"A submarine has gone missing" : Oh jeeze, I hope they find those people.
"A submarine visiting the wreck of the titanic has gone missing" : Well, that's a little ghoulish but I can't blame folks for a morbid curiosity, especially at a monument to white man's hubris.
"An experimental cobbled together submarine visiting the wreck of the titanic has gone missing" : Well at this point y'all were just taking your lives into your own hands and also how is 'slapped together submarine' a legal thing that's real.
"An experimental cobbled together submarine full of the absurdly wealthy visiting the wreck of the titanic has gone missing" : Okay now this just feels a little too on point someone has to be joking with me.
Celestial Mechanics, a new beer label for Heirloom Rustic Ales, to celebrate their three year anniversary!
Ok tumblr is the spot for beer labels
I originally just wanted to create it as a sequel to my previous Drukhari picture but as I kept going this idea that it would na a cool beer label popped up. So here it is:)
How do you like it? Should I do one for Sisters of Battle and Orkz as well?

TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY (1991)
Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The terminator would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.
For some reason, my ADHD brain decided to hyperfixate on Gorochu recently, and what a missed opportunity it was. Since Pichu basically robbed it of its potential place in Pikachu's evolutionary line, there's no realistic way for Gorochu to be reintroduced into the franchise without coming up with some brand new unnecessary game mechanic or something.
But then I started thinking "What if Gorochu was a brand new Pokémon altogether?" And I don't mean like another Pikaclone. This is Gorochu we're talking about, it deserves something better. I'm thinking a Mythical/Legendary Pokémon with a clear connection to Pikachu akin to Diancie and Carbink.
The lore would go something like this:
"Gorochu, the Thunder Mouse Pokémon. Legend has it Gorochu was once an ordinary Pikachu that was transformed after being struck by lightning from Arceus. Everywhere Gorochu goes, terrible thunderstorms follow as it drums its tail against the ground to psych itself up for battle. As the most powerful Electric-Type in the world, not even Thundurus, Zapdos, or Zekrom can stand up to its might."
I think it's a pretty cool concept even if it probably will never come to pass. At the very least I'd settle for a Convergent Pokémon. (Sigh) But a man can dream.
The process of making these is:
Collect comics and beer labels, put the beer label on a piece of paper. (Peel it off while can is full)
Find comics and beer labels with similar themes or colors. This takes a while and involves comic book shopping.
Cut out comics into fun shapes.
To put it together I drink a ton of beer with my wife and sister listen to classic rock and do blow. It makes it a fun process and seems to dial in the art itself. Outlaw country!!!
