the best example of this (other than mine) that i can think of is beta Xiao and ingame Xiao and i remember before Xiao was called Atlus in game some fics called beta Xiao Atlus and he was a diiiiiick. Viktor Sweeney was the original and inspired by this cunty vampire i made in a picrew on a whim and went "shit hes actually really hot" so i give him a whole personality and hes a DICK which was the intention because ooo hot sexy vampire. Main difference (other than personality) is that og Viktor was the son of irish imigrants who came to the US in the early 1900's and was very 20's-30's styled. he also lived in the great lakes area which i cant explain why but it just feels right to place him there
