though. Now he could take Finn and Leo apart in two languages, whispered in their ear in the early morning or gasped in their bedroom late at night. Or both. Even watching him yell on the ice got Finn all toasty.

Finn sighed wistfully, taking another look at the picture in his hands. He turned, placing it in its rightful place on his desk alongside all the others. There were loads of pictures spread all around his desk area, even hung up on the wall behind him. Some were of him and his Lions or Harvard teammates, some with his family. Most, however, were of him and Finn and Leo, or some combination thereof, all wrapped up in one another and smiling in every frame. Finn hadn't known that delirious happiness could be so long lasting, but he was now falling more in love each and every day and living a more blissful life than he could have imagined. True happiness, he supposed, was one of those feelings that was almost unshakeable.

Finn checked his watch one more time and hissed through his teeth. He grabbed the grading he'd need to do over the weekend and his bag, rushing to lock his classroom door and jog down the stairs. He waved to the secretary, Mx. Tulane, on the way out and searched frantically for his keys. Logan would've laughed at him, and Leo would've gently scolded him for never putting them in the same place, and all Finn could think about was blue eyes and dark brown hair and the greatest love he'd ever known. He was desperate for some good luck kisses.

An hour later saw him slightly out of breath and flashing his pass to the stadium security guards, jogging to where he knew his husbands would both be. He was correct, and found them on their pre-game loop around the back halls of the stadium. Logan had used to warm up on the bikes, but ever since returning to Gryffindor he joined Leo in his and Finn's old warm-up.

I don't want soleil to be warming up alone anymore, he'd said. And I've spent too much time away from you both to do it anymore than I have to now. Plus, then you always know where to find us to kiss us before the game.

Indeed, Finn had known where to find them. They were running ahead of him, both in their spandex and some shorts. They were talking happily, and Leo said something that made Logan shove him playfully. Leo just laughed. It sounded like sunshine.

Finn couldn't contain his excitement anymore and ran forward. At the last second, Logan heard his footsteps and turned, eyes widening in delight. He slowed down, expecting Finn to stop, but Finn just kept running. He bent down and wrapped his arms securely around Logan's waist, picking him up and jogging a few steps before halting and squeezing him tightly. Logan was laughing freely, more freely than he did with anyone else, as Leo slowed down, too, with a smile on his face.

“Hey, teach,” Leo said. He looked Finn up and down. “You look hot.”

“Hi, butter baby,” Finn said. “And my Lolo.”

Logan wriggled around in protest, but Finn just held him tighter and kissed his cheek a few times. Logan was still laughing and turned his head to cup Finn's jaw, bringing him into a proper kiss. Finn sighed against his mouth contentedly, setting him down on the ground so he could hold Logan's face firmly with both hands. Logan's fingers were all in his hair and tugging at the strands. Finn felt a bit dizzy.

A warm presence made its way to their sides. “Do I not get a treat, too?”

“Mm,” Finn hummed against Logan’s mouth. “One sec.” He pressed a last firm kiss to Logan's mouth before pulling back with a smile. “Hi, Lo, baby.”

Logan's mouth was red. “Salut.”

Finn kissed his cheek before turning to Leo, grabbing his hips and pulling him flush. “And how's my sunshine?”

“Good,” Leo said. He smiled into Finn's first kiss. “Better, now that I'm with both of you.”

Finn just kissed him deeper. He clutched one arm around Leo's waist and one at the back of his neck, using this leverage to dip him suddenly. Leo gasped against his mouth, grabbing at Finn's shoulders. Finn loved to do this to the both of them, to take them by surprise and romance them, no matter how cheesy they thought him to be. He loved the feeling of their bodies and skin beneath his hands. He didn't think he'd ever tire of it.

After a long moment, Finn broke their kiss, staring down at Leo's flushed face and hair that seemed like it was floating towards the floor. Leo was smiling exasperatedly and lovingly at him. “You sure know how to sweep boys off their feet, huh, O'Hara?”

Finn kissed his forehead. “I've had lots of practice.” He helped Leo stand and opened his arm for Logan to join them. “How are we feeling, lovers?”

Logan kissed his jaw. “Ready. Right, Le?”

Leo traced a finger down Logan’s jaw and leaned down to kiss him lightly. “So ready. Colorado doesn't know what's coming for them.”

Logan leaned into the touch. Finn watched them love each other and smiled. He drew them closer to his body. “I missed you today.” He rested his head on top of Logan's. “I thought of you.”

Leo kissed his forehead. “Oh yeah?”

Finn nodded. “Robbie was nervous about being an academic and an athlete. I think he has a crush on Marianne, who's the smartest girl in school. She's not an athlete.”

“What'd you tell him?” Logan asked.

Finn closed his eyes and swayed into the warmth of their bodies. “That I have husbands who like to read or be read to, and even if I hadn't played hockey and had chosen to just go into teaching, they would've loved me regardless.” He paused, then snorted lightly. “Oh, and Jesse and Daniel are totally crushing on each other. Jesse is going to help him with the hard English.” Finn could feel Logan’s smile against his shoulder.

“Mm,” Leo said into Finn's hair. “You mean we could've had a sexy English teacher from the beginning?”

Finn squeezed his hip. “Hey, you loved when I played hockey. I was a very sexy seventeen.”

“Ouais, you were,” Logan laughed. “The sexiest seventeen.” He kissed Finn's shoulder and Leo's chest. “Allez, we need to finish our warm-up.”

“Go on,” Finn said. He kissed them both hard once more each and patted their butts firmly. “I love you, good luck, I love you, you'll be amazing, I love you. Have I mentioned that I love you?”

Leo kissed his forehead and ran away. When he was far enough down the hallway, he turned to jog backwards. “I love you!” he shouted, eyes twinkling. “C'mon, Lo, I'll race you back!”

Logan pressed a fleeting kiss to Finn's cheek. “Je t'aime,” he said, then he was off and chasing after Leo. Leo's smile was bright and toothy, Logan yelling at him in French and him responding in kind, both of them laughing hard.

Finn couldn't help the fond feeling that arose in his chest as he watched them run away. He missed them with every step they took, but no matter- they'd be back in his arms in a couple of hours, ready to go home and read a book before bed. Finn bit his lip around a grin and turned to go to the family box.

NEED to read about Finn and leo in absolute awe of Logan’s muscles and how strong he is

You are so real for this ask, I fear.

Content warning for mention of nefarious activities, but, once again, nothing explicit!

All credits to @lumosinlove <3

“One more, baby. Yes, there you go.”

Logan grunted as he pulled himself up one more time, the weights hanging heavily from the chain wrapped around his waist. Finn smacked his butt as he hopped to the ground once more.

“Atta boy, Tremz.”

Logan was breathing hard, but he smiled at Finn. “Merci.”

Despite the sweat covering both their bodies, Finn leaned in to press a kiss to his cheek. “You make pull-ups look like light work.”

Logan laughed, using his shirt to wipe his sweat off. “Where's Le?”

“Doing mobility and flexibility stuff. He already did his big lifts.”

Logan groaned. “Fucking love when he does the splits.”

“You and me both.” Finn tapped his butt once more. “I'll go find him, then we'll leave, okay?”

“D'accord. I might do another set.”

“Ways, Lolo.” Finn skipped on his heel. “Be right back!” he sing-songed.

He found Leo holding a lunge on some mats, a weight held out straight in his hands as he lifted his front leg over a block. Finn didn't really know what the movement was exactly, but he figured that it was to train his hip-flexors and ankles, which always worked over time from him dropping into the splits so often.

Not that Finn would complain about that.

Leo concentrated for a few more moments before he turned to Finn with a smile. He dropped the weight, and knelt on the mat, rocking back on his heels, relaxed. Finn's brain almost short-circuited with how easily he did that.

“Hi, sweetheart,” Leo said, reaching out a hand. “You all done?”

Finn took Leo's fingers and nodded. “Uh huh, just did some sprints on the bike. Lo's finishing some pull-ups.” He bent down to whisper in Leo's ear. “Do you have any idea how obscene you look right now?”

Leo's smile was confused. “What?”

Finn pulled back, waving his hand up and down. “You just- you just kneel like that all… all flexible and- fuck, what am I supposed to do?”

Finn could've sworn Leo stuck his butt out just a little as he leaned further back onto his thighs. “Yeah?” he asked.

“Yeah!”

“How about I do it for you naked sometime?”

Finn's brain really did then short-circuit at the image. “Huh?”

“You heard me.” Leo stood, replacing the weight and wiping his mat. His hamstring muscles were defined and straining as he bent over. When he straightened, he gave Finn a quick kiss on the mouth, a happy smirk on his face. “Let's go get Lo.”

Finn spun around to follow him, pointer finger in the air. “Oh, we are so revisiting that later.”

Leo winked at him from over his shoulder. He was just about to say something else when he stopped in his tracks. He blinked hard. “Whoa.”

‘Whoa’ was right. Because there was Logan, now bare-chested, rolling out his shoulders underneath the same pull-up bar as before. His muscles shifted beneath his skin with every movement, including when he turned to look at them. His teeth showed through when he smiled at Leo. “Salut, soleil.”

Leo just stared for a moment, then groaned and brought his hand up to his eyes. “Oh God.” He peeked through his fingers. “Oh God.”

Logan's cheeks flushed, but he looked pleased. He knew how good he looked. The whole world knew how good he looked. He caused lots of fumbling words and garnered lots of double takes whenever they went out in public, as though everyone was overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of him. Finn and Leo could relate, Finn supposed. They were just the lucky ones who actually had him, so ha ha.

They both watched as Logan turned towards the bar again, looking up as he jumped slightly to grasp onto it with his scarred knuckles. Finn went to stand by Leo.

“You watching the show?”

“Uh huh.”

“This is the best show.”

“Uh huh.”

Finn nudged at his jaw with a laugh. “You got any other vocabulary up there?”

“Nope. I'm too busy watching the show.”

Finn hummed, wrapping an arm around Leo’s waist. They watched as Logan braced with his lats, rolling his shoulders back into a stable position, and pulled himself up towards the bar. Finn swore he could break the metal with those strong hands of his.

“Shit,” Leo whispered. “Look at his back.”

Indeed, it was a sight to behold. Every muscle fiber was on acute display as Logan repeated the motion, raising and lowering himself with practiced form. From this angle, they got a view of his muscular chest and abs, too, glistening with a sheen of sweat. His sharp jaw was clenched with the effort, moving slightly every time he breathed. Finn didn't really believe in any sort of heaven, but he didn't think that was really relevant when he was obviously currently existing in one right now.

Leo and Finn watched for what felt like hours, but couldn't have been more than two minutes. Finally, after one last straining repetition, Logan let out a heavy breath and lowered himself to the floor. Immediately, he undid the chain, dropping it and the weight at his feet. He was still panting when he looked up at them. At their stunned expressions, he laughed. “What?”

