Insane butterfly man, wife haunting the narrative, and their magical child who is the catalyst for both of their deaths
Yes, I decided to post twice today, because why not.
#My boss took my glasses and Im too shy to tell him
Low quality Chat Noir doodle to escape my responsibilities
i hope this is cool
anyway i think the similarities to chat blanc and revelator are supepeprrrr cool and adrien and alya friendship should happen
i could probably put all the similarities i found or whatever i dont know but im also LAZY, maybe ill make a post about it later
I just watched El Toro de Piedra ! the animation seems to be even better in this episode ? I'd say it's on par with Climatiqueen which only excites me for what's coming next !!
The letter Gabriel addressed to Adrien broke my heart, I understand why Marinette didn't show it. I don't know if it's the best way to explain to him everything, especially since he doesn't express any regret in that letter about what he has done...The audacity to tell Adrien he should also pursue the miraculous lol ? But I feel like Adrien's getting closer to learning the truth
We also got a better understanding of the layout of his room. So the top floor is where he's supposed to sleep but since he's still figuring things out he didn't organise it yet.
I also love how this ep was constructed, the pacing was really good. First, the obvious parallel between Ivan and Adrien and their fathers. But also the fight sequence happening simultaneously with Juleka's song. They gave character dev/depth to not only Ivan but also Juleka, her singing was beautiful and I'm fully in love with her new look <3
ALSO can we talk about THE END SEQUENCE ? TF is that illuminati looking group ?? NATHALIE'S STILL EVIL ?? Look at thiiis
But it also makes sense, it was actually hinted and explains why Tomoe was collaborating with Gabriel. I remember her telling Gabriel in intuition "I want a better world".
But this also means that now we've got multiple grown ass billionaires beefing with Ladybug and Chat noir. Do you think Lila/Cerise is collaborating with them (which would bring her funding and support) as well, or is she working alone ?

i was trying to make a meme but i fucked up the audio layering and
I love personalization. I love stickers on water bottles and on laptops. I love shitty marker drawing on the toes of converse. I love hand embroidered doodles on jeans. I love posters on walls. I love knick knacks on shelves. I love jewelry with goofy charms. I love when people take things and make them theirs.
So real, I needed more of Adrien's inner monologue so badly that I'm doing it myself now 👩🦯 Adrien and his mess of a family are a current obsession of mine
I just feel like the writers don't understand that girl power doesn't mean making every male character of the show insignificant. Marinette still could've been the cool super OP protagonist without having Adrien be so robbed of screen time (like in Star vs the forces of evil, Star is the most important character of the show, but Marco gets his moments as well and is not deprived of his agency)
But don't get me wrong I still enjoy Miraculous, and I think the 6th season is actually pretty solid for now. I like it for what it is, but I also enjoy expanding on it !

The knights' story tells us that they have to make a choice between revealing their identities and staying together, or not revealing their identities and keeping their powers. I think many of you will have seen the parallels with the lovesquare, but not only...
The scene where Marc and Nath reveal their identities is a parallel to the Ephemeral episode where Marinette and Adrien also reveal their identities. I have a feeling that the curse of revealing identities gone wrong doesn't just apply to the love square, but to the other miraculous holders as well.
I've been trying to work a bit on my own au/rewrite of miraculous, like just writing the general themes of it.
And one of the things I wanna focus on is Marinette and Adrien having some sort of identity crisis. I want their super hero alter ego to accentuate their insecurities and to slowly overtake their everyday life. It would manifest for different reasons and in different ways, but the idea is still the same.
I mean, imagine being 15 (already very confusing age) and everyday you get to transform into a bigger, stronger, cooler version of yourself. I'd like them to experience a distortion/fragmentation of self, being unable to recognize who they truly are anymore, body image issues... Idk would be pretty neat. Still need to work on how I'd show that visually tho
