Real talk: the duffers would rather write a whole new character from scratch just to circumvent the possibility of kali/steve. They would rather add another white girl than even consider the interesting dynamic between Kali and Steve and what that could entail. Kali and Steve would be so organic: u got two would-be leaders/protectors with too much on their plate, but who are different enough to cause friction. Steve would be so conflicted about her powers, but drawn to her too. The chemistry alone would be insane. This would also be a neat way to keep Kali closer to the main group (it feels like they're kinda dropping her altogether). Instead? Oh, Steve awkwardly flirts with the white girls he works with at the mall? *Insert that meryl streep pic from the devil wears prada, u know the one*

How does a woman know? She listens. She listens in. Like light on waves.
