How would you rank the Trolls villains? Is one easier to write than others?

Oooo I really don’t know how to rank them? Danger levels? Evil levels?! IDK! I’m sorry, I really don’t know how to rank them, but I will say what I like about each one!

Creek was really fun to write, because I was given a chance to build up his character from a young age! Early teasings of him being an actual psychopath, building the mystery, the works! And Chef was just brutal, so writing the violence of her, mixed in with Creek was just MWAH! Satisfying to my twisted little soul.

But Barb was also just a fun character to write, I loved that I got to hype her up to be this merciless villain… Just for her to not be like that at all. I really liked her struggle, the different pov she had, and the very real conflict! And I love writing her lines, she has some really good ones!

As for Velvet and Veneer… I’m am VERY excited to show you all my plans for them! They are going to be fun villains for sure😈

ME NEITHER IM SO HYPE

You know how people feel about new years with the “and with that we wrap up year 2024” or etc. that is how I feel about finshing movie two. Like ah it has it all, drama, tears, deeply traumatic nightmare fuel experiences, and a budding friendship that will began to mend the shredded mental state of one Johnathan Dory.

I’m glad you’re taking a rest because (idk if you’ve noticed) you’ve basically been publishing twice a week. Like I’m pretty sure your last update was Sunday or Tuesday so you’ve been going at it like a trouper!

Also AAAAAA I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! HE THOUGHT FLOYD WAS FAKE OH GOD THATS AWESOME!! ohhh is he still going to instigate the search and rescue for the brothers??? It would be so fun if like branch did it instead because he’s all like ‘you hide secrets from me imma do it to you’. Like I know he won’t because of poppy’s influence but it could be fun!

Answering this on the literal YEAR since the first chapter was posted does make it feel WILD! So many fun things during and much more to come, I’m so excited!

Oof, yeah twice a week baby! Pair that with how my chapters just keep getting longer and longer, my typin’ fingers are on FIRE! I defo need a little break, so I can come back stronger than ever! …Omg I forgot of was “Great Decisions” one year anniversary today.

Holy heck, I can’t believe it’s been A YEAR since I started posting chapters! This is by far the longest fanfic I have ever written, and it’s crazy how far, and how much this story has grown! And all the love for it has been AMAZING, and I can’t get over how much you all love this as much as I do!

So I just wanted to come on here and say, THANK YOU! To all of you! The support you’ve given me has just been amazing, and I absolutely love reading your comments, hearing your theories, feeling your ups and downs along with the characters, and of course, seeing people inspired by my work to make their own works of art! I never thought when I fell into the Trolls fandom that I’d find such a loving community, but here we are!

So thanks to you guys for following me, and our lovely John Dory, through this journey of his many, many decisions (The good, and the bad!). I can’t wait to get into the third movie, and soon, the end! I hope I can continue to give y’all all the thrills, laughs, and of course, ANGST! I will do my very darndest!

I don’t really have anything cool for you guys, just because again, I forgot😅 For some reason I thought it was in July sometime, BUT NOPE! Just popped in to ask if you have any idea of the chokehold you have on me with your talent? You singlehandedly roped me back into the trolls fandom. Your writing is so easy to get lost in, there have been multiple times that I've gone back in Great Decisions to refresh my memories on one thing, but then I obviously should reread the context for this chapter as well, and wait this is right before that one other point in the story that I really loved, I should go further back so I can read it again- and suddenly I blink and find myself awake at four in the morning, having stayed up all night to reread the whole thing because it's so damn good!

I haven't been reading the last few 6 or 7(?) chapters of Great Decisions cause I want to read the rest of the movie 2 in one go cause I know otherwise I'd be going insane for each new update but last night I actually dreamed about your JD the story and how it might continue. So I guess it's been a lot more on my mind than I thought 🤔😂

Ooooo I hope it was a good dream! Little fun fact unrelated to “Great Decisions”, but related to my other fanfics, I actually dreamed “John Dory’s Quick and Concise Guide on How To Survive” before I wrote it!

I dreamed I was in a library, and saw a book titled just that on display, and I was like, omg, that looks so good, I can’t wait to read it! And then… I woke up. And I was SO disappointed, like dammit, I was really looking forward to seeing what it was! Then I was like… I could just make it myself. So at about 3am, I wrote down that title in my notes app, and the story was born.

Wild, right?

Do you think John is going to have a similar arc that he had between the first and second movie this time? Or because canonically that the time skip between the second and third is only a month (which I am electing to ignore personally) will he have a more simple arc?

He will have a more simple arc!

Exactly, there’s only going to be about a month and a half between Movies 2 and 3 in my story, and that’s not a helluva lot of time to really grow. BUT! There will still defo be some growth, some steps forward, and some steps back! I think the next chapter that’ll come out, the last one for Movie Two, really sets the stage for our little in-between arc. Very excited to share it with y’all!

I think? It’ll only be about 5-6 chapters, hopefully 5. And they’re going to be a lot more episodic than we’ve seen in a while, with most having a small time skip inbetween. I want to make sure I set up well for the third movie, but always want to make sure I tie up some things from the second movie.

Great question! I pretty much have the big plot points all planned out, a few of them since the very beginning! Buuuuut it’s all about connecting them! Usually each chapter I have about 2-3 things I need to write/talk about, and sometimes they take me in completely dif directions while writing! But it’s kinda cool when the story just tells ya where to go!

But yes, much of this story was planned before I even started writing! For example, the last fight scene has been in my notes since before chapter one!!!

Oooo I haven’t listened to them, but I’ll have to check them out!
