Wow everyone look at this- this is an amazing tablet, and I wish I had seen it before I just dropped $170 on a small intuos 5 This is called a Tursion Huion tablet- looks pretty simple right- kind of like a bamboo here’s the thing. This tablet has 2024 levels of pressure- that is the equivalent to the pressure an intuos 5 currently has (retail price: $229 for the smallest) You can get this lovely tablet for under $50 dollars on amazon Only thing this beautiful table it lacking is a few simple buttons, but still, I mean, its drawing area is even bigger on average then most Wacom’s small tablets- and from the reviews ive seen on it people are very impressed….so just spreading the word around that Wacom isn’t the only one that is making good tablets- the more the company is spread perhaps they will come out with even better products that not only match up to Wacom, but are with in our price range for once! Gravity Falls ended last week. We would like to celebrate these 4 years of laughs and tears by gathering the artists of the fandom in a big, collaborative fanzine/artbook!
THE ARTBOOK
We plan to feature around 80~100 illustrations (yup it’s gonna be a big book!!). The theme is gonna be the GF series! Artists will choose an episode and draw something related to it. This is not a screenshot redraw thingy so you’re still pretty free on what you can draw. (This rule is also here to prevent too many people from drawing the same scene)
At first we’re gonna invite a few artists we’d like to feature in the book. Then we’ll open applications for everyone! Be sure to check the blog for more info~
DATES:
Now- March 14th: we’re contacting invited artists
March 14th: Applications open
April 3rd: Applications close
July 31st: Submission deadline

PSA: Parents. Please do not emotionally manipulate your children.
They will grow up completely untrusting with a general sense of sadness and guilt.
Manipulation includes:
- “I just wish [something passive aggressive involving your child]”
- “You do whatever you want to do.” and then getting mad when they make the “wrong” choice
- Not believing them when they tell you something someone did or said to them, including their friends, your friends, family members, or even you
- Doing something shitty and then pretending you didn’t in hopes they’ll forget?
- Getting upset when they open up to you. About anything. Even if it’s something angering or disappointing. Don’t show them it’s dangerous or counterproductive to talk to you.
- Making them feel bad for the friends/significant others they choose, career path (or lack thereof), school choice (or lack thereof), gender/sexuality (or lack thereof) literally anything that either they didn’t choose or that they would be miserable without
- Do NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES pressure them to talk to you about personal things.
- Kids do not owe their parents anything. They did not choose to be born. You chose to get pregnant/chose to carry to term/chose to raise a baby (even if you didn’t choose all of these things, you at least chose one) under the assumption that you would love this child no matter what.
