I think April is a better surgeon (just by the fact she can improvise on the spot, how she can stay impartial yet empathetic, and doesn’t risk people’s lives for the sake of professional advancement) than Meredith. I love Mer and she’s a great surgeon, but Meredith is more of a researcher and experimenter with procedures, whereas April just wants to save people.

So, one of my favorite moments of any Good Mythical anything is in the More when they have weird soda combinations and one they have has Dr. Pepper, which Link hates. But then he takes this weird moment and has a heart to heart with the camera about pushing back the nasty. I doubt it was scripted and it’s one of those moments that just rings as more sincere for me than anything else, despite the laughter from the crew in the background. And maybe he was playing it for laughs, but I just keep coming back to it when things aren’t feeling ideal. I love this moment.

It's ironic how the poster that they look so in love on, the one for 12x11, they end up torn apart and pretty miserable and for the sequel, they look devastated on the poster but end up in a pretty wonderful and happy place.
