This is my first design for Bruce before The Plague ruins the lands and people. I know that this is definitely not the best drawing on here by far, but please note I’m normally a traditional artist and I’ve only been doing digital art for a year now. I tried to incorporate as many different colours that correspond to his family without taking the dark broody theme out of it that much.

I hope that you enjoy this little AU that I’m making (now with a little help from my friends!) as much as I am and you enjoy the art as well x

Hi, welcome back or welcome to whatever the fuck I’ve created for myself. This is going to a bit of Bruce’s backstory of him before the Plague and later on I’ll hopefully finish the picture of him beforehand as well.

Am I aware this is probably very OOC for many people? Yes. Am I also aware that it’s going to have to be different from canon because this is a world where people turn into literal monsters? Also yes.

Before The Plague-

Bruce had become King after the assassination of both his mother and father. He grew up being cared for by the Manors Butler, Alfred. He appointed Marshals for the other parts of the kingdom, as he likes to stay in Gotham. He and the Marshals called this the ‘League of Justice’.

After his parent’s untimely death, he decided to look after his remaining family as best as he could. Eventually, he ends up ‘adopting’ a few orphans, looking after them as well, not wanting them to have a childhood of misery and pain like he did. He trained them to become knights to be able to fight when they wished.

However, he still held onto the anger and resentment from when his parents died, and these feelings twist and turn into something beyond dark as a mysterious plague sweeps across the land, infecting most, only a few managing to escape.

Here’s a little map of the world, on the left of the islands there can be whatever land from FromSoftware you want really, it’s just a small little island. Also, I whipped this up in seven minutes, I promise you that my other drawings do not look this hideous, 😭 I will update it at some point.

The Lands of whatever the fuck I’ve gotten myself into. Honestly i just wanted to do a drawing now I’m writing a whole ass back story to a small idea of an AU I had.

The Great City of Gotham.

Backstory-

Gotham, the Great Capital City of the Deathstone Isle, was once a source of riches and landmass. The king, Thomas Wayne, and his Queen Consort, Martha Wayne, were just and fair rulers of the Islands that house Gotham and its few daughter cities. Martha and Thomas had a son, Bruce. However, one day they were found assassinated in their bed chambers, which left Bruce building up anger and resentment to people outside of his personal life over the years.

Eventually, these feelings show, along with everyone else’s as The Plague sweeps across the lands, transforming all life, waiting for you, dear Ronin Soldier, to vanquish them and stop The Plague from spreading any more.

UPDATE about the Batfam x Fromsoft ware designs I’m currently planning. There will be two of each character, one before ‘The Plague’ and one after. After each one I’ll post about the lore behind these characters and why they ‘changed’ during The Plague.

Also, at some point today or tomorrow I’ll post about the actual land around them, what it’s like, The Plague that happened, a bit of backstory.

I will probably at some point expand outside the Batfam to the rest of DC.

Flowers for Thee

I loved all the flowers that covered the Shaman village.

It made me think my tarnished would put some of those in his hair as a gesture of kindness. He needs it.

Head Canon here : Rini is recovering from almost belonging to a ritual. Cuts and gashes covered most of her body, none could hear her pleas, for she is mute.

Messmer's men found her as one of the only living remaining in a village ravaged.

They took her in.
