Discothéque Space Capsule - Roppongi, Tokyo (1968)

Underground nightclub designed by Kisho Kurokawa. The floors, walls, and ceilings are all constructed of reflective stainless steel. The ceiling is covered with computer-controlled tri-color lights and a ‘television chandelier’, with each TV tuned to a different channel. A stage in the center is used for fashion shows, avant-garde productions and poetry readings.

Another great example of 1960s-1970s space-age futurism influencing the later Y2K style in the 90s.
