It was a warm afternoon, and the sun was high in the sky, its warm rays illuminating the many stained glass windows of the grand Chester castle, casting a rainbow of colours inside.

Outside, you and your Chespin friends were competing to see who could kick the ball the farthest. It was now your turn, so you arched your leg and kicked the ball hard, sending it flying straight into the woods.

"Ha, looks like I win!"

You cheered and stuck your tongue out, to which the Chespin frowned and stuck out theirs before giggling. As you went and walked over to pick up the ball, you stopped at the woods' entrance, looking inside.

Were the woods really that scary? Your father warned you about the dangers of the wild Pokemon living in there, but you didn't believe him because you were the Prince, and no Pokemon would attack a member of the royal Chester family.

Feeling the urge to go inside and prove your father wrong, you tossed aside the ball and began entering the area.

"Chespin!"

The Chespin stopped you just as you were about to enter, but they weren't stopping you because it was dangerous.

"Chespin Ches!"

They wanted to accompany you and see what was inside as well. Giving them a smile, you all went into the woods, ready to face whatever was in there.

"My dad told me I shouldn't go in here, but I don't care, I'm a big kid!"

you said to the Chespin as you walked along a dirt path. The inside was quiet, with thick trees reaching high into the sky, it was ideal for Flying and Bug Pokemon to nest.

So far, so good; no Pokemon were attacking you! So you were safe, right?

Nope.

A wild Pangoro was lurking nearby, hiding itself in the darkness. He saw the group entering earlier and waited for the perfect time to strike.

One of the Chespin could feel the presence of the large Pokemon and came to a halt to warn you and the others. You assumed they were just joking and continued on walking until you saw something coming straight towards you.

"PANGORO!"

You yelled and scrambled behind the Chespin, who tried their best to protect you by attacking the Pangoro with Vine Whip, but it was no use. None of the attacks had any effect on it.

"Quick, let's get out of here!"

You then dashed towards the exit, or what you thought was the exit. You then realised you were lost and began to panic.

"Oh no, I'm lost, t-this can't be happening."

You all tried to hide behind some trees, but that didn't help either as Pangoro already got your scent. Dropping to your knees in defeat, you took a deep breath, and yelled at the top of your lungs.

"CHESNAUGHT! PLEASE HELP ME!"

Back at the castle, Chesnaught was looking outside for you and his students, but he couldn't find anyone. Then he heard a loud echo from deep within the woods.

"Ches...? Chesnaught!"

It sounded like your voice and that you were in trouble. He quickly dashed towards the woods, gritting his teeth and praying to Arceus that he wasn't too late to save you.

Meanwhile, you and the Chespin were backed up into a corner, shaking with fear as the Pangoro got closer and closer to you.

"Pangoro..."

It said with an angry look as it prepared to use its Hammer Arm attack. You squeezed your eyes shut, convinced that Chesnaught didn't hear you and that he couldn't come to your save you and the Chespin in time.

Until...

"CHESNAUGHT!"

Whack.

The Pangoro was then slammed hard into some trees by a flash of green and brown, It then fought the mad Pokemon until it became too weak to fight back and fled.

After the fight, you removed your arms from your face and looked up to see that it was Chesnaught. You immediately got up and hugged him tightly, grinning and now teary eyed.

"Chesnaught! I-I'm really sorry, please don't tell Dad..."

Chesnaught froze at the hug, but closed his eyes and smiled, gently picking you up in his strong arms and held you close. Now out of the woods, Chesnaught told his students that he needed to be alone with the Prince and that he would speak with them later. The Chespin nodded, excused the two, and went inside the castle.

He sat down on the grass and looked down at you to see if you were hurt. You wiped your eyes and looked up, assuring him that everything was fine and you weren't hurt and nuzzled yourself deeper into his arms. Chesnaught smiled once more and placed his head on top of yours, relieved that you were safe and sound.

💙: I've been watching Pokemon Journeys and I love Gengar so much <3

crowds, the need to talk with others, and being judged made this Trainer's social anxiety go up

but that's when their Service Pokemon partner Gengar comes into help

while Gengar are known to be very mischievous and enjoy playing practical jokes and casting curses, this Gengar was none of those things as he was trained to help people instead

It took their trainer some time to get used to the fact that a large ghost was assigned as their Service Pokemon

they were afraid that people would judge them and tell them that they should get someone more suitable, such as an Arcanine or Herdier

but slowly they got used to Gengar and soon enough the two became close

Gengar was always by his trainer's side, keeping a watchful eye out in case something was bothering them

when something did happen, he was quick to react by distracting them by calming them down and guiding them to a quiet place, such as a park

since they were in town, they would go to a park and sit somewhere away from people until their trainer felt better

the one they went to had a cute Ducklett pond too

one thing that seemed to always help was Gengar's cuddles

and with this Gengar being a very cuddly ghost, he was never short of ghost hugs

he'd gently wrap his arms around their trainer and let them rest there for as long as they wanted

If they do accompany you to your classes, you had find a way to disguise them from the other humans, especially the teachers and principal

a hat and a baggy trenchcoat seem to work

however, when students saw through their disguise, they thought they were the coolest looking bug things ever

you'd think they'd freak out at the sight of two bugs that were the height of your weist

but when you weren't studying for hours, you and your buggy partners would hang around at home playing video games like Animal Crossing, read some books, or do some baking

well, try to do some baking

Kokuwamon and Tentomon would occasionally eat the cookie dough or cake mixture before you could even put it on the tray or bowl

speaking of eating, they loved trying any human food they can get their hands on

Tentomon enjoyed trying different flavours of noodles, while Kokuwamon enjoyed sushi from the local sushi bar

when it came to movies, they always chose anything sci-fi or action related

Tentomon secretly like romance films but hasn't told you because it makes him feel embarrassed

for special occasions such as Christmas, you wanted to make each one memorable for them

such as giving them small but cool gifts for Christmas like their own scarf or seeing who can carve the best-looking Pumpmon on Halloween

Oh, and unless you want to sleep with no blankets or pillow, don't share a bed with two Digimon

Kokuwamon and Tentomon are heavy sleepers and blanket hoggers

but besides that, you loved your Digimon
