mirelakohler:
“The Exorcist for sure! Or any other movie based on real facts actually. It’s not like they are my favorite at all, they just scare me the most, and at the same time those are last type of movies that I’ve watched lately”
“You know what is very surprising? That true crime documentaries aren’t considered horror movies because those are real facts anyway.”
ASTROLOGY AESTHETICS | cancer
cancers are remarkably good at accumulating things; indeed, they can be unwilling to throw anything out, even relationships that have passed their use-by date. they are generally over-anxious in financial matters, and make great efforts to gather in money; as a rule, they have unusual ups and downs in their early life and so they are compelled to work to keep ahead, but once they get on their feet they keep there. if channeled in the right direction, their enormous sensitivity can become a great source of strength. once they overcome their touchiness and master their turbulent emotions, their intellect and imagination enable them to become a success in almost anything they undertake.

charliethemidwife:
It was the perfect Saturday night in Charlie’s mind. Laurel was hanging onto her side which, brought instant comfort. The band was loud, but they two always spoke closely, making sure there was never room between them. Describing what Laurel meant to Charlie was always complicated, yet when they were together it all felt so simple. “Well I of course dressed with you in mind.” Placing the woman’s hand further up her shirt, just so she could feel her bare breasts. No one ever saw these moments. Charlie hid the most intimate gestures, so that only Laurel could see and feel. All of me was dressed with you in mind.” A smirk rose on her lips as she twirled around.
Finally, she faced the girl and placed her lips near Laurel’s ear. “The only person I will be going home with is you.” She then lightly bit the girls ear and kissed the side of her face. “Have I told you yet how much I missed you?”
Laurel licked her lips as her fingers skittered over Charlie’s skin, smirking as she fully palmed her breast. To be desired, to be wanted--was the most sensual sensation she could experience. And no matter where she turned, she knew that Charlie would want her. Perhaps it’s why she allowed herself to stay by her side for so long. To be wanted consistently by one person was a satisfactory substitution to be desired by the right one. “I’d rather you show me than tell me.” She nuzzled her nose deeper into her neck, lips grazing Charlie’s collarbone. She wrapped her arms around her waist fully, letting her body gravitate toward the dance floor. “Dance with me,” she insisted, “Then I’ll let your body do the talking.”
kirby-powell:
kirby was finally relieved to get off of work. as anyone who needed a place to go the went to the bar. they had spent far to long on their feet. their makeup was breaking up and smudging a bit from wearing it all day long. this might not have been kirby’s finest look, but they didn’t care. at this hour, who were they trying to impress? they let out a long drawn out sigh. “i can’t believe my counter manager told me this.” kirby started, before taking a sip from his cocktail. “she took issue with the fact that to many of my costumers returned the makeup i sold them.” they shook their head, with a smirk on their lips. “i mean, once they own it i can’t do shit.” this was the little things in life that really irked them.
laurel pouted in sympathy to kirby’s disdain. she could see how exhausted they were from the smudged mascara underneath their eyes. she reached out to do her best to wipe it away. regardless of the legitimacy of kirby’s job, she didn’t envy it one bit. it was stories like that she appreciated her underground business. “honestly some higher-ups don’t understand what it’s like to be a service worker. i’m pretty happy i work at a Moms-and-Pops establishment.” laurel wrapped her lips around her skinny metal straw deep into her tequila sunrise. “if it wasn’t for my little issue, i would definitely suggest that we start our own little beauty business.”
aubreypce:
“i got an email last night from a parent and it was WILD!” aubrey tells the other, she’d had to re-read the email a few times just to understand what the parent wanted, she was gobsmacked. “his kid is failing my class, so he wants me to give her a C? for no reason at all” .
laurel scoffed and rolled her eyes at the parent’s demand, only laughing slightly because of aubrey’s incredulous tone. “fucking milennials, am i right?” she leaned over to read the text. “how do you deal with the burden of helicopter parents?” she asked, memories flashing before her eyes of her own.
eevee: you. me. Pitch Perfect moviethon!
laurel: please don't let this be your way in asking me to start an acapella group with you
laurel remembered spending a day’s worth of her paycheck just to buy a sturdy and worthy hard hat with a light mount specifically reasoning that it would be absolutely necessary for hers and roman’s cave explorations. they had yet to find any buried treasure but it was more about the moment and experience than the actual discovery. “after all, isn’t what we discover about ourselves at the end what it’s really about?” she murmured to herself. she turned to the doctor with a smirk. “remember, wear your hard hat anywhere but your head.”
Rory: A FAN. THAT IS GAY. WITH RIBBONS ON IT TO MAKE HIM SMILE
Laurel: There's a certain courtesy protocol when asking someone to put ribbons on them, you know that, right babycakes?
