My biggest problem with adults claiming every good piece of children’s media for themselves and saying things like it’s “not really for kids” ie Bluey MLP:FiM and ATLA is the fact that it implies kids aren’t worthy of high quality content which is just super bogus

I cannot believe how much season two of witch from mercury made me care about Guel I actually feel bad for him when I hated him at first and later season one and season two made me hate Shaddiq when I actually found him really suave and cool at first then the show pulled a switch-a-roo on me

I was watching an episode of Bluey when I noticed this

I was watching the episode Octopus and saw this. Chloe’s house number is 101 because she and her family are Dalmatians. That’s so cute!

Ya know what I can’t stop thinking about digital circus? That both Pomni and Kaufmo are clowns (I know Pomni looks more like a jester but you get the idea) I wonder if that link is on purpose since they’re both desperately searching for the exit. Or Caine already knew Kaufmo abstracted and figured that the next person to get trapped would need to be a clown since they’re a circus staple and they just lost the one they had.

I got to the sunflower fields in Mother 3 today… man these games they just keep on destroying me emotionally and when Hinawa’s ghost or Lucas’s hallucination of her whatever it was supposed to be made me cry again I had already cried when she died I cried when Queen Mary/Maria disappeared after the 8 melodies were played I cried during EarthBound’s 8 melodies flashback these games man they’re killing me with my own emotions in the best way possible and based off what Alec said I now headcanon that Hinawa has been following around Lucas as a ghost to keep an eye on him just to make myself feel a little better I need this

For the past while I have been trying to get my stepmom into anime

I showed her Zombieland saga and she loves it (Saki is her favorite character with Tae as a very close second I’ll discuss why in this very post) we just finished the last episode of Revenge last night

We find out about the movie and agree to see it in theaters if we can because our town doesn’t have one so we’d have to go to the next town over

We also started talking about Tae and I said “I wonder if in the movie Tae will get her awakening”

And my stepmom says “well I hope not” and of course I ask why and she then goes on this whole speech on how Tae isn’t normal and how she loves that about her

She talks about how she’s glad Tae gets to be a little abnormal a little feral and a little weird and strange she even went as far to say that if Tae did get awakened it’d ruin her character

This is how I know I’ve at least gotten her foot through the door for anime