Leo reached out to pull him to them, planting a firm kiss on his mouth. “Your muscles, honey, my Lord.”

Logan looked amused. “I thought you weren't a fan of sweaty kisses?”

Leo shook his head. “I can make an exception.” He kissed Logan again. “You can't just look so sexy and have me not do something about it.”

Logan hummed against his mouth then turned to Finn. “Et toi, mon rouge?”

Finn wrapped an arm firmly around his hips and pulled him flush to his body. “You already know how I feel about sweat and muscles.” He kissed Logan quickly, but deeply. “So sexy and strong.”

“We have to go home,” Leo said in a rush. He was staring at them with wide eyes and trying to cover himself with his water bottle and his long sleeved pull over he'd started the workout in. “You both just look- we have to go home.”

Logan went to put away the weights. “What about the sweaty sheets?”

“We can start in the shower,” Leo replied, a bit dazed. He was staring blatantly at where Logan was bent over. Finn couldn't blame him. “Jesus Christ, we have to go home.”

“Hm,” Finn said. He leaned in to whisper in Leo's ear. “And after we shower, do you think you could make good on your promise? Think you could kneel naked on the bed for me, baby?”

Leo sucked in a breath. “Go, go, let's go.”

Finn laughed loudly. “Lolo! Get your stuff, we gotta get out of here.”

“Allez,” Logan said. He shouldered his gym bag and led them towards the exit. “Ça va?”

And if Leo and Finn stared at the swell of his butt as he walked in front of them to their car- well, they were only human after all. And they had permission. Finn smiled, kissed each of their hot cheeks, and chirped the keys to unlock the doors.

Hi! Do you only write fanfic for SW? Would you write something in the universe of write me in? I would love to read about finn logan and leo being together after the end of wmi, seeing how their relationship with leo evolves as finnlo becomes public!

(i love all your fics, you're amazing!!!)

Of COURSE I'll write stuff in this AU! It's so cute, and I absolutely adore it. I'm happy to write in almost any AU you all want. :)

Disclaimer: this work by @lumosinlove is not actually finished yet, so what I am writing is not necessarily canon, but an imagined extension of the story we have already written for us. I highly recommend you read it if you haven't!

TW: mention of nefarious activities, but nothing explicit, as per usual. :)

All credits to @lumosinlove !!

Leo felt his phone vibrate as soon as he stepped into his building’s elevator. He rolled out his shoulders and let out an exasperated sigh, but smiled as soon as he saw the screen. Difficult little rockstar, it said, with a picture of Finn on Leo’s family boat in New Orleans, looking up at the camera as he sat on the seat, all sunburnt and happy. Leo let it ring for a moment, just to look at Finn’s gorgeous freckles a bit longer, before picking up. “Hello?”

“Hi, sunshine! Good day?” Finn sounded bright, a contrast to the rain that was pouring outside.

“All right, yeah,” Leo answered. “Long day at work, lots of editing. Went on a run this morning, so that was nice.”

Leo could hear Finn’s pout. “Without me?”

The elevator door dinged and Leo stepped out, amused. “Sweetheart, you’re busy, and you live a forty minute train ride away. I can do long runs on the weekends with you, but not on a Tuesday at five in the morning.”

Leo would bet anything that that bottom lip was still stuck out. “Why do you live so far?” Finn groaned.

“Because I’m not a difficult little rockstar.” Leo moved the phone to hold it with his shoulder as he dug for his keys. “I can’t afford a penthouse.”

“You know, it doesn’t have to be a penthouse! There are other options.”

“None within my budget, I’m afraid. It’s okay, I’ll travel anywhere to eat those croissants from the place a couple blocks down.”

“I thought you came to visit us?”

Leo bit his lip as he shut the apartment door behind him. “That, too.” He shucked off his shoes and flopped on the couch with a groan. “It’s been a long day, fuck me.”

“Well, not when you’re forty minutes away.”

Leo rolled his eyes and felt his cheeks warm. “Shut up.”

“I bet all my penthouse rent that you’re blushing right now.”

“You can’t see me.”

“But I know you. And I love you. I know you and I love you, so I know you’re blushing.” He lowered his voice as if to keep their conversation private. “I’ll travel forty minutes to make you blush more, sunshine, if you want.”

Leo tisked. “Aren’t you supposed to be at the studio?”

“Yeah, I’m taking a break. We’ve recorded these damn backing harmonies so many times I’ll be singing them in my sleep.”

“Well,” Leo said, standing to stretch and walk to his bedroom. “We can FaceTime later if you want.” He paused to roll out his neck. “Is Lo there?”

“Nah, he’s not needed for this. I think he’d actually throw the producer’s notebook at the wall if he was here.”

Leo laughed. “Well, then I’m glad he’s not there, then.”

Finn hummed. “Actually, I think you’ll really like where Logan is right now.”

“What?” Leo furrowed his brow as he pushed open his bedroom door. “What do you mean-” He let out a gasp and then smiled. “Oh.”

Logan was in the middle of his bed on his stomach, starfished out as if reaching for them in his sleep. He was in one of Leo’s sweatshirts, one from his college newspaper that he wrote for, and his hair was a mess of long waves. The sheets were pooled low, and the hoodie had ridden up, so Leo got a clear view of the warm, soft skin of Logan’s lower back. Leo lowered his voice as he spoke into the phone.

“Is this a surprise?” he whispered.

“Oo-ways, peanut butter,” Finn said. “Is he sleeping?”

“Yeah.” Leo started moving towards the bed.

“Go on, wake him up. We can say hi together.”

“Okay. I’ll put you on speaker and on the pillow, but don’t make a sound yet, ‘kay?”

“Roger that, babe.”

Leo set his phone down on the pillow unoccupied by Logan’s head and knelt on the mattress. Logan looked so peaceful and relaxed. Leo admired the way his long eyelashes casted shadows over his upper cheeks, and how his perfect Cupid’s bow lips were parted and squished against the pillow. He ran a hand through Logan’s hair softly before settling it on his lower back.

“Logan.” When that still didn’t rouse him, Leo began to press kisses to the back of his neck. “Lo, sweetheart, I’m home.”

There was the tensing of Logan’s muscles as he woke up, then they relaxed once more against the sheets with a deep breath. “Soleil.”

Leo smiled wider. Logan hadn’t even opened his eyes. “Hi, honey. Good nap?”

Logan just made a sleepy affirmative sound and rolled over onto his side, green eyes now looking into Leo’s own. He lifted an arm up. “Ici, mon coeur.”

“One sec.” Leo picked up his phone in his left hand and joined Logan in the bed. He wrapped his arm around Logan’s waist and looped it up around his shoulder to hold the phone above them. He pressed a kiss to Logan’s forehead as he tangled their legs. “Say hi to Fish, sweetheart.”

“Hey, sweet thing.”

Logan’s smile was tired, but content. “Rouge.”

“That’s me. Hey, I kept the surprise a secret, are you proud?”

Leo felt Logan’s amused huff against his neck. “Ouais, so proud.”

“Aw, shucks, baby, thanks.” There was some noise on the other line. “Hey, look, I gotta go, but I love you both very much, okay? I’ll see you soon, I’m stopping by after work, Le.”

Leo just shook his head fondly. “I can’t stop you, can I?”

“Nor would you want to. Okay, goodbye, I love you, love you, love you, love you-”

Logan laughed. “Ouais, je t’aime, mon rouge.”

“Love you, sweetheart,” Leo whispered.

“I love you!” Then the line went dead.

Leo threw his phone towards the end of the bed and wrapped Logan up properly. “That key I gave you came in handy, huh?”

“Mhm.” Logan yawned and nuzzled closer. “Missed you. I wanted to see you.” He kissed Leo’s jaw. “Good surprise?”

“Of course.” Leo palmed the skin of Logan’s hip. “I like your sweatshirt.”

Logan bit at Leo’s skin. “I like you.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Ouais. I love you.”

“Well how about that?” Leo hovered above him to kiss him lingeringly. “I love you, too.”

Logan reached up for him. “Come back.”

“Hold on, sweetheart, let me change into some comfy clothes.”

Leo left Logan alone and dozing for a few minutes to change into some joggers and a sweatshirt. It was one of Finn’s that he stole, a well-worn New York Rangers hoodie, and he played with the hood strings as he knelt back on the bed to pull back the covers.

“When does Finn get out?” he asked in French.

“Around seven. He’s got the other key you gave us.” Logan opened his arms again for Leo to settle into. “He said he’d bring dinner. From that Thai place we both like.”

“Oh, that sounds so good right now.” Leo let out a sigh and allowed his weight to settle into the bed. “Best Tuesday ever.”

Logan hummed and squeezed Leo tighter. “Sleep.”

“You read my mind.” Leo brushed Logan’s hair back from his face to look at his droopy green eyes. “How do you do that?”

Logan’s smile was warm. “Because I love you.”

“I love you.” Leo nudged their noses together then cupped Logan’s head to his chest. “Nap, sweetheart, until Finn gets here.”

Logan just let out a content sigh and kissed his chin before they both closed their eyes.

***

Leo woke up a while later to a hand running gently through his hair. He leaned into the touch and opened his eyes, stretching his toes towards the end of the bed. When he was met with a freckled grin and soft brown eyes framed by dark glasses, he smiled. “Hi.”

“Hi, baby.” Finn leaned down and kissed his forehead. “How are you?”

“Good.” Leo pressed into the hand still carding through his curls. “You’re here.”

“Of course I am. Got my boys all cozy and waiting in bed for me.”

Leo shifted a bit to get a hand on the back of Finn’s neck and drew him down for a kiss. “You want to stay the night? I don’t want you going out in the dark.”

Finn bit his lip playfully. “You know I can just call my driver.”

Leo nipped his lip back. “Maybe I just want you to wake up in my bed.”

“Can’t argue with that.” Finn’s pleased eyes flitted to look over Leo’s shoulder. “Good morning, grumpy.”

Leo turned to find green eyes examining them both. Logan just let out a tired grunt from the back of his throat and stretched in Leo’s arms. “Salut.”

Finn leaned over Leo’s body to kiss Logan, too, before sitting up and away. Leo thought he looked so handsome in his plum quarter zip and jeans. “You hungry, lovers? Got some Thai for you.”

“Thank you, sweetheart,” Leo said. He kissed Logan’s cheek. “C’mon, honey, gotta get up.” And Logan’s groan, Leo smiled and scratched a hand through his hair. “You’ve been so lazy this afternoon. Just sleeping.”

Logan let out another groan and began to roll off the bed. He sat on the edge and rubbed his face with his hands with a yawn. “Merde.” He stretched his arms above his head and stood, smiling at them both. “Salut.”

“Hi, baby.” Finn held out a hand to pull Leo up off the bed and into a kiss. “And my other baby. Hungry?”

“Starving.”

