There were a lot of things a person could lose themselves to in this world. Drugs and alcohol were dangerous but nothing compared to Sirius Blacks drink of choice. Out of all the things a man could get lost in, Remus Lupin was the only one that mattered to him. Merlin knows he tried to resist the temptation, he really did try. But, Sirius was a weak man when it came to Remus, he always had been. At the end of all of this, he’d always known he didn’t stand a chance against his desire for Moony. He’d always been fighting against something. First his parents, then Regulus, and now his feelings for Remus. Sirius was done fighting for once. He was recognising his defeat, and for the first time he was fine with it.
