Deep in the night we are waiting / holding our breath, letting go

"I wanted to do it. It felt good. But at least I know I can stop, I just- don't know how. I... I don't want to stop."
I think Jon smashing that table was the moment I really fell in love with tma. That's when I realized, oh, this is a show about a man who is not cut out to be a protagonist but is forced to be one anyway. This is a show were people try their best and still fail spectacularly. Every character in this show sucks in their own special way but you still can't help but love them. You really don't find this kind of show everyday. People say this all the time, but I really mean it when I say that tma has permanently altered my brain chemistry. I haven't been this obsessed with something in a long time.
I wanted to make this since I listened to that episode so here we go
@jonmartinweek Day 4 Tea as Love Language // Beyond the Grave (also a bit of Day 7: Eldritch Powers // Caretaking I guess)

It's a lot healthier to go for a daily walk than to sign up for a gym membership you won't be using because you hate that kind of exercise. It's a lot healthier to eat a frozen meal than to skip a meal because you were too tired to cook something healthy. It's a lot healthier to take a quick shower than to procrastinate an elaborate routine for days. Don't aim so high that you won't be hitting anything!
few clips ive gathered of astarion being worried/protective

THE FREAKING TRANSITION IM ON THE FLOOR
I know heās kind of a polarizing character, but I have to say, Elias Bouchard truly is Iconic. When you hear the twist of āthe boring middle manager was actually secretly an evil eldritch monster the whole time!ā you sort of assume that the boring middle manager persona was just a facade, but no, he really does seem to just enjoy dull administrative work. Heās both exactly as boring as he seems on the surface and profoundly fucked up in ways you couldnāt imagine. Heās practically omniscient and playing 4-D chess with everyone, but he responds to even slight hiccups in his elaborate scheme with acts of extreme violence. He beats an old man to death with a metal pipe and when someone brings it up later he goes, āYeah I may have overreacted there.ā His employees are constantly trying to murder him. He broke out of prison just so he could give a dramatic monologue. He had a weird gay thing going on with seemingly every man he met in the past 200 years. He loves scheduling.
will wood tma fans wya
Me: I shouldn't disturb Neil Gaiman. I shouldn't send an ask unless I really have no way of getting the information otherwise. I'll check old interviews and all the articles that vaguely mention the subject. Of course it goes without saying that I'll read though the FAQ in its entirety. Only then, will I send an ask. However, I'd be very polite and praise his work, as anyone would. I'd also keep it short, because I don't want to waste his time. But I'd keep it very very respectful. I'd be sending a message to a very talented, amazing author that deals with god knows how many like me. Or I'd just stay in the dark and not send him an ask. Yeah, I'll do that.
My Dash:
this may just be me going into overanalysis mode but i feel like the choreography of spellcasting can tell you so much about a magic user. a snap of the fingers, for example, implies confidence, even arrogance, while hands thrust out and straining to the fingertips suggests desperation, throwing one's whole body into the spell as though hoping the physical effort will make a difference. rapid, jerky body language tells you that a spellcaster is passionate and reckless, while graceful, fluid movements demonstrate calm and concentration. some magic users may choose to stomp their feet or clap their hands when casting, channeling power through percussive motion, whilst others may see magic as a tool separate from the self, and focus it through objects like a wand or staff. a new spellcaster just coming into their power may be tentative and slow, but a practiced study of magic will be able to rely on muscle memory to guide them.

Mother is God in the eyes of a child.
Posting this for the people who think that Tolkien's world-building was something complete and entire and finished before he started to write.
You always learn and discover your story and your world as you write. Sometimes you are just the first reader.
Neil Gaiman on why he cast Michael Sheen as Aziraphale:
"Michael had said he wanted to be in it from the very start. Around 2014ish. We both assumed he'd be Crowley. Except as I wrote it, I kept thinking of the Michael I know: an incredibly sweet, sensitive, funny man determined to do good and to do the right thing, and I kept thinking of him as my Aziraphale."
My Aziraphale.
forever and always insane about the fact that haunting means "heimsuchen" in german which literally translates to "homeseeking". a haunting is a search for a home you can never return to
I've slowly been chipping away at drawing scenes from that imaginary Muppet retelling of the Princess Bride, figured it was about time to share what I've drawn on Tumblr!

WINTER GHOSTS by Sean Fitzgerald.
Fondly remembering the time that a cat owner casually entered their calico Maine Coon in a cat fancierās competition and the judges lost their minds because the cat was 1) male and 2) able to bear children
So apparently the pro-Tetris scene is exploding right now because a 13 year old nerd just reached the game's true killscreen for the first time ever
