Among Us AU Idea
It’ s 2076 the technology is really advanced, to the point people can use a special devices, normally designed as bracelets, earrings, necklaces, pins and all variants of other accessories. Devices allows people to play a game in real life, swapping their body with the different one made out of special codes (think “World Trigger” trion bodies, just made out of the newest generation codes) , that can be personalized just as avatars in a game(based on one color obviously, but with different shades and accessories). This body is also allowing them to do things, they normally wouldn’t be able to do. With devices, they can also summon variety of weapons and are able to see and do things that are allowed only to people participating in the game. Such as tasks at checkpoints, that are create with bigger versions of their portable devices. They also have a special eye - ear part device that connects them with chat and shows them any system announcements, and a map… we don’t want new and/or out of city players to get lost. These came in glass – like shape or in one – eye glass option.
The game is set up in a city and depending on how many people are playing the one area in the city becomes their map. In bigger cites there are more areas, but depending on how big is the playing group, they game can take, one, two or even four areas in the city. ( Personally I think at same point there were this big “player unite” thing, where the whole city was the map. But that’s happening like once every three month. It’s difficult to synchronize game time.) All players have accounts, some choose to be anonymous, others don’t, they are beating scores and gathering points being future versions of today streamers.
As for the rules, there is a big difference, because we are not playing on a ship there are two options. First, find out who is the impostor and lure them to checkpoint where you can trap them for the rest of the game, or at least as long as no other impostor will find them. Or second option, eliminate them, because that actually is the option in this game. Crewmates can kill, the downfall being the fact that, differently from impostors, they don’t have to. So it can make them suspicious. When someone get’s slayed the information is automatically send as an announcement. Finding a body in the city would be a nightmare, especially since the “dead player” is not dead, but if he/she will get slayed, the red or black “X” will appear on their back and front suite side. And the points are claimed by the killer. The slayed person have to stay within 100 meters radius from the place their got slayed. And of course all communication options are being turned down.
Okay, but what is the difference between impostors and crewmates than? Impostors don’t have tasks to do in checkpoints. In one area there are eight checkpoints, depends o how many players participate, the number of activated checkpoints is higher or lower. However there is always one checkpoint that is inactive, and impostors never can tell witch one. That way they can be discovered. They can however use “shortcuts”, teleportation devices, spread all around the city. This, they can do thanks to their special “impostor code” within their body. They can also see who the other impostor(s) are. All players have the same pupils within their eyes. A simple circle with little star(or different shape) in the center, impostors circle are full at the bottom. For crewmates there are no difference but impostors are finding each- other with ease. They can also see where are other players on their map, while crewmates are limited to players literally five meters from them and if impostor will find another one of his kind, they can talk with the intercoms. Normally intercoms are available to use only for few minutes after someone is slayed to check where everyone are.
The tasks are obviously iconic : swapping the card, connecting wires or checking the switches to lights. The game never stops after all, and some people prefer to play at night. But also downloading data, checking shields on checkpoints, unlocking variety of different cryptic messages and even solving some riddles, or puzzles (music ones included). Some scans, really similar to the med-bay scans and if you personalize your tasks settings even baking or dancing in something similar to “just dance” and let’s not forget about karaoke task.
What else? Obviously more available colors to use, more operation options, since now the game is happening in actual real world and players can talk one to another if they meet up. And as for question about what else can be seen with eye piece, in different game modes, players statistics, the names of places, checkpoints and game participants nicks. Also, already mentioned, chat and map – obviously, announcements, checkpoint screens and all the messages from players and tasks.

there is the outside area where you have a sort of balcony that just goes to each door and to the stairs, then the entry way which has the bathroom/washroom and the closet next to it. Then there is the kitchen with a fridge, sink, stove, pantry, cabinets, counters, a table, and shelves. The living room has a coffee table, a TV, shelves, a couch, and a sliding door to the balcony. Then there is Izuku's and Inko's rooms at the end of the hall.
Izuku's room has a bed, desk, closet, window, and shelves. I know it looks really empty but idk what else to put in. I will figure out Inko's room layout later.
Maybe I'll add a shelf in one of these ways to fill up some more space.

A knight makes a deal with an ragged, eldritch looking "king" that sits on atop a throne somewhere and when he fulfills his end of the deal, to take the "king's" place, he realizes that he was the king all along and now has to make that same deal with his younger self.

Let's talk about fanfiction real quick, and more specifically the "reader" character and why I think it's absolutely genius.
You've created a premise, you've created a person to experience this world that you have created, then created the option for your readers to experience it one of two ways: as though it's actually them or as just another character. Literally that's amazing writing and an absolutely marvel of writing creativity.
In other stories, a reader could immerse themselves but there will always be that disconnect. In fanfiction, with "y/n" that disconnect is lessened or totally not there. And to be able to create a reader!character well is a sign of absolute mastery over writing imo.
Idk, the fanfiction community has me in a chokehold. I love y'all, keep doing what you do <3

Okay so I just played through Here Lies the Abyss and now I have headcanons about what Lavellan sees in the nightmare realm because even though I completed it with my Trevelyan Inky, I am apparently in love with my Elf Mage

