Literally just scrolling through the tmnt 2012 hashtag, and was met with THIS!! Literally going to sob STOP-

I was just browsing around here at random and I think the current generation of social media users need to re-learn a certain truth:

the Secret Service will investigate all perceived threats to the president or top government officials, even if they are clearly unserious.

Now, they aren't going to arrest you for joking about it. They are going to show up at your house with printouts of your tumblr and other social media and ask you some very pointed questions and it's going to be extremely uncomfortable. They want you to know that they know what you said, and that if you were planning to do more than talk, you should stop that, because now they have their eye on you.

And yeah, in the back of their minds they're thinking "what if this seemingly harmless poster actually turns out to have a gun and a plan, and we dismiss them because we think they couldn't possibly be serious?" But mainly the first thing.

Let me make one thing clear: I am expressing neither approval or disapproval of this practice. I am stating the fact that they've done this for decades -- it's not a particular feature of the new administration. And given that their one and only job is keeping some very unpopular people alive, it makes sense that they're being damn sure no one slips through the cracks. Because it only takes one.

Oh, and just for the record, if you use common censorship techniques to talk about "unaliving" or "k*lling" someone you shouldn't, they can still find you. Some of these people have been on the social media beat for years by now, you know they speak fluent TikTok.

Be safe out there, okay? Don't get put on a list for a dumb joke.

Okay, so I posted my FIRST EVER animatic, Nico Ruined The Crayon Song, a little over a week ago. But, unfortunately, it is only 35 seconds long. 😕 But I though I would speak out here and on my Twitter about it, and to introduce myself.

Hi! My name is Doodles, and you can find me on Twitter and YouTube at Doodles. I am an amiture artist, and an inspired animator. The girl that is my picture thing is not me, but an OC of mine, named May. She is literally the face of my channel/page/account. I am a fangirl, as you can see from my likes, and I spend a lot of my time reading books for my English class or writing books that I will never publish.

My first attempt at making a sky, I think it turned out pretty well!

This is ridiculous! Dead End is such a good series, with great representation, only to be axed for no reason!

Netflix cancelled Dead End.

Dead End had:

Gay representation

Bisexual representation

Trans representation

Women of color and men of color as main characters

Courtney

Homophobic, transphobic family that's accurate

Coming out scenes

Autistic and anxiety representation

Found family

Barney was Jewish and there were no jokes or problems with it

Talk about binders

Plus size representation without the jokes

It also had really good writing and directing and story. Also the art and animation was consistent and amazing and the colors were bright. It was funny and there were amazing songs sung by the characters.

This show was so unbelievably important.

To anyone wondering if it's worth it to tear down fascist posters or whatever. I spent a few months last year engaged in silent battle with another student at my school who was putting anti trans stickers up everywhere. I had it down to a system where every night I would walk the five block radius they went up in, and tear down all the ones I could reach, and use a stick to put duct tape over the others. Like, within hours of the stickers going up, I would have already purged the whole zone. I knew the basic schedule of whoever put them up based on when and where the stickers appeared. I probably could have found them in person if I'd wanted to. And I told all my classmates and friends what the stickers looked like and got them to rip them down too. And after a few months of this, the stickers slowed, and then stopped forever.

My point is, a lot of this fashy or right wing stuff is one local weirdo. And if you pay attention, and do a little light organizing with your friends, you can basically make their efforts into a giant sisyphisean exercise in misery. You control your streets!

The final product!

This full piece took me 35 hours, over 6 days to complete. It turned out better than expected, and you can see the work I put into it. I am very happy with hour this turned out.

I will be working on other things after this, an hopefully open commissions for you all to have your own works from me.
