they’re so fucking cool they have a whole found family of punks that do sober parties for them and they’ve befriended every queer pub owner in their area to support them when they go on nights out bc they’re an absolute legend and RECOVERY IS THE COOLEST THING TO DO

it’s also really fucking funny when they invite abbey to their parties and it’s like “here’s my twin sister yes she likes lana del rey but we’re going to support her” and abbey’s just in the corner with a haunted look on her face

asher has some canon relapses but they’re still so fucking cool bc the intent of recovering is so fucking cool to have and the effort should be recognised and appreciated
