I think more people need to hear this JFC

Before i do head off to my november art hiatus, i’d like to leave these reminders to SOME people in the DHMIS fandom who didn’t seem to get the memo, this also applies to other characters who don’t have confirmed names in the series.

Disclaimer: It’s absolutely okay if you still use the popular fanmade names, i’m not saying that you should stop using them for your interpretations n whatnot. What i’m saying is; don’t get mad at people who use different fan names for their versions of the characters and don’t mandate them to use the popular ones because you thought those were the canonical ones despite them never being confirmed by the creators. People can and will always have different interpretations and headcanons of a certain thing, don’t be a jerk and force them to have the same as yours.

Oh my god I feel the exact same way I would absolutely die if anyone knew IRL found out about what I like and the stuff I've made. I love the fandoms to death but I hate the feeling of being judged.

I wasn't going to answer this, but I figured you guys deserve one.

I've tried to get back into DHMIS so many times. Although I love the original source material to death, it's the fan base I absolutely cannot stand.

I have met some great friends through that fandom, but I've also met people who really wrecked up any positive association I had left with the fandom.

That's not to say I'll delete the blog or whatever, but I might just stop. Maybe if I get another hyperfixation cycle I could do more in the future, but nothing long term. The blog really helped me get through the first two years of highschool, but it has since gone downhill.

I find the blog a little... embarrassing now?? Like. If some of my friends found out I run/ran a DHMIS ask blog I think I would legit pass away. I know cringe culture is dead or whatever, but it's still very deep within me. Cringe culture has left scars that may never heal.

I don't like thinking about it much anymore. I don't think it's in "trigger territory" just yet, but it still gives me not-so-good memories. Like I said, I'll still adore the original DHMIS series but I rather not participate in the fandom all that much anymore.

Sorry I haven’t been very active on this account, my life got super busy due to college stuff. 

However, since you guys apparently like my story telling, I figured you would like this.

Recently, I found out about a contest on Webtoons, and I’ve decided to join it! I know it’s not my typical content, but if you guys have the time, I would really appreciate if you took the time to read my entry, and possibly share it with other people. If a lot of folks look at it, it’ll help my chances on having the story be one of the few winners! It will only take a few minutes of your time.

Stay safe guys. Today I saw a failing begging for money. Me and my mom went home with our groceries and we came back to the family. I packed books that I definitely didnt need and old art supplied for the kids, I also packed food for them and my mom got them juices. The look on the kids faces really brought joy as we handed them what packed.

These are hard times.

My dog has also gotten injured a bit, but he's still trying to be the best boi he can be.

People have lost their jobs, and it's so bad. Doing something helpful for them really made all the money we spent matter. And we spent a lot.

God I always cry over the littlest of things.

I remember listening to MOTS and thinking, "wow this fits me and my friends. I wonder what would happen if I made it more like us." And this is what I have. I keep thinking, "There's gotta be a reason why were are all like this."

My friends and I were kind of violent. Physically I was the worst. Maybe verbally too. But we were toxic to each other. It's wrong to say, but that's how we clicked. That's how we worked.
