First Ship: i joined tumblr in 2017 for BoTW Zelink and all of my fandom experience spiralled from here. i started playing LoZ games before that though, maybe 2008? and there was a fanfic tab (though it wasn't called like that) on the help website i used

“Hey, sorry I missed your calls everything okay?”, Kenma asked into the phone, you had called him about five times.

“No everything’s not okay”, you replied, sounding freaked out.

“What’s wrong?”, he was about two minutes from your shared apartment and had a feeling you’d be fine but was still worried nonetheless.

“The powers out!”, you practically squealed into the phone. He was quiet for a minute, trying to fight off the laugh threatening to make its way out of his mouth. “Kenma do not laugh at me”

“I’m not laughing”, he argued, parking in the car garage and quickly making his way to your level.

“But your about to”,

“Are you really scared of the dark?”, you scoffed and he could practically see you rolling your eyes.

“I’m not scared. I just don’t like it”, chuckling, he nodded, making his way to the door.

“You don’t have to lie to me”, before you could argue back he hung up, unlocking the door and finding you pacing in the kitchen with every single candle you own lit.

Looking around he raised his eyebrows at you. “It’s not even dark”, glaring at him, you walked over, wrapping your arms around his waist.

“It’s still freaky”, you mumbled, pinching his hip as he lightly laughed at you.

“What do you expect me to do?”, he asked, which caused you to start laughing,

“Honestly I don’t know, should’ve called kuroo to come over”, all humor in his expression faded.

“You’re not funny”, looking at his face you laughed,

“Just a little funny”,

“You know what’ll be funny?”, you hummed in response, raising an eyebrow at him. “Me leaving you here alone”,

“Funny till I call ku-“, before you could even finish your statement he let go of you and started walking towards the front door, laughing, you hugged him from behind, pulling him into you.

“Stopp”, turning his head he playfully glared at you,

“Done making jokes?”, nodding you smiled at him, turning around he wrapped his arms around you again, leaning forward to kiss you softly. He was about to say something when his phone buzzed, grabbing for it he checked his messages then groaned,

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me”

Kuroo: DUDE!!! MY POWER JUST WENT OUT :0 CAN I COME OVER???
