???'s tactic to make people grind for more golden skull necklaces I see
!Spoiler for Relics of the Old Faith!
??? will still give him to you as part of the reward after freeing the Bishops.
certified trophy wife moment
One important thing to notice is that this Narinder does NOT have the "immortal" trait like his counterpart which you spare after the boss fight.
This could just be a glitch, but if it's not, it may imply that Lamb is able to strip away other gods' immortality through bringing death to them, and if we choose to spare Narinder, he has never actually died and thus is able to keep his immortality.
So my theory? The Bishops were originally immortal too, just like TOWW, until they were slain by us.

It's probably just me but there seems to be a similarity between TOWW & Kallamar and the cat twins? Like the weapon shapes, the contrasting personality, one of each pair of brothers having a scar on one eye and all that :p
(spoiler!)
there is a chance that you find them in a room during a regular crusade after returning them to Forneus, it looks something like this,
I won't spoil further about the actual interaction but you do meet them again after the whole quest
New RELICS OF THE OLD FAITH dialogue for Aym and Baal
Spoilers below.
Master! Aym? What is this place?"
"So much color... so many creatures..."
"...master?"
The first thing he does is call out to TOWW and Aym and that makes me so soft🥺. But his next line is an eye opener for me. "So much color.." Has he has never been outside of the the Gateway?! I know the twins were given to TOWW as children but it never clicked that they WOULDN'T remember their time on the surface. "So many creatures..." Same as before the twins don't remember their time on the surface. It's only been the twins and TOWW for a very long time. It's a wonder they remember Forneus at all...
"Back! Stay back! I will slice your belly open! I will cut that crown from your head!" "What foul place is this? Moments ago I was... I was..."
This man went full "get back you savages" lmao. Also way more violent than his brother, then again it seems as though Aym was reliving his final moments whereas his brother was not. "What foul place is this?" Rude Aym that's our temple. He seems less disoriented by the new scenery and more of the sudden change of location. "Moments ago I was... I was..."
The thing about Aym and Baal is how did they end up where they were. Their revival is completely unlike the resurrection ritual and is the reverse of the sacrifice ritual. It appears as though the twins were sacrificed and we trade two of our followers to take their place. It makes you wonder: where do the sacrifices go? Because we never see any in the gateway, TOWW only ever references them as having been done in his honor. Their souls go somewhere else and not to him.
While I am happy we get the resolution of Forneus reuniting with her sons, i sorta wish there was more 'substance' to it, ya know. From what I can find there are no interactions between the twins with TOWW or the Lamb. And the twins vanish from the game after being reunited with Forneus. We never learn anything about them. Even with the new content.
Hey so it's come to my attention that the Creators of Disco Elysium want you to share the game and not give the company who took over and fired them (illegally)?) any profits off of their ideas and work, and I originally joined tumblr 2 weeks ago when that post was going around about the Steam sale and how you should [Skull and Crossbones flag] it instead.
So.
in light of that.

I was informed that posts containing links in them aren't findable in the search so i'll just.... drop a link in a seperate reboot :)

Hello! I really liked your post with sci-fi recommendations that aren't just books by misogynistic men. There are some books on the list already but do you happen to have a list of recs just for novels about robots/androids/AI? Preferably where they are the protagonist? No worries if not! Thanks
augh see i love robots/AIs but i have not read NEARLY enough books w them as main characters 😔 i can name a couple u might wanna check out tho!
klara and the sun by kazuo ishiguro (standalone, from the POV of a nanny robot taking care of a sick girl) is pretty interesting, esp in regards to the idea of robots having their own mythos and superstitions. v slow and thoughtful (tho a bit too uneventful for my tastes)
ted chiang has a couple good short stories about robots - exhalation (found in the short story collection of the same name) is a personal fav of mine! (there's also the novella "the lifecycle of software objects" - in same collection - but while i adore most of his stuff i really didn't like that one lol)
if u like YA, def check out the scorpion rules by erin bow (the prisoners of peace duology)! honestly on most levels it's a pretty average dystopian YA book, but then it also happens to have one of THEE most interesting and complex explorations of posthumanism through AI i've ever seen??? like not even in YA, in general (esp in book 2, it's not a major plot until the end of book 1)
if you're interested in the classics at all, i do recommend Asimov's short story collection I, Robot! it was surprisingly fun and it was cool seeing where the iconic 3 laws of robotics thing originated :)
also. i can link u to my own robot/AI tbr list knfdkgjfn
classic scifi novels by men r always like. page 1 here's a cool scifi idea i had. page 2 i hate women so much it's unreal