Ten minutes later, they were sitting at Leo’s small dining room table with heaps of take out boxes in front of them. Leo and Logan had both laughed when they saw how much food Finn brought, but he’d just smiled and said he couldn’t choose just three dishes, opening the box of chicken satay. Leo couldn’t say he wasn’t grateful- the leftovers would likely last him for at least two days.

“Thank you for dinner, sweetheart,” Leo said, scooping some Massaman curry onto his rice.

Finn smiled up briefly from his own plate. “Of course, Le. You had a long day.”

Leo hummed around a bite. “It just dragged on. The whole day I was thinking about coming back and watching that new show I started.” He reached out and squeezed Logan’s hand. “But my surprise was better.”

Logan took his fingers and kissed him. “Bien.”

Leo took up his fork again. “Do you guys need anything to stay the night? It’s been a while, I’m usually at your place.”

Finn shook his head. “Nope, brought a bag. No comfy clothes, though, so I guess we’ll have to borrow yours, unfortunately.”

“Shame,” Leo said sarcastically.

Finn shrugged his shoulders. “What can you do?” He then gave Logan a meaningful look, one that Leo didn’t understand. He’d gotten good at reading them in the year and half they’d been together, and most of the time he could, but sometimes the fact that they’d known each other for much longer caught up with them, and Leo was left trying to put the pieces together.

“What?” Leo asked, looking between them. He sank a little into his seat. “Is there something wrong?”

Both of them turned abruptly to him, eyes wide in surprise. Finn shook his head rapidly back and forth and took Leo’s hand. “No, no, Le, baby, nothing’s wrong.” He laughed nervously. “Actually, we wanted to ask you something.”

Leo furrowed his eyebrows. “Okay…”

Logan shifted his chair closer and rested a hand on Leo’s upper thigh. His green eyes were earnest. “We were wondering…” He looked at Finn briefly, who smiled and gave him an encouraging nod. When Logan caught Leo’s eye again, he was smiling, too. “How would you feel if this was one of the last nights spent in this apartment?”

Leo felt his heart stop for a minute. “What? You mean…”

Finn kissed his fingers. “Move in with us, baby.”

Leo brought his free hand to his mouth. He felt his eyes starting to become wet. “Really?”

Logan let out a teary laugh and squeezed Leo’s thigh. “Ouais, mon coeur. Move in with us.”

“Oh my God.” Leo knew his grip on Finn’s hand was tight, but he couldn’t seem to let go. He nodded his head and looked between them. “Yes. Oh my God, yes.”

The next thing he knew his face was being gripped between Logan’s hands as he pressed kisses all over Leo’s cheeks. They were both laughing and crying as Leo reached out to draw him into his lap. He felt Logan’s warm weight settle over his thighs as a different pair of hands came to run their fingers through his hair and eventually settle on the base of his neck. Leo turned his face blindly for Finn’s mouth, Logan moving to kiss down the side of his neck. Leo kissed Finn hard before pulling back to look at him. “Are you sure?”

“Of course we are, what kind of question is that?” Finn was standing above him and smiling so wide almost all his teeth were showing. “We miss you when you’re not there. It’s not home without you, baby.”

That made Leo close his eyes, a tear slipping out and falling down his cheek. He felt Logan gently kiss it away. “Mon coeur.”

“I’m sorry,” Leo whispered. “I just- to hear you say that, I-” He cut himself off and took in a shaky breath before opening his eyes again. Logan had settled himself into the crook of Leo’s neck and Finn was cupping Leo’s jaw gently. Leo took a deep breath. “It’s not that I don’t know that you love me. It’s just that, you’ve been together for longer, and were public together before being public with me, and even still people aren’t really aware. And there are times when you’re away for so long anyways,  I guess- I don’t know, I guess I just thought it was easier, having two separate places, so people didn’t speculate as much. That it was safer for you.”

Finn made a soft sound and kissed Leo’s forehead hard. “What, did you think we wouldn’t want you to come live with us? We love you, baby. We want you forever, and we want you home.”

“Ouais,” Logan said. Leo turned to look at him, and Logan kissed him gently before continuing. “And we don’t care what people think.” He flicked his eyes to Finn before kissing Leo again. “We were thinking of taking a break. Of being home with you.”

Leo sniffed, wiping his cheek. “Huh?”

Finn leaned down to drape his arms over Leo’s shoulders. “The album’s almost done. And normally we’d be planning a tour, or something, but we thought- maybe we delay this tour by a couple years.”

Leo’s eyes widened. “What? I can’t ask you to do-”

“You’re not asking us to do anything, baby,” Finn said. He let out a sigh into Leo’s neck. “Honestly, I’m really tired. I love music, and I love performing, but… I don’t know, maybe we do a New York concert series for a couple weeks after the album is out, but then we just want to stay home with you. Maybe write a bit, spend time with friends and family, do some volunteering, and just be with each other.”

“Oui,” Logan whispered. His hands were mindlessly running through Leo’s hair. “We want to stay still for a while.”

“Settle,” Finn contributed.

“Ouais, settle.” Logan touched their foreheads together. “I thought I had everything, when I got Finn, but something inside of me was still- restless. I thought it was because we were moving so much, but then I met you, mon soleil. And for the first time, I felt still inside.” He kissed Leo’s cheek. “So let us be still together, for a while.”

“And who knows,” Finn said. “Maybe after a few years, we come back and do a tour, but this time engaged.”

Leo breathed in so sharply that he had to clear his throat. “What?”

Finn knew he’d got him. Leo could tell by the smile that was pressed into his neck. “I said what I said.”

“But, you two-”

“Are not getting married without you, mon amour.” Logan’s eyes were amused now. “I thought you knew that.”

“Oh.” Leo felt his heart in his throat. “You mean…”

“I’m not proposing now,” Logan said gently, smiling at them both. “But when I do, I’ll put a ring on both your fingers.”

Finn cupped his jaw softly with one hand. “And who says it’ll be you that proposes first?”

Logan’s grin was a bit fond, a bit mischievous. “Because it’s a competition. And I like to win.”

Finn’s eyebrows shot up. “Is that right?”

“Ouais.”

“Hm.” Finn leaned down to kiss Logan, then turned Leo’s face to kiss him, too. “We mean it, sunshine,” he mumbled against Leo’s mouth. “We don’t want to do anything without you, preferably not ever.” With a last kiss, he pulled back and smiled. “So let’s start by having you get out of this tiny apartment.”

Leo rolled his eyes. “It’s not that bad.”

“You’re right, it’s not.” Finn stood straighter, a hand still on each of them, to look around the space. “We’ve got a bigger kitchen, though, so ha-ha.”

“You do,” Leo said.

“We do,” Logan corrected. He tugged on Leo’s hair gently. “It’s yours now, too, soleil. Anything you want.”

Leo smiled and looked at them both. Finn had moved to stand in front of the chair beside Logan, so Leo had a view of both of their gorgeous faces. He leaned closer, warm from the weight of Logan’s body and Finn’s hand on his ribs, to catch their eyes. “What if I just want you?”

Finn’s eyes were delighted. “Can do that, baby, easy.”

“Ouais,” Logan agreed. He kissed Leo’s temple. “Toujours, mon amour.”

“Mm.” Leo ran a hand up and down Logan’s warm back. “So, we’re really doing this? I’m moving in? You’re taking a break?”

“Fuck yes, we’re doing this.” Finn sounded relieved. “I want to do nothing else but relax and wait for you to come home from work, Le, so we can kiss you hello.”

Leo shrugged. “Sounds good to me. Lo?”

“Mm, ouais.” Logan wrapped his arms around Leo’s shoulders and tucked his face into his neck. “You can join our gym.”

Leo snorted. “Of course that’s what you’re thinking of right now.”

“I want to go to the gym with you!”

Leo could feel Logan’s pout against his skin and kissed the side of his head. “Whatever you want, sweetheart. I’ll go to the gym with you.”

Logan just let out a pleased sound and settled himself further onto Leo’s lap. Leo caught Finn’s eye, who was looking at them both fondly, and they smiled at each other. Finn sighed, then bent down to kiss the tops of their heads. “Okay. You two wanna finish dinner? Then we can take a look at finishing out Leo’s lease and when we can move stuff in.” He bounced on his toes excitedly. “Oh, I can’t wait, this is awesome!”

Leo laughed. “Sure is, honey.” He patted Logan’s hip. “Let’s finish eating, Lo, then we can cuddle and get some logistics done.”

Logan sighed, but complied, kissing Leo’s neck before going to sit in his chair again, kissing Finn, too, along the way. “We did good, mon rouge.”

“So good.” Finn turned to Leo and kissed him briefly before sitting down. “You’re so gorgeous, Le, baby.”

Leo blushed and picked up his fork. “And you’re a sweet talker, Heartthrob O’Hara.”

Finn winked and nodded to Leo’s plate. “Eat up, babe, we got a sexy night of finances to get to.” He waggled his eyebrows. “And maybe a sexy night of other activities, too.”

Leo just shook his head fondly and speared a piece of chicken.

Four months later

“Wow, those disguises of yours sure are secretive.”

Finn smiled at Cassie widely, taking off his sunglasses and lowering the scarf from around his nose. “Thanks, Cass. Looking stunning as usual.”

Cassie raised her eyebrows at Leo before smiling back at Finn. “Why thank you, Finnegan.”

“That is not my name.”

“It is until you give me the number of that hot friend of yours from that dinner you hosted last week.”

“Percy?” Logan asked as he took off his own sunglasses.

“Yep. Very cute, even though he was a bit awkward.”

Finn barked out a laugh as he unzipped his backpack. “Yeah, he’s usually not like that. And I already gave him your number.”

Cassie smiled. “Perfect. I’ll be sure to go easy on him.” She patted Leo’s head and pushed her chair back. “I’ve got a meeting, but I’ll see you later, Le? We’ve got that meeting for the piece with that sexy Olympic diver.”

Leo nodded and saluted. “You got it, boss, I’ll see you at three.”

Cassie waved good-bye to Finn and Logan before she was out of the office door. Leo waited until it had closed behind her before standing and crossing in front of his desk to wrap his arms around Finn’s waist. “Hi, sweetheart,” he said into a quick kiss. He moved to wrap Logan up and kiss him, too. “And my other sweetheart. How was your day?”

“Good,” Finn said, unpacking the bag he’d brought with him. “Had that virtual meeting after our run this morning, after you left. We’re gonna fund a charity run for the Trevor Project in April. Then we went for a walk, wrote for a little bit.”

“Mm,” Leo said. Logan still had him in an embrace, so he caught Finn’s eye over Logan’s shoulder. “Anything good?”

Finn shrugged. “I don’t know, something about some hottie with blond hair and blue eyes. Could be Lo’s imaginary friend, though, you never know.”

That got Logan to pull back and face Finn with a slight scowl. “I don’t have an imaginary friend.”

