A little too much faith in mathematics back then! At least theology gave him a beyond with which to engage in critical intercourse
“The most savage controversies are those about matters as to which there is no good evidence either way. Persecution is used in theology, not in arithmetic, because in arithmetic there is knowledge, but in theology there is only opinion.”

"The story of Pemberton and Coca-Cola is widely known, the stuff of urban legend. Back then, carbonation was a big deal, requiring special high-pressure jets to force enough carbon dioxide into a solution. There was no method for reinforcing standard glass bottles, so carbonation had to be done in pharmacies with special equipment and drunk on-site. This became known as the soda fountain. Thus, Coca-Cola was originally sold only in pharmacies. But there was another reason as well.
What is not widely known is that Pemberton was a morphine addict, after being wounded in the Civil War. The reason he developed his sacred formula was a long-standing attempt to wean himself off his addiction."

This may end up being less of a review and more of a rave. The plot was interesting though a little thin. However, I can easily over look that in a romcom with characters this charming and with BDSM this accurate.
For those that aren't familiar with this movie, let me update you. It's an office romance featuring a baby sub who mistakenly thinks his co-worker is a Dom and asks her to be his Master (master isn't really accurate but we'll let it slide as likely a cultural difference?). She is not but she is intrigued and willing to give it a try. So enters baby Dom!
Going into this movie I naturally had some concerns. While at the same time excited because I’d heard such good things. I knew from the trailer it was a male submissive and a female Dom, which as most of you know, is my favorite combination. It’s rarely portrayed. Which leads me to my fear, because BDSM is already inaccurately portrayed in mainstream with a male being a Dom, how was this going to go? Were they going to make a joke out of BDSM or portray the male submissive as weak as they generally do with female submissives? I had trepidations but was still hopeful and then they blew my expectations out of the water. I have not seen a more accurate portrayal. I honestly haven’t. This was funny, real, sensual, and raw all at the same time.
They did an incredible job of portraying Ji Hoo's submissiveness as something that is simply his preference and there's nothing wrong with it, even when others may judge him. I loved that they show cased the judgment that male submissives are often subjected to. I appreciated that they covered this not only from the aspect of how he is judged by other men but also an ex. We then get to see him blossom and truly enjoy being himself because of the acceptance of his Dom. He doesn’t suddenly realize he is actually a “Dom” which you sometimes see happen in movies. No, he thrives under the attention of his Dom and their open communication. That while he might listen to commands, he’s free to verbalize his likes and dislikes all while maintain a sub status.
Ji Woo… My gosh. I adored her character so much. She is the inexperienced Dom who didn’t realize she was missing something until she started reading what a Dom was and became intrigued. Her quick ease into the Dom role, even if she is unsure about it, clearly shows the fact that this has always been who she is. She had just never been exposed to it to have a chance to explore it. Her willingness to dive in and read, to make mistakes, added a realistic touch while also giving her persona added charm. She made mistakes but the were ones that I've personally made myself, like don't use duck tape and picking the wrong location to try new things. She practiced roping on a stuffy!! Which yes, we do!! They made her real and relatable instead of some bad-ass who makes men cry.
I would recommend this movie to anyone wanting an introduction to the BDSM world. This was a very accurate depiction of an established contracted D/s relationship. I loved that you can clearly see that couples are not "on" all the time like people fantasize and yet it can still be apart of every day life. That people really do live these lives, where we work and then come home to a imbalanced power relationship.

Charles Windsor gathered in a park princes & ministers of many nations together with their wives, and there he preached to them, with decreasing confidence, of his wish that, to raise the birth rate, they all breed there. Once it was clear that this fertile fecundity would not occur, not the least because these were all as elderly as he, he began to stop expecting they would do so in the open in front of him, and said things like "Well, I hope we'll all do what's best, so let's get to it!" before retreating from the podium.
After this, I spoke to George W. Bush, one of the guests, and he agreed with me that Charles' idea was dangerous and that we would have to oppose him. We also ridiculed how he constantly referred to his realm by the awkwardly lengthy City of [City-wherein-I-live].

"For an article called “Woman as Goddess” in the October 1994 issue of Penthouse magazine, I took a woman journalist on a tour of New York strip clubs to demonstrate how admiring and visibly cowed the men were in the pagan presence of a dynamic woman dancer. Men’s money in that ritual environment does not control women but rather the opposite: money is the poor tribute by which desperate men win a dominant woman’s momentary attention." — On Rihanna (2017) “The feminist line is, strippers are victims.
