I know this is a small goal, but I don’t care. One day I’m gonna get out of this place, and I’m gonna dress like all the men who gave me gender envy growing up. The guys I watched on TV, who I got unreasonably attached to as a kid for reasons I didn’t yet understand. The guys I was obsessed with not knowing all that time that I wanted to be them. I’m gonna make up for all the lost time, the boyhood I never had because no one told me it was possible, and as soon as I put on those clothes and I think back to my eleven year old self and I smile at my reflection in the mirror, I know that I’ll finally be happy.

I don't like how quickly y'all forgot about Sam Nordquist. How when the news came out, y'all had to be reminded to include that he's a black trans man. How his killers and tormenters included queer people. And how in a week or two's time, he wasn't mentioned again. As if his death was just some unimportant footnote you never look back on.

god I love Gansey. Weirdgirl cosplaying as a normie. Put all his stats into hierarchical / authority social interactions and fumbles even the most basic of peer to peer interactions. Obsessed with and in love with the weird little town he lives in. The most out of touch person you’ve ever met in your life. Would fall on his sword before asking anyone to venmo him for pizza. Haunted by death. Is the glue holding the most eclectic group of friends you’ve ever seen together. Keeps only one type of houseplant. Knows the importance of having a white whale to follow. Occasionally slips into truly archaic language but only when there’s no better word for it. Cannot learn Latin to save his life. All of his friends are cooler than him.
