I drew this one a while back, it took me forrreeverrrr, but I can share it here finally

I spent a little bit of time looking for Dante’s car in the dmc anime and thanks to my friend who’s a car guy, he found one that’s remotely similar to the one in the anime the glorious Austin Healey 3000 Red

Let me tell yeah it was hell drawing the car so I high key traced a photo of it, to really understand where the fuck certain parts were supposed to go, I definitely used the photo too much but honestly I liked the background in it so I did a recreation of it. To the best of my ability.

Nero actually has the most Brooding Love Interest In A YA Romance Novel vibes. he's surly and rude to everyone except his girl, who he idolizes. he's rebellious against your religion/cult, but in a way that manages to channel your god's best traits. he's a bad boy but doesn't smoke or drink or anything, just listens to his music really loud and swears. he keeps running into sexy lady demons but doesn't pay them any attention bc he loves you so much. he's part demon and really angsty about it and needs your tender reassurance.

i know there was a whole pack of highly repressed Fortuna church girls who had massive crushes on Nero, but Nero never realized because he was too in love with Kyrie.

I do think it's really impressive how Dante is able to feel like a consistent and well thought out character with a good progression despite how vastly different he can be. From full depression and emo to whacky woohoo pizza man, and none of it really feels that out of place once you've played all the games and experienced some supplemental material. Especially in 4 where you can see him recover his whimsy in real time once he realizes he has a nephew.
