thanks, german translation, for showing once more how there's no heterosexual explanation for these two. that's like, the least subtle you can get short of having them kiss on screen.
they are so fucking gay for each other, it's incredible
Pearl calls Marina "her beauty" in the german translation of suffer no fools. I feel like all of you should know this.
I sat with a crying second grader today. (The age range is outside my wheelhouse but I was the most convenient adult.) He was crying, the other adults said, because his brother took a phone he was playing on. “Phone addicted,” everybody said. “If he would get up and play games with the other kids he wouldn’t be crying.”
He told me everyone lets his brother take things from him because his brother is younger, and doesn’t know better. He told me he doesn’t want to play because he’s tired, he has too many extracurriculars this summer and can’t get good sleep because “everyone in my camper is so loud when I’m trying to sleep.” He’s exhausted and only eight. His mom’s an acquaintance and told me she and the kid’s father are going through a separation — mom and four kids left the house to stay in a camper.
But people will seriously not listen to kids crying over seemingly minor things because on the surface it looks like a tantrum. If kids are given the space to articulate themselves they often will.
One of the details from the Smash Ultimate reveal trailer I still think about is the fact that it actually shows off inkling bioluminescence (the pink dots on the underside of their tentacles)
I feel like it’s a small detail about inklings that I don’t think a lot of people know about (or at least I don’t see it brought up as canon very often). I also feel like it was way more apparent in Splatoon 1 and I don’t really see it as much in later games, but idk
Hihi idk wut ur general ask rules are, but um i figured i may as well ask and hope im not too annoying lol. You make really beautiful moodboards and i was wondering if you could maybe make a winged cat one? Ty if you can and dw if not, have a wonderful day regardless :3
Sorry I couldnt find many with feathered wings! Not many unknown facts about cats for me to provide but there is one kind gross one about winged cats. Some cats actually can have 'wings', due to feline cutaneous asthenia. It is a condition related to ehlers danlos syndrome, it causes skin growth that can resemble wings. Some cats have been documented to have supernumerary limbs (extra partial limbs) that can resemble wings, and may include bone and muscular tissue.

On this day, February 20th, 1824, bones from the Stonesfield Slate in Oxfordshire, England were described by William Buckland. Dinosaur fossils have likely been known since time immemorial, but that day was the first time a dinosaur had been described by western science (being the predatory Megalosaurus). Two decades later, Richard Owen would use the three fossils shown above - belonging to three separate animals Megalosaurus (leg), Iguanodon (tooth), and Hylaeosaurus (spine) - to formally recognize Dinosauria as a lineage of animals. Today over a thousand Mesozoic dinosaur genera known, with many being described on a monthly basis, and our understanding of these animals has grown tremendously since the 1820s. We now recognize that dinosaurs were sophisticated, highly active reptiles with diverse behaviors of which one lineage survived the great Cretaceous Mass Extinction Event: the birds. Paleontologist Darren Naish has said that dinosaurs are popular "because they look neat, because they're awesome in every sense of the word, because they ruled a vast, chaotic, complex wilderness, and because they're the source of a myriad of big, really interesting questions". And I'm sure we all couldn't agree more.
So here's to 200 Years of Dinosaurs! How will you celebrate one of the world's most popular and incredible animals?
i'm a winged cat. now, i know for a fact there's others, but only met one who's type works similarly to mine.
basically, i'm a sapient, somewhat powerful, energy-based shapeshifty creature, that mostly turns into cat-thing with wings. no specific species, traits vary, but always a face like a housecat, long tail, and often prehensile thumbs. we get all kinds of wings, but the bird ones are most important. i'm part bird, in a dragon-like way.

my life changed on the day I discovered low effort cooking for myself.
instead of spending hours on an elaborate dish, I can just throw a bunch of stuff in salty water or between two slices of bread, cook/fry that bad boy, and boom. I got myself some food. I'm cooking way more often than I used to.
inkfish are small
-(thee/they/any)- lives on the internet, very invested in multiple games, even ones i can't even get (they generate enrichment in the brain centrifuge) ✨holy trinity of artist, furry and otherkin✨ (notably full of disease and mental illness)
