There are so many scenes that I want to see reinterpreted in this universe I've created, but then I remember that I have to write it to make it happen :') I'm currently working on a double chapter situation, one being a chapter entirely dedicated to these types of scenes that I couldn't figure out how to shoehorn into the main plot, but I wanted to see Kaz and Inej navigate them in the Wild West. The desire to daydream about my fic and not actually write my fic has been so strong fr!
Made this for u đ
A jerk of movement pulls her into consciousness. Sheâs no longer on the ground; sheâs in someoneâs arms, Inej realizes with a start. Her fingers twitch, seeking out one of her knives, but so much pain is radiating from her arm that she canât move.
Whoever is carrying her isnât doing so gently. With each staggering step, Inej is wrenched against the personâs chest.
âInej? Are you awake?â says a rasping voice.
Kaz. Kaz is carrying her.
âKaz?â Inej says. Her voice is hoarse from the vomiting and the drinking.
âYes. Itâs me. Weâre almost there.â

Facebook reminded me that today it's three years since I finished this sculpture. So this is probably a repost. Should make more like this though. It was a lot of fun! I'm feeling like smaller projects that bring more of an instant satisfaction now. My big moss wall project is very satisfying now, but has been such a slog.
being an soc fic writer be like
Slowly but surely I've been making progress on Blood Meridian. Junior year of college is kicking my ass but semester ending means more time to write! Very exciting!
Everyone west of the Mississippi knows the name Kaz Brekker. Kaz Brekker and his crew listen to the laws of no man, and have established a reputation in western America as infamous criminals. Inej, trapped by Heleen and her indenture, dreams of having the kind of freedom Kaz Brekker and the Dregs have. So when Kaz Brekker and his gang ride into town, Inej makes a deal with the devil. Though she had no idea she'd fall in love with him.
Thank you @13agota for tagging me to post the last line I wrote! I apologize for answering late, I always forget to check my inbox on here! As a consolation, I'm including a handful of extra lines.
If she were facing him, Kaz is certain she wouldâve been narrowing her eyes. He can deduce from the tension in her shoulders that she finds the entire thing suspicious. He knew she would, but it doesnât matter. As long as Wylan doesnât suspect a thing.
Thank you so much @13agota for tagging me! ^v^ I'm not sure if they've already participated, but I'll go ahead and tag @ravenyenn19! No problem if you've already been tagged! <3