“Not according to what Noelle told me, about when you were a kid. How’s Jacques these days?”

Logan groaned and dropped his head back with a curse. “Merde, I can’t believe she told you.”

Finn grinned and finished laying out their food. He reached out and took Leo’s hand to pull him over. “We got you your favorite banh mi from that little place you like, and an oatmeal raisin cookie from the bakery down the street. Good?”

Leo smiled and kissed his cheek. “Excellent, I love you. Thank you.”

Finn looked pleased. “Good. Let’s eat.”

They ended up sitting around the desk, Leo across from them in his big chair and Finn and Logan in two on the other side. Their conversation was gentle and mundane, as it so often was when they visited Leo for lunch, but Leo took special pride in how much joy he felt from living a daily, domestic life. So much of the first year and a half of being with them had been fanfare and travel and trying to avoid the spotlight as much as possible, which was hard to do when dating two of the sexiest and most talented, in Leo’s opinion, men in the world. There had been stretches where Leo, unable to take time off of work to travel, had been left alone in New York, video chatting with them every free second they all had. It was worth it, but tiring, and so moving into their penthouse and being there while Finn and Logan took time off from work did settle something in Leo, just like Logan had said it would the day they asked him.

Leo looked across his desk at them, Logan laughing as Finn told a story of some kind, and felt himself soften. These kind, silly, dorky, beautiful boys had chosen him, kept choosing him, made it a point in their relationship to emphasize that, if given the choice, they would both choose him over and over again. It warmed Leo through and filled him up with so much joy he didn’t know what to do with it all.

They must have noticed him spacing out, because Logan set down his sandwich for a moment to reach and touch Leo’s forearm with his warm fingers. “Le? Ça va?”

Leo shook himself out of his trance. “Yeah, sorry.” He settled back into his chair and grinned at them. “Just love you.”

Logan smiled back at him. “We love you, too.” He tilted his head to look at Leo, then at Finn. “I’d like to take you on a date tomorrow. To go skating.”

Leo laughed. “I can’t skate well, oh God.”

“Non, non, I’ll teach you! I’ll hold your hands.” Logan looked excited, which wasn’t normal for him outside of a competitive situation. “We can disguise ourselves easily with winter clothes, and it gets dark early, so we can go out to dinner, too, and not have to worry as much.”

Finn nodded eagerly. “Sounds good to me, baby.” He looked thoughtful for a moment. “Hm, maybe I put on a British accent, just to fake everyone out.”

Leo winced. “Please no, honey. I love you so much, but your accents are terrible.”

Finn stuck his tongue out. “Ha-ha.” He pulled out his phone. “I’ll have Paul come and watch us from afar, just to be safe, he loves to skate. I’ll pay for him and his wife to come and have some fun.”

“Hey, this is my date I’m taking you on,” Logan protested with a kiss to Finn’s cheek. “I do the planning.”

Finn typed on his phone for a moment longer before setting it down. He took Logan’s face in his hands and pressed kisses to his skin repeatedly. “Sorry, sorry, I promise, I’m done. Wine, dine, and sixty-nine us tomorrow all you want, baby.”

Logan captured Finn’s lip in a real kiss before looking at Leo. “Soleil? Sounds good?”

“Ouais, sounds good,” Leo said, taking another bite of his sandwich. “I really can’t skate for shit, though, so I’ll need help.”

“As far as I’m concerned,” Finn said with a smirk, “that’s just an excuse to get our hands all over you. No problems on my end.”

“One lunch,” Leo laughed. “I want one lunch without any sexual innuendos, please. For my birthday or something.”

Finn pouted. “But that’s half my material! I can’t help it if I see you and they just pop into my head.”

Leo shook his head fondly. “One lunch, O’Hara, I challenge you. And if you do it, you’ll get a surprise.”

Finn sat at attention. “What kind of surprise?”

Leo shrugged innocently. “Guess you’ll just have to wait and see.”

Finn closed his eyes and took a deep breath, hanging his head back. “Fuck, you can’t say things like that when we are in an office, baby.”

Leo wiped his hands on a napkin. “I’ll have you know, it’s my office, with shades. And the door locks. And I have disinfecting wipes, just in case, and leather chairs.”

Logan looked between them and the door. “How much time do you have left on your break?”

Leo stood to walk around to the other side. He didn’t miss the way both Finn and Logan spread their legs a little and smiled. “Enough.” He bent to whisper in Logan’s ear. “Go lock the door and lower the blinds, sweetheart, and take off your shirt. I’ll get started on our redhead.”

Logan’s eyes glazed over briefly before he shot up, reaching for the door handle with one hand and behind him to grip his shirt fabric in the other. Leo chuckled and looked down to Finn, who was wetting his lips with his tongue. “This okay?”

Finn just looked him up and down. “You know, Le, baby, I kind of like visiting you at work.”

Leo nudged their noses together as he felt two other hands come up from behind to work on his belt. “I like you visiting me at work, too.”

“Off,” Logan said, voice low and his lips kissing wetly at Leo’s neck. “Off, please, allez.”

Leo smiled, giving Finn one last wink, before reaching behind himself to help Logan remove his shirt. He was a lucky man, indeed.

Katie Dumais was getting too big, Logan thought. At ten years old, she was the spitting image of her dad, down to the practical pranks she played on her siblings. Adele found it amusing- Marc and Louis did not.

Ten was a big age, Logan decided. It was when kids stopped liking to be held, to be picked up, to hang out with their older siblings (blood related or not). Katie had given him and his boys a hard hug each when they arrived to her birthday party, but was now way more occupied with her friends where they were painting each other's nails on a picnic blanket in the Dumais’ backyard. Logan sighed, resting his head back against the Adirondack chair he was sitting on. He felt someone else sit in the chair beside him.

“This is making me feel old.”

Logan smiled at Sirius’ familar French and opened his eyes to look at him. “Ouais. I remember when she was little.”

“I remember when she was a newborn- I'd just moved in.”

Logan let out an amused snort. “Fuck, you must be feeling really old.”

“Allez, I'm not thirty quite yet.”

They laughed at each other for a brief moment. It felt good, to let go with Sirius again. Like it had been no time at all that they were on the same team, spending lots of free time together. They had so many fond memories together in the Dumais’ kitchen: meals shared, laughter, cleaning up the kitchen with Dumo. Logan loved the life he had now, with Finn and Leo, but there were times he wanted to be back there, young and clumsily moving through life. Being with Sirius in this moment felt like a different version of that, Logan supposed.

A presence joined them in the chair on Logan's other side. A cup with a drink in it appeared in front of his face. “For my Lo.”

Logan smiled and kissed Finn's cheek in thanks. “Merci.” He sipped it. “It's good.”

Finn patted his thigh. “Of course it is. I've made rum and coke for you for over a decade, I'm a master.”

“I wish Remus and I were good at mixing drinks,” Sirius said wistfully. “We always end up putting too much alcohol in it.”

Finn laughed around the sip he was taking from Logan's cup. “Well, if that's the goal, you're doing it right then.”

Sirius rolled his eyes. “Ouais, I guess.”

Finn nudged Logan's ear with his nose. “Heads up, some of Katie's friend have tiny siblings and they are all over Leo right now.”

Logan turned into him. Their noses were now brushing. “And what do you think of that?”

“Let's just say that, if I had ovaries, they would be bursting.”

Logan full-body laughed at that, hiding his face in Finn's shoulder. He could feel the smile Finn pressed into his forehead.

“What's so funny?” Remus asked. He and Cole had come to sit on Sirius’ other side.

Finn looked amused. “My ovaries.”

Remus just looked at him. “You don't have ovaries.”

“Well, not physical ones.”

Cole shook his head. “You're so fucking weird, O'Hara.”

Finn just shrugged. He took a sip of Logan's drink again, then suddenly sat up straighter. “Lo, look, look, look.”

Logan picked his head up to follow where Finn's finger was pointing to. Sure enough, Leo was surrounded by about half a dozen little kids, all definitely four or under, and they were playing what looked like a game of keep-away with a tiny soccer ball. A little girl was in the middle, laughing when Leo dangled the ball out in front of her, only to take it back. Eventually, he did let her get it, and went into the middle of the circle. He jogged slowly, exaggeratedly, as the kids passed it around to one another.

“Oh,” Remus said. He snorted lightly. “That's why your ovaries are exploding.”

Finn hummed. “Can you blame me?”

“He has no comment,” Sirius said, which made Remus just laugh.

Logan laced his fingers with Finn's on top of his thigh as they continued to watch. Leo looked happy, smile wide and white, a light sheen of sweat on his face from the hot summer sun. He was tall, too, dwarfing the small children around him. Logan let out a happy sigh. Finn kissed the side of his head. “He's going to be such a cute dad.”

Logan felt his chest warm. “Ouais. Ouais, he is.” He turned to kiss Finn properly on the mouth. “So are you. So sexy.”

Finn laughed a little breathlessly. “Stop that, you're getting me going,” he whispered.

“Maybe I want you to.” Logan leaned in closer with a smile. “Let's go to Dumo's bathroom again.”

Finn's ears were red and his eyes wide. Logan could tell he liked the idea, even if he wouldn't go through with it. “We can't do that, it's Katie's birthday.”

“She doesn't care about us,” Logan scoffed. “We're not cool enough anymore.”

Finn laughed and squeezed his hand. “Well, then, we can't because we're watching Leo play with tiny humans.”

“Oh, that's right.” Logan kissed Finn's cheek once more before turning with a sigh to look at Leo. “He's so tall.”

“Ugh, I know. Just look at his legs, Jesus Christ.”

Indeed, his legs were a sight to behold. They were lean and tan, the quad and hamstring muscles flexing and visible whenever he moved. His waist was slim, and he was tall, so shorts never ran long enough anyways, but Leo also preferred the eight-inch inseam, which left so much bare skin visible. Logan wanted to dig his teeth into the muscles of his inner thighs.

Leo was still in the middle, not quite yet letting himself best the kids. But one of them kicked the ball a little too hard, and it was going to go flying into a food table on the other side of the yard. Leo acted quickly, extending his long- so long, Jesus Christ- leg out to block it with his foot. He fell to the ground, one leg tucked under him and his other completely extended, the entire limb touching the ground. He didn't even flinch.

“Geez,” Remus said. “That's so not fair.”

“How the hell does he do that?” Cole asked. “That's so not fair.”

“Oh, it so is,” Finn said. His cheeks were flushed. “I'm a big fan.”

“Ew,” Sirius said. “Stop being gross.”

Logan scoffed. “Let's tell Loops what you think about his arms.”

Remus looked at Sirius mischievously. “Oh yeah? You like my arms, baby?”

Sirius stuttered. “Mais- allez, but- I don't not like them.”

“Oh my God,” Cole said, hands covering his face. “I should not be privy to these conversations.”

