I opened it! (Barely… but I did it!)

I’m being bullied by the chocolate pudding cup. The little pull tab thing broke off and I’m not sure if plastic utensil is strong enough to stab it.

First drawing in Clip studio! really liking how it feels to draw but i'm still getting used to the UI.

I like to think that poorer mudwing homes would just slowly merge into a apartment style building with winding hallways, while richer mudwing homes have a planned layout and A LOT of painting on the outside to show off.

For some reason, magenta is definitely Listener’s colour, no questions asked. This is just a fact.

here's my take on listener! I originally wanted to give her huge bat ears to be on brand with the name, but decided against it as they weren't working well with her other features. She gives me really strong magenta vibes, so I changed her color scheme a lot to fit that + added some small pink star markings along her body and wings!

As for her frame, I wanted to really amplify the idea that Listener is tall for her age (As described in the wiki) by giving her longer limbs than some of my other designs. Her tail, head, wings and feet may seem slightly disproportionate: my effort to make her seem more like a kid going through a crazy growth spurt, compared to someone who's just tall. I'm sure Listener grew to be a more functional tall queen into adulthood, but she's definitely a little wobbly right now.

Felt randomly seized by the urge to cat-ify some Hermits while procrastinating an impending deadline.

Not sure how big the Hermits x Warriors cross section is, but here's my gift to the few in the middle lol. I know I'm not the first making this, so apologies if I've unintentionally copied a similar name/colour scheme.

I imagine they were all strays/house cats before they joined Hermitclan, which roams spending seasons at different places. Littlebird is an absolute menace, catching farmer's chickens and Mosspelt is fascinated by horses, using their hair to accessorise (and being teased for it).

I love how they feel little like actual kids! Qibli looks so cool and mischievous, Winter looks aptly apathetic, and Moon looks perfectly nervous. I love the fiery pattern on the underside of Peril's wings and Turtle's big eyes are just adorable! The colour of green you pick for him is also so pleasant to look at oh my gosh. Sea glass green. <3
