Purpose/Objectives
• Get better about having my picture taken
• Practice drawing little by little, day by day
• Be able to look at a picture of myself objectively- just draw it out for what it is
How To
• Take a black and white selfie
• Sketch the photo the next night and number it
• Take a new photo for the following night
• Upload the sketch and photo for a side by side comparison
Goals
• Continue every night for an undermined (as of now) amount of time
- A week?
- A month?
- A year?
•Share on a social media platform
- Encourages follow through
- Encourages vulnerability
Day 30
The drawing and picture both look a little moody, but somehow in two different ways?
I feel like I went a little bigger for the nose, and it feels a tad bit more on track? Maybe I gotta try drawing it a little larger
I feel like so far this has been going well for me. I have a few more pictures that I've sketched already that I stilk need to upload- I didn't actually make this account until I had been doing this for several days, which is why I've been able to upload more than one post each time I update this page. I make an effort to draw and take a new picture each night, though sometimes I'm not able to. Even if I miss a day or two I'm still pushing myself to do this before bed each night.
Personally I think I've done a good job following through, at least for me. In fact, I've decided to push myself a little bit more and (try) to participate in Inktober this year. I don't know how long I'll make it, but I'm going to try. The pictures will be a little different because I've decided I'll do a pencil drawing first and then go over them in pen. They might be a little more detailed-or not. We'll see how the month goes... Wish me luck!
Day 43
I think I need to take more pictures face-on because something about drawing them is throwing me off
Little squished up top, but the bottom half is better than yesterday (thankfully)