Finn just settled back in his chair, amused, and sighed contentedly. “Oh, look, here he comes.”

Logan turned to find Leo walking up to them. He was smiling, still, and he stopped in front of them with his hands on his hips. “Hi.”

“Hi, baby,” Finn said. He was looking at Leo adoringly. “Having fun?”

“Yeah,” Leo nodded. “Dumo and the other parents said they could watch the kids in the pool, so they went to change into their swimsuits.” When they said nothing, still just looking at him, he furrowed his eyebrows. “What?”

“They're saying inappropriate things about you,” Cole said.

Leo let out a confused laugh. “What?”

“Something about Finn's ovaries,” Sirius grumbled.

Leo blinked. “Excuse me? None of y'all have those.”

Finn leaned forward in his chair to cup the backs of Leo’s knees. “Figuratively, I do. C'mere, Le, sit.”

Leo hesitated, but he allowed himself to be pulled down and into straddling Finn's lap. Logan and Finn immediately put their hands on his thighs. “Why are you saying you have ovaries?”

Finn rolled his eyes. “They're figurative.” He kissed Leo quickly. “And they go crazy when I see you with kids.”

That got Leo to smile. “Yeah?”

Logan nodded. “Mhm, ouais. That and your legs.”

“Oo, yeah,” Finn said, rubbing his hands further up Leo's thighs. “Your flexible, flexible legs.”

Leo tisked and grabbed Finn's hands where they were making their way towards his butt and settled them further down towards his knees. “Stop that, there are children,” he chastised, but he was biting back a smile and blushing.

“Mm,” Finn hummed, leaning in to bite at Leo's jaw. “Sexy, sexy legs.”

“Are you pretending you're not hearing this?” Remus asked.

“Yes,” Cole said. “Oh my God, yes.”

“Rouge,” Logan scolded. “We don't want to make them uncomfortable.”

“Well, then,” Finn said. He let out a grunt and stood, hoisting Leo up underneath his thighs. “We will be taking this party elsewhere. Where’s the pool? Are there tiny children in it yet? We've got a change of clothes in the car.”

Leo was laughing. “Finn, no-”

But Finn was already off walking across the grass. He drew some eyes, a few surprised looks at first, but then Logan watched as people smiled as they watched Leo and Finn laughing, Leo's hands laced in Finn's hair. Logan bit his knuckle around a grin as he watched them go.

“Mon Dieu, that was painful,” Sirius said. “I don't even want to know what you're like behind closed doors.”

Logan raised his eyebrows at him. “Non, you don't.”

Sirius groaned and fell into Remus, who just kissed his head. “Baby, you set yourself up so well every time. You should have learned by now.”

“This is supposed to be a family friendly party,” Cole said. “How does it always turn out like this?”

Sirius glared at Logan. “Because the Cubs are dirty.”

Logan winked at him, which definitely didn't thwart his ideas, and stood to follow the sound of his boyfriends’ laughter.

***

Finn loved Logan and Leo at parties. He loved the way that, when he himself wandered off to socialize, Logan automatically tucked himself into Leo's side, content to just watch as Leo charmed whoever he was speaking to with his wit and his smile and that special goodness that Finn and Logan adored.

Tonight however, on the rooftop of a New York City bar, it seemed that Logan’s social battery had somehow activated itself.

He'd definitely had too much to drink- Finn could tell by the way his face flushed and by the way he every so often gripped Leo's jaw to bring him down into some kisses that would have been way too obscene during the day. But during the night, in the middle of summer, surrounded by other tipsy people- well, Finn, for one, was really enjoying the show.

“You know,” Natalie said from beside him at the bar. “I used to think that Logan was just a shy little grump.” Her eyebrows raised even higher when Logan took Leo's lip between his teeth, Leo shaking his head at him fondly with wide eyes when he pulled away. “But now I know that he’s a loud grump who needs just the right amount of tequila to bring him out of his shell.” She winced when Logan interrupted Leo talking to Alex to bring him down into another deep kiss. “Sheesh, maybe too much out of his shell.”

Finn smiled. “Yeah, those shots were not a good idea. I'm surprised he even did them.”

“I'm regretting buying him them.” Natalie rapped her knuckles on the bar top. “So, Freckle, how's it hangin'? Thanks for coming out with us tonight. Alex really needed to be taken for a walk.”

Finn laughed. “Yeah, we can't be inside for too long. What'd he do?”

Natalie counted off on her fingers. “Claimed he was bored, cleaned the kitchen, claimed he was bored again, cleaned the bathroom, baked brownies, fell asleep on Kasey for a weird twenty minutes, went for a run, claimed he was bored another time, then was tapping his fingers all through dinner when we were watching the Open.” She sighed. “And this was all by 5 p.m.”

“Huh,” Finn hummed. “To be fair to him, sounds like a pretty empty day.”

Natalie just looked at him, then rolled her eyes over to where the bar tender was coming with their drinks. “You boys are both crazy.” She thanked the bar tender, then picked up her tray. “C'mon. Maybe if we give them enough alcohol, they'll be too hung over to do anything tomorrow but sleep.”

Finn snorted, picking up his own tray. “Logan might. But us O'Haras have a fast metabolism.”

“Don't fucking remind me.”

They maneuvered their way around the other people slowly, careful not to spill anything. Finn had ordered Logan a water and Leo a Dark ‘n Stormy. He got himself a Manhatten; this late in the night, he was in a sipping mood. Plus, somebody had to be sober enough to get Logan home.

“Hey, gorgeous,” Alex said with a smile, accepting his drink and a kiss on the cheek from Natalie. “Thank you.” He turned to Finn. His cheeks were flushed and his eyes a little wild- he was definitely past tipsy. “Tremzy here challenged me to an arm wrestle.”

Finn looked to Kasey, who winced with a nod. Leo had his arms wrapped around Logan, keeping his arms contained in an obvious attempt to deter the idea with cuddling. By Logan’s excited, drunken grin, it was not exactly working.

“Al,” Finn said, eyeing his brother. “Are you sure? Logan doesn't really know his own strength when he’s-”

Alex waved him off with a determined look. “I've got this.” He took a sip of his drink and cracked his knuckles, leaning forward in Kasey’s hold, who had a hand on each of Alex’s hips from behind. Alex propped his elbow up on the table. “Let’s see what you got, Lolo.”

Logan scoffed. “That's not my name.”

Alex rolled his eyes. “C’mon.”

Leo looked at Finn with raised eyebrows. Finn sighed and took a step closer, cupping Logan’s face in his hands. “Please be careful with him. He's my older brother, and he's an ass, but I do love him.”

“Hey!”

Logan just giggled in the way he only did when he was intoxicated and leaned up to kiss Finn sloppily. “Ouais, I won't break him.”

Finn kissed his forehead. “Okay. Okay, show ‘em what you got, Tremblay.”

Logan and Finn switched places, Finn leaning back into Leo's chest and Logan taking a seat opposite Alex.

“What did you get him?” Leo whispered.

“Water,” Finn said. He brought Leo's hand up to his mouth and kissed it. “I really don't want to deal with a mega hungover Logan tomorrow.”

Leo snorted quietly. “He acts like the world's ending. Le, I want soup, please. Fish, I need a massage, allez.”

Finn grinned. “I promise I'll give you lots of nice kisses if you service me.”

They snickered quietly together, Leo hiding his face in Finn's shoulder. Alex and Logan, whose hands were clasped, looked at them. “Quoi?” Logan asked. “What's so funny?”

Finn patted the top of his head. “Nothing, baby, carry on.” He smiled at the laugh Leo let out against his neck.

Logan narrowed his eyes at them, then turned back to Alex, who was focused intently. “Kase, count off,” Alex slurred.

Kasey sighed from where he was sitting behind Alex, Natalie standing next to him and running her hands through his hair. “Okay,” he said exasperatedly. “Three, two, one, go!”

“Shit,” Leo said breathlessly in Finn's ear after a moment. “Maybe this was a good idea after all.”

Indeed, Finn was inclined to agree. Logan's sharp jaw was clenched in concentration, his slightly sweaty hair curling out and fanning over his ears. Finn followed a line down from his devastating green eyes to his shoulder and back, defined in the maroon shirt he was wearing, all the way down to his arm. His bicep was bulging in a way that was not helpful in a public setting, and the veins in his forearms showed distinctly through his skin. Finn bit his lip as his face flushed. Leo must have been feeling the same way, because he pressed lingering, open-mouthed kisses to the back of Finn's neck.

“Oh, baby,” Leo said hotly, quietly. “Look at those biceps.”

Finn nodded absentmindedly, gripping hard onto where Leo's forearms were wrapped around his waist. Leo had just flattened his palms, running a hand lower on Finn's abs down to the waistline of his shorts, when Alex let out a grunt as his arm fell limp on the table.

“Allez!” Logan yelled, slapping the table with his hand.

Alex let out a defeated groan, covering his face with his hands as he fell heavily back onto Kasey's chest, Natalie carding a hand through his hair. “Fuck, that's not fair.”

“It's okay, hon,” Kasey reassured him with a kiss to his cheek. “You'll get him next time.”

Alex just groaned again.

Logan, however, stood up and moved right into Finn and Leo's space, grin a little victorious, definitely drunk, and very much in love. “Did you see?”

Leo laughed. “Yeah, honey, we saw. You beat him good.”

Logan hummed, reaching up to tug on Finn's hair. “Did you like what you saw?”

Finn guided Logan's hands down then rubbed possessively at his biceps. “Definitely. I'd like to record it next time, please, zoomed in on your arms. For alone-time material.”

Leo smacked his hip. “Since when have you ever done that alone since you started dating us?”

Finn bit back a smile and turned to kiss Leo's jaw. “You're so right, I've even got two of you.” He nosed under Leo's chin. “We can use it as material when we have alone time together while he's in New York.”

Leo sucked in a breath. Finn knew he'd got him. “That's a good point.”

Logan reached up again to grab at Finn's hand and draw his attention. “Allez, what material will I be getting, all alone in New York?”

Finn kissed him. “Anything you want, baby.”

That made Logan's eyes light up. “Ouais, then, I want a video of your hands on Leo's thighs.”

Finn nodded. “Oo, good choice. We can do that.” He reached around to pat the back of Leo’s thighs. “I love getting my hands on these sexy legs.”

Based on Logan's smile, Leo had rolled his eyes. “This is not appropriate for public consumption.”

“It sure as hell isn’t,” Finn said. He winked at Logan. “Our eyes only.”

Logan hummed happily. “Ouais, our eyes only.” He fell forward a little bit, distractedly running his hands through Finn’s hair. “I'm tired.”

Finn tilted his jaw down to bite at Logan's bicep. The muscle was firm under his teeth. “Let's finish these drinks, then we go home.”

Logan kissed him briefly. “What did you get me?”

“Water.”