I don't think Lavellan sees spiders, that's absolutely ridiculous. They lived in the woods ffs. I think they see other Dalish.
Some of the Dalish are random elves, they scream and yell at Lavellan that they've betrayed their own kind and once Lavellan starts fighting back, they claim that Lavellan is no better than the shems -even though I know "shems" is city elf slang- that hunt and kill the Dalish.
Some of the fears stole the faces of Lavellan's clan members: these fears beg Inky to come home, to stop fighting, that all will be forgiven if Lavellan just puts down their weapon. Other's however scream at inky, calling them insane, a murderer, a betrayer. Either way, Inky Lavellan has to kill their own clan members, and you bet that these deaths are dramatic throwing Lavellan into a state of mental distress.
At the end, Lavellan doesn't immediately see the nightmare demon, they see the Keeper. The Nightmare Keeper does all she can to convince Lavellan to stay, convince Lavellan to give up their bad memories, that Lavellan is a disappointment to their clan, that Lavellan betrayed them and it is the party's job to bring Inky to reality and realize that as terrifying as their clan turning against them or hating them is, that this isn't real. Kind of like a reverse DAO mission.
In the end, the Nightmare reveals itself and all goes as normal: except now Inky Lavellan is sufficiently more traumatized <3

Like Elphie comes from Ravka and is a Grisha or maybe she's from Novyi Zem and is secretly a Grisha. Maybe Glinda is from Kerch? And Fiyero from Ravka. I might actually write it when I find the time actually.

How to Write a Realistic Argument
Everyone argues.
Whether it be with a friend, sibling, parent, or coworker—arguments usually break out whenever there’s a stark contrast in opinion over certain things, which can happen a lot.
There are a variety of different kinds of arguments involving a wide range of people with different tempers. Because of this, writing arguments can be a bit difficult, but fear not, for this post is here to help!
1. Know The Writing Style of an Argument
For a very serious argument, the characters probably won’t stop and listen to what their opponent has to say.
It’s quick, choppy, and broken—each character shoving their emotions at one another and trying to get their point across without bothering to understand the other side’s opinions.
There should be a lot of em-dashes and italicized words for emphasis, and if it’s between two people, you want as few speech tags as possible; because there’s going to be a lot of back and forth, speech tags can serve to trip up the flow of the argument rather than help them.
When you do want speech tags or if there are multiple people arguing at once here’s some examples you can use:
Roared
Screamed
Yelled
Bellowed
Barked
Hissed
Shouted
Accused
Interrupted
Growled
Snarled
Spat
Screeched
Shrilled
But you also must know that your characters won’t just be standing stock still and yelling at one another; they’re going to be moving around, so here are some things you can describe your character doing during an argument
Expression contorting
Eyes narrowing
Speaking through clenched teeth
Baring their teeth
Lips twisting (into a sneer/into a snarl)
Hands balling into fists
Trembling
Breaking things/knocking stuff over
Pointing accusingly
Shoving
Spittle flying from their mouth
Stamping their feet
Face getting hot
Vein in forehead popping
Blood roaring in their ears/heart pounding
And if you want, to build tension you can put it in a dangerous place, like at the edge of a cliff or something—so you know fully well that if one of them goes too far it may end up with the other’s accidental death.

Hear me out !
First, I can't belive there is no speedster names after the swiftest of the Gods of Olympus !! I'm not sure if he's exactly the god of speed, but he's close enought anyway !
Second, like many other people, I think Bart should become Mercury instead of Flash, and Mercury is also known as ???? Hermes !! So if Thadd was the inertia and Bart the impulse, when Bart becomes Mercury Thadd should become Hermes ! So it's stay in the theme !
Third, I like Thadd juste having is own identity as a hero and not juste take over the name of an other speedster.(even if it keeps a link with Barts name)
Fourth, it's just funny ! Like, Mercury is some kind of copy of Hermes, when Thadd is what we can call a copy of Bart ! I like the irony !
Fifth, because no speedster have use this name yet there is no connotation nor legacy behind it, so that allow Thadd to be who he wants ! A hero, a vilain, a anti-hero, anything he wants ! And even the non-heroic options make sens with the name Hermes 'cause the guy's also the god of thieves !
Yeah, I know Hermes is alredy a character in the comics, but he's not really important and he's not considered a speedster, plus it wouldn't be the first time two entirely different characters share a name.
Also, why Thadd could decide to change his name ? Well, it could just be because Bart change his so Thadd want to do the same, or, in a redemption scenario, Inertia could be a bad remember about all the bad Thadd has done.
Anyway, I had this idea after I hadn't sleep for like 48 hours so it's may not really make sense but I like it !
Umbrella Academy FF Idea
So...I had this idea for a story that I might never write.
So, this could take place during season 1 or 2, as long as everyone is together. I was thinking after season 2, when their still adjusting to the weird new version of reality.

But basically it involves Klaus getting hit by some kind of thing that turns him into his younger self. Like physically and mentally he’s at some point between 12 - 14, after Five disappears but before Ben dies.
Basically, everyone gathers around when it first happens because their worried about him, he then starts panicking. Maybe some ghost soldiers get summoned to protect him or something. I have a head cannon that before the drugs, Klaus actually had an amazing grasp on his powers but since his dad kept pushing him, he gave up to drugs.
Five, being the only one he would actually recognise, jumps in to calm him down.
Over the rest of the day, Klaus is trying to wrap his head around what's happening and he’s still not talking to any of the other siblings.
Eventually, Vanya gains his trust by convincing him by doing something they did when they were kids (Handshake, song, something like that). This gives Five a break as Vanya volunteers to keep an eye on him.
When Luther and Diego try to befriend him, they discover that they practically bullied Klaus when they were kids when they didn’t mean too. This is one of the reasons he was so quiet as a kid, he thought half of his family hates him.
Over the next week, they all slowly gain Klaus trust, the others realising how much more Klaus was abused then the rest of them.
This causes all of them (Except for Vanya and Five because they already knew) to feel extremely guilty for calling him stupid or childish.
It ends when one day, Klaus wakes up as his normal self, very confused as to what’s happening and why everyone’s crying and hugging him.
I just feel like it has so much angst and fluff opportunities.
So much family interaction that could happen!!!!!
