okay but the trinity all representing hope in complimentary ways
batman is the hope of healing. of being better. the hope of, "this is terrible but i can make it better." the hope of "i am in the dark place, but there is a light in the darkness." the city is broken, some would say irreparably so, but that story isn't over.
superman is the hope of goodness. there ARE good people and they WILL do the right thing. clark is superman because that is the natural extension of who he is as a person. holding helping the old lady across the street is the right thing to do. saving the person trapped in a burning building it the right thing to do. its the same, if you have the means to do good, do it.
wonder woman is the hope of change. the second opinion on the state of humanity going "i can work with this." she works with the UN, she acts as a peacekeeper and she tries to make the world better for people because she, completely, honestly, believes they can change
Mexico when Texans have to start crossing the border for a better life good heathcare
From my dash alone I wouldn’t know that Jared is even a part of this announcement
“People think that Clark is Bruce's sugar baby” WRONG. People think that Clark is his personal assistant because Clark spends every minute of his existence next to Bruce in a clerk's suit. He never wears a badge for a newspaper representative because he has a personal pass to every building owned by WE. He constantly takes notes while Bruce whispers in his ear. He brings Bruce coffee at charity events because Bruce doesn't maintain any human-like sleep schedule. He spends most of his spare time in Bruce's office. Half of the staff knows him by name and discusses work gossip with him. When they go public, the board of directors asks Clark to sign papers confirming that Bruce didn't abuse his power to start dating him. Clark just laughs at them.
After having the conversation multiple times about how many people (myself included) had stopped writing for years until the Sandman on Netflix came along and grabbed us by the neck.
And after watching the screaming reactions to Good Omens season 2, (and all the meta and analysis and thoughts about plot structure, and suggestions for what makes sense for season 3.)
I have decided that Neil Gaiman's secret agenda is not the screaming or the angst.
I think his secret agenda is to make us all WRITE.
having depression makes your friends seem like the coolest most put together people on earth like wow... you got out of bed, had breakfast, went to work, AND spent some time on a hobby when you got home....? that's so impressive you're like superman or something. can i borrow your power.
It’s safe to assume I’m always thinking about Castiel
it is absolutely essential to have friends you can have extremely insane pervert conversations with. this is kind of what makes life worth living
good omens 2 is genuinely so funny. it's like a good omens/crossover fandom fic got turned into a whole 6 hours of television. crowley and aziraphale kissed and then immediately broke up. the main plot of the show revolves around trying to get two lesbians together jane austen style. half the runtime is dedicated to random historical flashbacks of crowley and aziraphale homosexually interacting. they got rid of every single one of the straight couples. it's canon compliant to the bible