Logan scoffed, letting his hands fall to his side and maneuvering to bully Finn out of the way so he could snuggle into Leo's chest. “You're no fun.”

Leo kissed his forehead appeasingly. “We are trying to avoid the hangover of the century tomorrow.”

Logan just sighed heavily.

After forcing Logan through the entire glass of water and sipping on their own drinks, Leo and Finn coaxed Logan into letting them guide him out of the bar. They waved goodbye to Natalie, Kasey, and Alex, the latter of whom was almost asleep and being half-carried by Kasey to stand up so they could leave themselves. Finn smacked his brother on the back, eliciting a huff, before tightening his other arm around Logan’s waist to help him down the stairs. Leo went in front of them, walking backwards and holding out his hands to support Logan as he wobbled.

“My Lord, honey, you are really drunk, aren't you?”

“Non,” Logan protested. “I'm not.”

“Okay, let me just let go of your hands then.”

Logan gripped Leo’s wrists tighter, his arms flexing. “Non, non, peanut, non.”

Leo just smiled fondly and bent to kiss Logan’s biceps. “C’mon, muscle man, let's go to bed.”

Finn laughed, and they helped Logan slowly down the stairs. When they got to the bottom, the lights of the noise and the city surrounding them, Finn couldn't help but push them both against the dark corner of a building, Logan stumbling a bit.

“Merde, Fish, I'm gonna fall.”

“Nuh uh,” Finn said. He pressed his hands to Logan’s hips and kissed his mouth hard. “Not while I've got you. You and your sexy arms.”

Logan laughed, resting his head against the brick. He gazed at Leo, then at Finn, a sleepy smile on his face. “I love you.”

Leo smiled back and bent to kiss him. “Love you, sweetheart.” He tugged at Logan’s hand, blue eyes playfully meeting Logan’s own. Finn was so in love with them. “Alright, it's not too far to walk. Let's get you and your sexy biceps back home.”

***

Leo hummed quietly to himself as he puttered around the kitchen, placing the lid on the pot so the taco meat could simmer. He checked on the potatoes in the oven. They still weren't near done, but they definitely weren't as raw as they had been earlier. He sighed, glancing around. The guacamole was ready, and so was the crema and the pico de gallo. He covered the bowls with the beeswax wrap Regulus had got him for his birthday and placed them in the fridge to stay cool while the rest of the dinner cooked.

He stretched, his back popping just as there was the scratching of keys in the lock. Logan walked through a few seconds later and smiled when he saw Leo. “Salut, soleil,” he said, toeing his sneakers off and sliding over to give Leo a kiss.

“Hi, sweetheart.” Leo wrapped him in a hug. “How's Sirius?”

“Good,” Logan sighed into Leo's neck. “Happy to not be an All Star again.”

Leo hummed happily into Logan's hair. “So are you. You get to come home.”

Logan made a content noise. “Where's rouge?”

“Reading in bed,” Leo said. He pulled back to hold onto Logan's hips with a smile. “He was tired after pickup yesterday and our long run this morning.”

Logan stepped on Leo's toes with a bashful smile. “And we had a late night.”

Leo nuzzled their noses. “That we did.” He tugged Logan's hand. “C'mon, let's go say hi.”

Leo held tightly to Logan's hand all the way to their bedroom. The door was opened just slightly, and there was just a reading light on. There wasn't any noise.

“Is he asleep?” Logan whispered, standing on his toes to peer over Leo’s shoulder.

Leo nodded. “I think so. We have to be so quiet.”

Logan hid his laugh in Leo's sweater-covered bicep. They stepped through as quietly as they could. Leo peered around the doorway and smiled. He felt Logan squeeze his hand.

Finn was uncharacteristically starfished on the bed, mouth open and sleeping soundly. He had a special talent for falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, but even this was extreme- he normally slept on his side. Now he was flat on his back with his arms over his head. The cuffs at the bottom of his sweatpants had ridden up, as well as his gray Harvard sweatshirt, exposing the trail of red hair at the bottom of his stomach. He'd kicked one of his fuzzy socks half off his foot.

Leo could feel Logan still giggling into his arm. “Très étrange.”

“Ouais,” Leo whispered. He squeezed Logan's hand and let go, approaching the bed. He and Logan laid down on either side, hovering over to just look at him. Leo touched his cheek lightly. “He has so many freckles, even in winter.”

Logan smiled down at Finn fondly. “Oui.” He pressed a silent kiss to Finn's cheek. “I think he has more now than he did in college.”

Leo turned to catch Logan's eye. “Yeah?”

Logan nodded. “Ouais.” He gazed back down at Finn, smile still on his face. Leo loved how Logan looked at him. “I don't think I could count them all now.”

Leo got his knees under him. “Let's try.”

They counted, Leo pointing to each one and Logan saying the number in soft French with a hand stroking Finn's hair back. They grinned at one another every now and then, giggling, Logan giving Leo a kiss to keep him quiet.

They'd gotten to freckle one hundred and seventy when Finn let out a little noise, making Leo laugh. Logan had hushed him, leaning across for a soft kiss. It was with their lips pressed together that they felt Finn's chest expand with a deep breath. “Whoa.”

Leo smiled against Logan's mouth and pulled away. Finn was staring at them with parted lips. Leo stroked his cheekbone. “Hi, sweetheart.”

Finn smiled lazily and stretched. “Don't stop on my account.”

Logan huffed out a breathless laugh and leaned down to kiss Finn on the mouth. “Salut, rouge.”

“Mm,” Finn said, reaching a hand up to rub up and down Logan's ribs. “Hi, baby. Good day?”

“Ouais,” Logan said softly. He settled himself on his stomach with his chin on Finn's chest. “Good nap?”

Finn nodded and let out a puff of air through his lips. “Yeah. Yikes, I was tired.”

Leo's laugh made them both look at him. “You were conked out, honey. I think that's the hardest I've ever seen you sleep.”

Finn's smile widened. “Enjoy the view?”

Leo shifted to hover over him more. Finn's eyes followed the line of his body. “Definitely.” He looked at Finn's eyes in the warm lamp light and softened. “Your eyes look so pretty.”

“You think?”

Logan shifted to look down at Finn's face, too. He grinned. “Oui, they do. Like they're- comment dit-on?” He looked at Leo with questioning eyes. “Fondre?”

Leo leaned over and kissed his cheek. “To melt. They look like they're melting.”

“Ouais, melting.”

Finn was looking at them both fondly. Leo swore that if Finn's eyes weren't actually melting, they'd make Leo melt. Now, they twinkled a bit, too. “I love the way you talk to each other.”

Logan hid his face sheepishly in Finn's neck. Finn rubbed up and down his ribs and looked up at Leo with a satisfied smile. Leo smiled back and leaned down to kiss him. “Rise and shine, sweetheart. Dinner's almost ready.”

Finn just wrapped his other arm around Leo's back and dragged him down to his chest next to Logan. “Five minutes.” He turned to look at Leo with a pout. “Please?”

How could Leo say no to those eyes? To the gorgeous, star-like freckles that lined the skin around them?

“Okay. Five minutes.” He settled in against Finn's shoulder and reached his other hand out to scratch Logan's scalp, Logan humming contentedly. “But only five minutes. I worked hard on those taco bowls, and they will be spectacular.”

Finn laughed softly into Leo's hair. “I bet they will be. Your food always is.” He kissed Leo's curls. “Love you.”

“Love you,” Leo whispered. He pressed a kissed to Finn's shoulder and closed his eyes. “I love you.”

since you loved the first hogwarts au prompt, can i ask for more???? take your time ofc !!🤍

This is a little drabble I've had sitting in my drafts for a while now! It's in the same realm as the last Hogwarts one I did. If it's not what you're looking for, or if you have a different/more specific vision for a prompt, please please please write me another ask! I want to do your ideas justice. :)

Enjoy some long-distance Cubs in the mountains of beautiful Eryri!

TW: alluded to nefarious activities, but nothing explicit!

All credits to @lumosinlove :)

P.S.: I am making assumptions on the kinds of spells and magic stuff they have. It's been AGES since I read HP, because She Who Must Not Be Named is a TERF and we #donotlikeher, so I just took some liberty on the few times magic is explicitly referenced.

Logan took a satisfied breath in, feeling as his bare chest brushed Finn’s above him. The light shining through their bedroom window was as warm as the afterglow. He sighed, nudging his nose into Finn’s hair to breath in his scent. He smelled like a mix of himself, sweat- and Leo’s cologne, Logan realized. He must have sprayed some on himself before his apprenticeship that morning.

“Fuck,” Finn said with a laugh. He let go of Logan's wrists and wrapped him up. “Fuck, how is it always so good?”

Logan brought their mouths together sloppily again with a hum. “Je t'aime.”

Finn kissed him harder, turning them on their sides and relaxing into the mattress. They made out lazily, just feeling each other's skin, until Finn pulled back to press a kiss to his temple.

“I love you.” He tucked his face into Logan’s neck. “Cleaning charm or shower?”

Logan snorted. “Leo would want us to shower.”

Finn smiled into his skin. “Mm, yeah. He looks so good in the shower.”

“Ouais, so tall. Like a god.”

“Ugh, he's so sexy.” Finn rolled over to squish Logan into the mattress. “You're both so sexy. What am I supposed to do?”

Logan laughed. “You poor thing,” he mocked in Finn’s accent.

Finn huffed, giving Logan one more hard kiss before standing. He held out his hand. “Shower? Then we call Leo.”

Logan took it and followed Finn to the bathroom. Their Muggle flat in Derby was a bit old, and the pipes didn't always heat the water up fully, but Logan loved it more than he could say. Today, luckily, the water was nice and warm, and Logan reveled in getting to run his hand through Finn's thick, shampooed waves. He had been growing it out since October, and Leo and Logan couldn't get enough of it. Logan had watched as Leo stepped off the Hogwarts Express at Christmas with wide eyes, hands immediately carding through Finn's hair.

What's this, O'Hara?

Finn had smirked. What, you don't like it?

Leo had tugged at the strands, forcing Finn to look up and make a noise that was not appropriate for a train station. What do you think? Then he'd kissed Finn, then Logan, so hard that it made them dizzy.

Safe to say, sitting through dinner with Leo's parents that evening had been a monumental task.

“What’re you thinking about, baby?”

Logan shook out of his reverie. “You. Your hair. Leo.” Logan sighed, closing his eyes and imagining blond curls. “His hair.”

“He does have nice hair.”

“So do you.”

“So do you.” Finn threaded his fingers to scratch at Logan's scalp. “All dark and thick.” He kissed Logan's forehead. “It's getting curlier, now that it's longer.”

Logan hummed, leaning into Finn's body. “Wonder what Leo's hair looks like.”

Finn snorted. “You know what it looks like. We called him the other day.”

Logan grunted. “It's different in person.”

