is it just me or do we think the curtis brothers were scared to get inside cars after their parents' death, so they just walked everywhere for a bit

also do we think that when soda's repairing a car, he stops to remember his parents and how frightened they must have been

and do we think that whenever darry is about to drive across a railroad, he stops the car, looks both ways, and holds his breath while he proceeds cautiously

(or r u just happy and never have depressive thoughts when it comes to the outsiders skfkls)
