It might be a long shot but I just watched the new Haunted Mansion movie and was thinking about doing an rp based off of it! I would love to play a ghost torturing their newly moved in guest, but I’m fully down for doubling up if you’d like to be a ghost too! I’m even down for a plot involving two ghosts or maybe two residents or ghost hunters dealing with the haunted mansion. I can even try my hand at roleplaying the hatbox ghost/alistair crump if you’re more invested in that character against yours.

I’m also willing to incorporate nsfw or 🕊too but those aren’t going to be the focus for me personally.

The Horned King Marriage Headcannons

I think, after he manages to recover from the revelation that yes, you BOTH want to tie the knot and he's not daydreaming in a cellar full of skeletons right now, I think he would want two ceremonies.

The first ceremony is for the kingdoms.

He IS a royal and a threat at large to his neighbours - guests are not invited so much as made at sword point to attend. Those that dawdle or don't show are next on the invasion list.

Your chosen guests/family get a distinctively less threatening welcome but he won't stand for even well meaning questioning of your union. So , uh, warn them beforehand k?

He would want you to match. It's a wedding and coronation in one, a second throne atop the dias securing your position as Queen.

I don't know who the Fuck would officiate this or even condone it, but any alterations or plans you have are gladly accepted. He's never done this before, what even is tradition, send help.

He spends months pouring over his vows. He does not take this lightly.

It’s holiday season which means there will be a lot of impulse bought pets that will get abandoned right after the party ends. That’s a very blunt and sad statement but sadly it’s incredibly true and if you work in rescue or in any sort of animal shelter you’re probably already preparing for this upcoming time.

My rescuer friends are preparing for literally hundreds of cats and dogs in January, not even counting the smaller pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnys, etc. Last year one of them had 600 hamsters in January… 600. And no, that’s not from all across the country, that’s just in his city. He had bunnys in shoeboxes thrown over their fence at night and a pregnant guinea pig in the trash bin,

That’s why i’m asking you: When you take out the trash and there’s a closed cardboard box (or straight up a pet cage) that rustles please take a few seconds of your time to open it and look inside. When you see a nervous dog tied up somewhere, wait a few minutes and if no owner comes contact somebody (police, local shelter).

Thrax sits outside his house, watching the snow fall. There was still a lot to do, halloween, finishing construction, the Rite of Reversal, hopefully.. His eyes glaze over in thought as he sits there, so much that he doesn’t notice someone approaching him. 

Just one peaceful night || The Horned King x GN! Reader

A/N: Reading a lot of stuff from The horned king and watching the movie some days ago i really wanted to write something for him too, and bc he is an amazing villain that i’m glad there’s stuff about him. ((It's not following the movie story, but Taran and friends still looking for the black cauldron)).

The dark and gloomy weather like every day, afternoon and evening, had something that called to you from the very first moment, your friends when they told them about how you were drawn to be in the palace and meet it, they knew it was not going to end well or they lectured you about how it was too dangerous and that you were crazy to want to go to your certain death.

 How wrong they were

That dark and gloomy palace is what you call your home now, where you enjoyed wandering around lost, each time finding a new place that you had no idea of, but today you focus on the landscape in front of you.

You were on the balcony of your room, enjoying the nothingness itself, but the breeze that hit your face from time to time, leaving you in a world of thoughts in which you were getting lost little by little and forgetting the presence behind you staring at you.

"My love..."

With almost a small jump at the sudden voice, you turned to see your beloved king, who stood outside the balcony waiting to know if he was allowed to spend this night by your side.

You beckoned him to come to you, and slowly he stood close to your side, leaving you a space so as not to smother you with his presence.

"My king, there you are, i was looking for you everywhere, but creeper told you were too busy to see anybody... i didn't wanted to disturb you"

So creeper told you that? to you? his treasure?, his only real heart?, his lovely partner? oh that little parasite is gonna get it later for sure, he just doesn't say anything, he don't need to

You gave him a little smile as you played with your hands for a while. He knew you really meant it. You didn't want to bother him, knowing that those kids, animal and that old man are still looking for the black cauldron.

"I thought it was clear to you that you are the only person in this world who can come whenever you want, your presence never bothered me, and it wouldn't bother me now".

You knew he was getting closer and it was what you wanted, that he wasn't afraid to be near you, you talked about it several times, how you could end up with someone like him, at first He thought it was just an act of yours to escape the first few times you fell in the kingdom, but your words were genuine.

"I know, but with the whole situation with that boy and his friends, I can only imagine the discomfort you were feeling."

"My angel..."

He reached out his hand, hoping to hold yours and feel your warmth that makes him feel more alive every day, so that he could stand in front of you, staring at you.

"You are not a mere human or thing that walks around these dirty old walls, you are my queen/king/Majesty, that giving me your presence every second of every day is spoiling me too much".

Joining your hand with his, you leaned your head against him to listen to the emptiness inside him, that your mind created a non-existent heartbeat.

"Promise me, that I can hold you closer to me longer, and not suffer from the desire to hold you close to me when I need you the most."

Looking up at him and grabbing his face to get a good look at it, you smiled at him.

"I promise, my Kin-"

"SIRE! SIRE, WE HAVE NEWS FOR YOU"

Creeper rushed in and the horned king didn't even turn around to see him, as his bad mood was beginning to rise.

First, those incompetent men couldn't stop Taran and his friends.

"SIRE!!!"

Second, not being able to have you around, because someone decided to lie to your face, and leave you alone, waiting for his company.

"SIRE! Are you listening...?"

and NOW that somebody, ruin his peaceful evening with his lover, the only moment when he can hold you and feel every part of you, the way he wants

Turning around, he grabbed the creeper by the neck.

"I hope this is good news"

"Yes SIRE! We fOund the pIG bO-"

He let go, dropping him.

"Warn the men, and bring him in at once"

"YeS Sire!! wait here!"

He waited for the door to slam shut and turned to focus on you again, bringing you close to him again.

"I hope you will join me in welcoming our guests, if you're not too tired"

"Of course I will, My king, but we can stay here a while longer until they arrive, can't we?"

"You know I could not refuse such a proposal to stay by your side any longer."

As the men and Creeper rushed out to grab Taran and his friends, you waited beside his majesty, cuddled together enjoying the moment and sharing certain words from time to time

They could wait, but his desire to have you and hear you did not, he still knew that you would succeed, and he could give you a reign worthy of the two of you.