Finn sighed. “I know, baby. I know.” He leaned back. “Let’s finish here, then call him, yeah? He's probably almost done with his homework for the evening.”

Logan washed Finn's body reverently, taking time to massage his shoulders and upper back where he got sore. He was rewarded with soft kisses to his forehead, his collarbone, his cheek. Logan missed being at Hogwarts, missed being with his friends every day, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't also love this domestic bliss he lived in now. He loved not having to sneak into Finn or Leo's bed, he loved being able to bathe together like this. Most of all, he loved coming home to a place that was theirs, that they made together, that encompassed the bed, and the bathing, and everything else. He saw himself in the Quidditch magazines lying around the house, Finn in the books piled everywhere- even Leo, though he didn’t live there yet, with the perfectly knitted blanket from his farm in Wales that had a permanent residence on the couch.

Logan sighed, staring at that blanket while Finn made them both dinner (egg sandwiches, the way Leo taught them), sat at a stool by the counter with his evening tea. He stretched his legs, sore from practice, and turned to Finn. “Fish?”

Finn hummed, handing him a plate with his sandwich. “Yeah?”

“I miss him.”

Finn looked up at that, sandwich halfway to his mouth. “Le?”

“Ouais.” Logan sighed again, picking up his own sandwich. “It just doesn't feel like home.”

Finn furrowed his eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

Logan shrugged as he swallowed. “Je ne sais pas. It just- it is ours, and I love living here with you, and it is home. Home is with you.” Logan pursed his lips. “But it's also with Leo.”

Finn nodded in understanding. “I know. I know, baby, it doesn't- it's like it's home, but not a complete one.”

“Exactly,” Logan said. “It's not complete without both of you.”

Finn finished off his dinner, then came to wrap Logan in a hug. “Only a few more days until he comes home for Easter, then he graduates in May. Then he's all ours forever, okay, baby?”

“Mais, he is all ours. You're mine, too.”

Finn smiled into his hair. “Yes, we are all yours, you greedy thing.” He kissed Logan's head. “C'mon. I need a dose of sunshine.”

Leo picked up his two-way mirror on the first vibration they sent through. He looked tired, a little stressed, but his smile was wide when he saw them. “Hi, fy nghariadau. You okay?”

“Hi, love,” Finn said. He touched his thumb to the edge of the mirror. “We're alright. Just wanted to see your pretty face once more before you come home.”

Leo scrunched his nose at them. “You're sweet.”

“Non, you are.” Logan groaned, flopping onto Finn's chest. “Soleil, ici. Come back.”

That made Leo blush, his crystal blue eyes standing out against his red cheeks. “I'm trying, honey,” he said. “I've got to do one last thing for Potions, and-

“I hope this is an actual assignment and not some extra experiment that's going to get you blown up,” Finn interrupted with a raised eyebrow. “Because I prefer your whole body, not pieces of it.”

If possible, Leo turned even redder. “It is assigned, I'll have you know.”

“Get it done faster,” Logan said. “I miss you.”

“We.”

“Ouais, that's what I meant.”

Finn rolled his eyes fondly, but turned back to the mirror. “We are suffering from a sunshine deficiency.”

Leo, who was now distracted by something, presumably a book, just quirked an eyebrow. “A vitamin D deficiency? But it's spring now, go outside.”

Logan scoffed. “Non, soleil. Toi.”

Finn put a hand over Logan's head. “You, sunshine. We have a you deficiency.”

“Soleil, come back,” Logan whined again, frustrated. He patted the couch cushions hard. “Allez.”

Leo sighed, looking up from his book. He looked mildly irritated at having been interrupted, but he softened immediately upon seeing their faces. He spoke to Logan. “Oh, cariad, don’t look at me with those eyes.”

Finn laughed. He tapped Logan on the hip a few times. “Don't make him feel guilty for studying.”

“But it keeps him away from us.”

Leo scoffed and waved a piece of parchment at them. “Not everyone can just get by on muscles and Quidditch skills for their career, Lo.”

“Ouais, you could.”

“Yeah, Le, I already told you. Best Keeper Ravenclaw has seen.”

Leo pointed his finger at him. “And I told you that you're biased.” He straightened his posture. “Now, I've got to write six more inches of this Arithmancy essay. I love you, I love your voices, now be my soundtrack so I can concentrate.” He turned his devastating eyes at them. Logan felt his heart kick. “Tell me about your day.”

Beddgelert, March 2016

Leo sighed, savoring the last bite of his mother's lamb cawl, heating him up from the inside as the last dregs of the Eryri winter faded away. They didn't have anymore snow, but the chill was still there. His Raynaud's flared up frequently in the drafty halls of Hogwarts. He was grateful to be in his kitchen at home; it was warm from the oven and his mother's cooking.

“Diolch, mam,” he said, turning to look at his mother. It felt like a relief to speak his native language. “It was really good.”

She kissed his forehead and poured herself some more wine. She gave him a wink. “Of course, honey. I'll have to make it again when those boys of yours arrive.”

His father laughed. “Might need to make a double batch. Logan always eats us out of house and home.”

Leo smiled. “Don't tell him that, he'll get embarrassed.” He rested his chin on his hand. “Are you sure you're okay with them staying here for a few days? I know it'll be a lot, what with the family Easter party on Sunday.”

Eloise shook her head. “They’re welcome, as long as they help.” She came over to give him a hug and pressed a kiss to his curls. “Besides, I missed my boy. And I did have you first.”

Leo laughed, giving her a kiss on the cheek before beginning to clear the table. He had missed her and his dad, too, and the mountains and the farm. He had missed the way his parents spoke Welsh, the lilt of their vowels and their familiar accents. They hadn’t forced him to come home; he had actually suggested it. He wanted to spend a few days in Beddgelert before going to Finn and Logan’s (and his, he guessed) apartment in Derby. They were due to arrive the following evening after Logan’s practice and Finn’s last day of his apprenticeship before his own Easter break. They were excited to come celebrate with Leo’s extended family- Finn said he had bought a special ‘Easter shirt’ at the charity shop the other day.

I want to look proper spiffy for your family, sunshine, he had said. Gotta make a good first impression.

Leo smiled to himself at the memory, handing the last plate to be dried to his dad. Together, they wiped down the counters and stove. Leo couldn't wait for the kitchen to be filled with the smell of bara brith and Welsh cakes and more lamb and roasted vegetables over the next few days. He loved the Hogwarts meals, but he did miss being able to cook his own food. He perused the cabinets, looking for a packet of digestives, his favorite biscuits, when there was a whooshing sound of someone coming through the fireplace.

“Mam!” he called. “Did you invite Effie over?”

Effie Potter and Eloise had become fast friends when they had been invited to the Potter’s annual New Years Eve party. James and Monty had helped them set up the Floo in the Knut's fireplace, and Effie and Eloise now often had a post-dinner tea (or drink, depending on the mood). There was another whooshing sound, and Leo furrowed his brow.

“Hello?” he said, creeping slowly into the living room. The sight in front of him stopped him in his tracks. He let out a joyful laugh.

“Salut.”

“Hi, sunshine.”

Leo leaned against the doorway, smiling. “Hi.”

Logan, who was bouncing on his toes, couldn't seem to hold back anymore. He dropped his bag and ran forward right into Leo's arms. Leo wrapped him up close, slouching down to tuck his face into Logan's hair. “Hi, cariad. Hi.”

He opened an arm for Finn to tuck in against them. Finn reached a palm to cup Leo's cheek and kiss him. “Surprise, baby.”

Leo grinned against Finn's mouth. “The best surprise.” He pulled back, tightening his arm around Finn's waist. “I thought you wouldn't be here until tomorrow.”

“Logan’s last practice was actually today, as well as my last day before break.” Finn winced. “Sorry we lied.”

Leo kissed his temple. “You get away with it this time.” He tilted his head to look down at Logan. “How's my needy snugglebug?”

Logan rested his chin on Leo's collarbone and glared up. “Non, I'm not.”

Leo grinned. “You mean you don't want kisses?”

Logan grunted. “That's not what I said. Allez.”

He dragged Leo down to meet his mouth, and Leo let himself sink into Logan's warm body. He lingered until he physically needed to breath, breaking away with a slight gasp. Logan placed sloppy kisses under his jaw before tucking his face back into Leo's neck with a happy sigh.

Finn looked at him, amused. “Not needy, my arse.”

Logan just grunted in reply, but he didn’t deny it.

“There they are!” Eloise came striding in with Wyatt in tow. “It worked!”

“What?” Leo asked as she pulled both Finn and Logan into hugs.

“The surprise,” Wyatt said matter-of-factly. He shook both Finn and Logan's hands. “How are we, boys, you alright?”

Finn wrapped an arm around Logan's shoulders. “Yeah, we're good. Excited to be here.”

Eloise clapped her hands excitedly. “Okay, bed's upstairs, all made up. You hungry? I've got some leftover lamb cawl.”

Logan shook his head. “Non, merci, we ate. For lunch tomorrow?”

Eloise nodded excitedly. “With some fresh bread from the bakery down the street.” She shooed them away with wink. “Off you pop, I'm sure you've got lots of catching up to do.”

Leo blushed. “Mam.” He let Logan, then Finn up the stairs, following with a hand resting on Finn's lower back. “Nos da.”

“Sleep tight, loves!”

Their footsteps sounded all the way down the hallway to Leo's room. Upon closing the door, Logan pulled Leo in and wrapped his arms around Leo's neck. He was grinning eagerly. “Will there be much sleeping?”

Leo smiled, ducking down to wrap Logan fully in his arms. Logan played with his scalp, and Leo relaxed into it, letting out a yawn.

Finn laughed at him over Logan's shoulder, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “I think there might be. You look tired, baby.”

Leo straightened. “No, I'm okay. I'm totally fine, we can-”

Logan pressed three fingers to his mouth. “Non. You were stressed with work and traveled all day on the train. You're tired, mon soleil.” He pressed his thumbs to Leo's cheeks, just below his lashes. “I can see it in your eyes.”

Leo sighed, tipping forward to press their foreheads together. “I'm sorry,” he whispered. “I'm exhausted. Tomorrow, I promise.”

Finn came up to press along Logan's back, a hand on Leo's ribs. “Sex isn't an obligation, love. It's a nice bonus, but only if you want it.”

Leo considered that for a moment. “I do want it. I want you.” He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. “But right now I want to shower and I want you to hold me.”

Finn brushed a few curls away from his face. “Can do, sunshine. We already showered, so you go ahead. We'll warm the bed up for you.”

Leo nodded, kissing each of their cheeks before pulling a pair of boxers and a towel from his closet, leaving them to get ready for bed.

The shower was warm against his skin. His hair felt greasy under his fingers, so he decided to wash it. He was just putting in some conditioner when there was a knock at the door.

“Le?” came Finn's voice. “Can we come in and brush our teeth and wash our faces?”

