I watch The Bad Batch as an exploration of the beginning of the Empire from the perspective of a group of fugitives trying to get by in a galaxy that doesn't always make sense.

I'm here for their story.

I'm here for WHATEVER the writers, artists, and composers give us in their own good time. I want the plot to be given to me slowly. I want a character's redemption or further fall to have so much meat to it that I sit back and think, "Wow. They went through hell to get here."

I want to find out what makes the characters tick one morsel at a time, and I'm NOT going to complain about where the writers take them if it's not what I envisioned for them because it's the story.

Honestly, I'm finding this fandom to be a tedious place lately. A lot of people only seem to enjoy the show if they are given exactly what they want by the writers and the moment the show deviates from that, they complain.

I'm here for the story. Please reblog this or leave me a comment if you are too because I want to surround myself with other fans who are here for the Batch's story in whatever direction it takes us.

I can’t remember who said this but someone mentioned how the brothers all nodded their head when Cid asked them if they knew what a tactical droid is. Omega didn’t. Tech looked around and saw that Omega shook her head no. So Tech, only then, he decided to input the knowledge to Omega but really, he just wanted to info dump. 🙃

So I came across this gif again and guys…

Hunter patiently waiting to be told the answer.

And Tech…

Tech looking aghast…horrified….if he had pearls on, he’d clutch them. His face says it all “are neither of them going to answer this incredibly easy question? For real?! They’re going to stay fucking quiet!?!!!!”

Then she shoves Hunter and Echo aside (“move bitches, you had your chance!”) and quickly answers.

Tech was 100% that kid who is in the front of the class whispering “oh oh oh! Pick me! Pick me! Me! I know!!” while raising his arm like he’s trying to touch the ceiling while staying seated. Eventually using his other hand to prop his raised arm up. The teacher calls on Hunter, who was winking at a girl while tilting back in his chair. Hunter simply goes “uuuuhhhhhhhh….Naboo?” And Tech freaks out knowing it’s wrong and he still has a chance.

Also we all know Crosshair skips class to smoke under the bleachers.

……… ow

(…) He used to have million of brothers. Now, he’s the last. But he still hears them. They whisper to him(…)

Random Clone Headcanons

These are all just my opinions and personal headcanons. Feel free to contradict me on any lmao

Hunter is a huge eavesdropper. Not that he necessarily wants to be, he just can’t help it with his heightened senses. He can hear whole conversations perfectly from like, three rooms away. This also 100% backfires when he hears things he most definitely has no business hearing and it traumatizes him.

Rex and Cody are Echo and Fives’ parents but like platonically (bc cloncest is disgusting imo)

Wolffe would definitely hate Tech. Like, that one arc in TCW where he was stuck with C3-PO and it was just constant eye rolls. But oh god how is this an actual human being. Rex might have to hold him back from punching Tech out of annoyance.

Crosshair and Hunter did each other’s tattoos.

Rex had tattoos in honor of the domino twins. (a handprint and number 5)

Tup’s hair is literally so curly and fluffy and soft and adorable and i could go on rbejjsjs

Waxer and Boil tried at least once to go see Numa again but never were able to.

Wolffe (and probably the rest of the Wolfpack) sees Ahsoka as his little sister.

Along with that; Wolffe was absolutely devastated and felt betrayed when he learned Ahsoka was working with Ventress.

Cody has absolutely no reason to spin kick droids like he did except for showing off and trying to make himself look cooler than his brothers (Wolffe)

Tech is autistic.

Echo is likely also autistic.

Clone cuddle piles are a regular thing among all clones and although they might grow out of it as they age, if one poor clone bb has a nightmare, his vode are not letting him sleep alone. Nuh uh. Monsters and war problems can’t get to him if he’s safe with us.

Kanan: *sees that somebow Ezra's in a tie fighter* What the- Ezra get out of the tie fighter

Ezra: *pokes head out* You're, not my dad

Kanan: Get out of the kriffing tie I am your dad

Ezra: You're not my dad