Leo smiled. He'd gotten them into Muggle skincare since they'd started dating, particularly Logan, to their collective surprise. He really loved a good moisturizer.

“Yeah,” he replied. “I'm almost done.”

He heard the popping of toothpaste caps and the cleanser bottle that Logan liked as he washed his body and rinsed out the conditioner. When he stepped out and grabbed a towel, he came face to face with Logan, who looked up at him through his lashes. Leo smiled. “What?”

Logan just kissed his chest. “Si beau.” He held up a few containers. “I bought you the face creams that you like.”

Leo just leaned down and kissed him.

After drying off and settling his boyfriends into bed, Leo went about applying lotion to his arms and legs. His skin got dry and cracked when it was cold, and he could already feel the chilly night air working its way into his bones.

“Allez,” Logan said. “Leo.”

“Just a moment, cariad. I've got to do my other leg.”

Logan huffed and slumped down against his pillow, arms crossed in frustration. Finn caught Leo's eye and winked. “Getting all nice and moisturized for us, baby?”

Leo rolled his eyes, but went to kneel on the end of the bed. “You wish. My skin gets dry when I'm cold.”

Finn patted the space next to him. “C'mere.”

Leo obliged, crawling up the mattress to lay in between them. Logan immediately settled himself on Leo's chest, his nose taking up its permanent resident just underneath Leo's chin. Finn wrapped an arm around Leo's torso and threw his leg over both of them.

“It feels good,” Finn said. “To be in bed all together again.” He nuzzled Leo's shoulder. “Love the weight of you.”

“I don’t sleep well,” Leo whispered. “Not without you.”

Logan made a discontent noise. “I don't like that.”

“I know,” Leo said, rubbing a hand up and down Logan's back. “But do you know what I do when I can't sleep?”

“What?” Finn asked, intrigued.

Leo turned his head to nudge their noses together. “I read the letters you send me, and I look at the pictures.” He kissed Finn lightly, then the top of Logan's head. “We have mirror calls almost four times a week, and yet you two still send me letters every couple of days.”

“We want you to know what's going through our heads,” Logan mumbled.

Leo pulled him tighter to his chest. “I love it more than anything.”

Finn scoffed, pinching his hip. “You don't love it more than us.”

Leo laughed. “That's true.” He closed his eyes. “I love you more than anything that ever has and ever will be.” He yawned, settling into the weight of their bodies and the heat their skin. “Nos da.”

“Good night, loves.”

“Bonne nuit. Je t’aime.”

out of curiosity why are chickens your fav animal? is there a specific reason or do u just like them? another question… who on the lions do u think would have pet chickens

HAHAHAHA this is actually a really funny ask! I had chickens for YEARS growing up, for meat and eggs, and they were basically my pets (we didn't have a dog at the time). They're actually really complex and fun to learn about, in terms of caring for them. All my chickens had names and distinct personalities, right up until they passed away. I was very fond of them and their silly antics! I don't have them anymore, and I have my dog who I love more than anything or anyone, but my dream is to one day have chickens again!

Edit: I DEFINITELY imagine Leo and Thomas having chickens. And I imagine Kuny having a singular one that he keeps as a house pet and takes on walks, lol.

One of my favorite little moments from vaincre is when Leo got visibly flustered at the fact that Finn could pick him up during the scene where they were all hanging out at the pool. Just the fact that he probably thinks he’s too tall or heavy to be picked up and him getting so flustered when Finn did it omg

This is ALSO one of my favorite moments. Great minds, I guess.

As a short human, I identify with Logan in the sense that I love to be picked up. I also identify with Finn in the sense that I also like to pick other people up. Tall people deserve to be carried around, too!

Enjoy our sunshine being carried around a bunch!

All credits to @lumosinlove !!

“You picked me up,” Leo said as the door shut behind them.

“Hm?” Finn asked. He was drying off his hair with a towel. “What’d you say, sunshine?”

“At the pool,” Leo continued. He stripped himself of his swimsuit and pulled on a pair of boxers from his suitcase. “You just- you put me over your shoulder and picked me up.”

Finn finished pulling up his own shorts and grinned at him. “Oh? Did you like that?”

“Well, I’ve never-” Leo started, but was interrupting by a buzzing sound coming from the nightstand. He looked over at where their iPad screen was lit up. “It’s Lo.”

Finn walked over and picked up the tablet, pressing the green button. Logan’s face lit up the screen and Finn smiled. “Hey, gorgeous. How are you?”

“Bien,” Logan replied. “Congrats on the win.”

“Thanks, baby,” Finn said. He sat criss-cross on top of the hotel bed covers. “Did you eat?”

Logan nodded. “Ouais, at Luke’s. We had burgers.” He paused. “Where’s Le?”

Finn gestured with his hand. “Right over here, baby, he’s-” He paused and broke out into a sharp grin. “Are you still thinking about that?”

Leo hadn’t moved since Finn had picked up the phone. His brow was furrowed and his mouth parted in thought as he listened to his boys talk. Logan made a questioning noise through the screen. “Quoi? What’s happening?”

Finn turned to face Logan again, still grinning. “Leo’s all flustered that I picked him up.”

Logan laughed. “Quoi? Soleil?”

Leo shook himself out of his trance and went to sit by Finn. Logan’s face was amused when Leo looked at him. “Sorry, sorry. We just- we went swimming in the hotel pool, and- Sirius and Remus were there.” He jerked his head to Finn. “And then Finn just- he just picked me up and ran and jumped in the pool.”

Logan burst out laughing. “Ouais, that sounds like him. But he picks me up all the time.”

Leo rolled his eyes and could feel his face flushing. “Yeah, but you’re not six-foot-three and two hundred pounds.”

Finn made a noise in the back of his throat. He got on his knees and put his hands on Leo’s thighs to rub gently. His eyes were warm and questioning. “Is that what you’re worried about? Because I can assure you, Logan and I can definitely bench you, sunshine. Throwing you over my shoulder is nothing.”

Logan nodded in agreement. “Ouais, soleil. Next time I see you, I’ll pick you up, too.”

Leo ducked his face shyly. “Well- okay, then.”

“Look at you, all blushing,” Finn cooed. He pressed a burst of kisses to Leo’s cheek. “This is really doing it for you, huh?”

Leo bit his lip around a smile. “Well, I just never thought I’d be with someone who could do that. There aren’t many people who are strong enough to lift someone as big as me.”

“Well, not if they aren’t trying, baby,” Finn said. He knelt his way off the bed and set the iPad further down the bed so Logan could have a wider view. Then, he looked up and beckoned Leo with a hand. “C’mere.”

“What?” Leo asked around a laugh.

“Just come here.”

Leo stood up and walked over to him. Finn wrapped his arms loosely around Leo’s waist and kissed him softly. When they pulled back from one another, his brown eyes were serious. “I don’t care what anyone else has said to you, or what you thought they would say. You’re body is absolutely gorgeous, and we love it very much.”

“Ouais,” came Logan’s voice. Leo looked behind himself to see his eyes were twinkling and they smiled at one another. “The most gorgeous.”

Finn pressed his mouth to Leo’s ear and spoke quickly. “Plus, the perk of dating two athletes is that we can do this.”

Leo yelped slightly as the arms around his waist tightened again and Finn bent down slightly to throw him over his shoulder. Finn’s arms went around his thighs, one hand coming up to pat his butt lovingly. Leo twisted his head up, his neck straining slightly to see Logan laughing through the iPad. “Fish,” he gasped delightedly.

“Gotcha, butter,” Finn said. His voice was light and happy. He was laughing, too. “Gonna carry you like this through the streets of Gryff.”

“No,” Leo protested, but it wasn’t all that convincing.

“Yon,” Finn retorted. Then Leo’s world spun as Finn turned them around. “How’s he look, Tremblay?”

“Gorgeous,” Logan replied. “Viens ici.”

Finn took a step closer towards the bed. Leo gasped as he was flung down off of his shoulder, falling against the springy mattress. Finn straddled him and planted his hands on either side of Leo’s head. His hair flopped down over his face and his teeth were a bright white against his freckled skin. “Gorgeous, gorgeous, baby. I like tossing you around.”

Leo’s smile and giggles scrunched his face as Finn made a big show of kissing his neck sloppily. He turned his head to look at Logan, who was smiling back. Joy bubbled up through his belly and made him lightheaded as he cupped the back of Finn’s head against him.

“I love you,” he laughed. “I love you so much.”

Both of their answering smiles were blinding.

***

“Thank you for surprising me,” Logan said. He had come up to put his hands on Leo’s hips as he wiped the counters. They had just finished the breakfast Finn had brought them. “I like waking up with you in my bed.”

“Us too, sweetheart,” Leo said. He turned to rest his arms over Logan’s shoulders. “You feeling ready for the B’s?”

“Mmhm,” Logan nodded. He pressed closer and rested his chin on Leo’s collarbone, a smile making its way across his face. “I have a surprise for you.”

Leo looked at him, confused. “What? But, you didn’t know we were coming how could you-” He gasped suddenly as Logan gripped him under his thighs and in one smooth motion boosted him up to sit on the counter. He let out a breathless laugh. “Lo…”

“I told you,” Logan said through a mischievous grin. “I told you that the next time I saw you I would pick you up.”

Leo wrapped his legs around Logan’s torso. It felt good to do that, to not be the one who did the lifting, to be the one that got to wrap his limbs around someone else instead of the other way around. “Oh yeah?”

Logan leaned up to kiss him. “Ouais.” He smoothed his hands up and down Leo’s legs. “Hold on.”

“What are you- oh my God.”

Logan had, once again in one movement, grabbed Leo’s thighs and pulled him forward until he was off of the counter, hanging on tightly to Logan. It was a bit awkward, and Leo felt his height acutely, but Logan didn’t seem to mind. In fact, he didn’t even look like he was struggling at all.

“Careful, sweetheart, I don’t wanna hurt-”

Logan scoffed. “You’re not hurting me.” He leaned up to bring their faces closer together. “I bench more than you weigh, remember?”

Leo smiled, smitten. “I remember.”

“Good,” Logan said, satisfied. “Now, to the couch.”

Leo laughed as Logan carried him around the counter and to the living room. Finn chose that moment to come out of the bathroom, amused smile plastered on his face. “What have we here?”

“Leo appreciation,” Logan answered. He squeezed Leo around his thighs and plopped him on the couch, immediately straddling his waist. “We aren’t letting his feet touch the ground all day.”

Finn came to kneel on the ground just to the side of them and looked up. “I can get behind that.” He ran his hands up and down Leo’s thighs and pressed kisses just above his knee. Leo felt warm all over. “These beautiful legs aren’t going to have to work a single second.”

Logan pressed his lips to Leo’s jaw and Leo made a happy sound. Logan grinned against his skin, and Leo was so, so in love with the both of them. “Non. Not a single second."
