I added to my fundraiser a couple versions of my glitch art design with a white border, to look better on dark clothes. EVERYTHING I EARN is for my best friend, a Palestinian grad student living in America. The money is sent home to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.
Here are some product examples (also shown are older versions of this design in my shop with black or no border that are better for light colored clothing, stickers, etc.)
You can find these in my fundraiser shop HERE. To see a design on different products click on the display product and scroll down or go here to browse by design. Here is a sample of some of my other work:
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out! We really appreciate all the support and we hope you are enjoying your purchases.
Thank you so much to the anonymous customer from Dublin who bought this keffiyeh-wearing dove on a shirt yesterday!
ALL PROCEEDS from Palestine related sales through my Redbubble shop will go to my Palestinian best friend (the most amazing person I've ever known) to help him bring his girlfriend over to America. Any left over will be used to help his family/other loved ones affected by the war.
Design found here, all Palestine designs found here. Available on shirts, stickers, hats, notebooks, mugs, pins, etc. New designs being added pretty much daily.
I just added 3 more variants of this design to my fundraiser, here are all 4 displayed on stickers. The moon and stars are NASA public domain content, the sunsets are public domain works originally posted to Wikimedia Commons. These are available on a wide range of other products as well, such as shirts, pins, posters and notebooks:
As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from my designs are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
You can find my shop here. I have now set all my older designs not related to Palestine to private. Anything you see in the shop is part of the fundraiser. Redbubble will pick a popular product to display the art on, click on each to see more product options. You can also find all my designs here.
Here is a sample of some of my top sellers, shown on stickers:
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out so far!
Three hours to go until the ceasefire. I'm with my Palestinian friend at his lab, we're just working and waiting. I'm incredibly proud of the strength and composure he's shown in the face of this genocide, he's the most amazing person. Let's hope the ceasefire lasts, and the West Bank gets a reprieve soon too. Here's a poster I'm liking right now, with a reminder to feel free to print and use my stuff for anything so long as you are not profiting from it:
I want to thank everyone who has supported my fundraising shop. We received so much support, it's been so heartwarming! I really hope we get to spot some of my shirts, pins, etc at protests and rallies in the future. Even if the ceasefire holds this is far from over, we need to keep the pressure on!
I will continue to run this shop for the foreseeable future, there's so much damage to recover from in Gaza and Lebanon and the raids and economic restrictions in the West Bank are showing no signs of stopping. I would like to help him support his family as long as I can, and if that ever becomes less necessary I'll switch the shop income over to a relevant charity of his choice. For now, here is a selection of some of my popular designs:
You can find all of my work in my shop HERE. You can filter by product with the menu on the left side of the page or go here to browse by design.
Thank you again to everyone who has helped out! We really appreciate the support.
Did you know NASA makes their astrophotography open source? They're one of my favorite resources. Since I started fundraising for my Palestinian friend I haven't looked at using them as much, but I'm still trying to mix these beautiful photos into my designs occasionally. This James Webb photo shows the Wolf–Rayet star WR 124 and the nebula M1–67. The above design can be found HERE. Some examples (shirts, sticker, acrylic block, notebook and pin):
As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop go to my Palestinian best friend to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his other loved ones around the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.
It turns out that Redbubble collections cap out at 100 products, so I have temporarily removed my handful of products not related to Palestine and from now on I will dedicate my whole shop to this. My designs can be found here on my main page.
Here's one other astrophotography design I have in my collection:
Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far!
Another poppy design pieced together from open source resources, this time in a map of Palestine. As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my Palestinian best friend to help him take care of his loved ones affected by the violence and economic devastation in Gaza and the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. Anything he doesn't need for his immediate friends and family will be donated to charity, wherever he thinks it will make the most difference (he's heavily involved in activism and very knowledgeable about that sort of thing).
You can find the above design here. Here is a sample of a few of the products it is available on, I think it will make a good sticker in particular:

I filled the rose petals in this design with pictures of my keffiyeh. The scarf was a gift from the friend I am raising money for. He gave it to me in mid October, he was very upset at the time and I was trying to comfort him. He took it off and put it on me and insisted I keep it. It is now one of my most prized possessions and I try to incorporate it in a lot of my designs.
ALL PROCEEDS from this and all my other designs are for this friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids in the West Bank (this has unfortunately hit his family quite hard) and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with. He's heavily involved in activism and I trust him to put the money where it can make the most difference.
Here are some examples of this design (found here) on products:
You can find my full shop here, I have a lot of different designs in a bunch of different styles.
Here is a sample of some of the other designs I have (shown here on stickers, available on a lot of products):

Sorry if I have made a mistake, but isn't Al Aqsa mosque often used colloquially to refer to the entire mosque compound, including the Dome of the Rock? I know that it's not the prayer hall but I thought the name was regularly extended to everything within the compound.
From what I can find (can't really read Arabic though so looking more at English sources) it is often considered Zionist strategy to focus on the dome/downplay the rest of the compound, but most (though admittedly not all) Islamic sources I saw stress that the entire compound is still Al Aqsa, including the dome. Some were actually quite adamant that the dome, main prayer hall, other prayer halls and all other parts indoors and outside be included as part of the mosque so the occupation cannot as easily claim control of or destroy parts of it. I believe the Arabic language Wikipedia for example is taking that stance in defining المسجد الأقصى in the "اعتقادات خاطئة عن حدوده بسبب الاحتلال" section (will ask my fluent friends later to confirm though, I am still a beginner and very far from fluent).
I will add "compound" to the original post though, regardless of the Arabic nomenclature that definitely captures the meaning better in English, thank you for pointing it out. I unfortunately can't add it to the shop though because I've run up against Redbubble's 8 word title limit.
Three brushstroke overlay photos, two of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Dome of the Rock and one of the Palestinian flag.
For those who haven't seen my posts yet, my best friend (the nicest person I have EVER met, hands down) is Palestinian, and a lot of his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. ALL PROCEEDS from these designs will go first and foremost to helping his girlfriend afford to join him in America safely, and after that helping his other loved ones weather this war.
These designs are found in my collection here on stickers, shirts, mugs, etc, along with all of my other work. New stuff being added pretty much daily. The first two should be live now, the last is waiting for approval and will probably be up by tomorrow.
I'd also like to point out the three designs that have received the most attention on Redbubble so far:
Thank you to everyone who has helped out!
Another map design, found here.
As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my Palestinian best friend to help him support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out so far! My friend is very touched by the huge amount of support he has received. I hope you are all enjoying your purchases.
A new fundraiser design found here, particularly good for stickers:
As always ALL PROCEEDS from my shop are for my best friend who is Palestinian. The extra income will help him support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. Recently we've been trying to help a friend of his get out of Gaza to an Egyptian university to finish their studies, if we can obtain the necessary permissions for them. They're a brilliant student and they are hoping they can get a good job to support their family after school, but sadly there are no universities left in Gaza now. If that doesn't work out this month's money will probably just go to helping a few more friends/extended family purchase food. We're kinda figuring out who needs it most at a given time as we go.
Here is a sample of some of my other work, starting with a couple related designs (all are part of the fundraiser):

Finishing my dissertation so I've been super busy, fundraiser is still going though! Some designs (for shirts, stickers, mugs, pins, etc):
As always EVERYTHING I EARN from my shop is for my best friend, a Palestinian grad student living in America. The money is sent home to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank (it's gotten extremely bad there) and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.
You can find all of my work in my shop HERE. You can filter by product with the menu on the left side of the page or go here to browse by design. Here's a couple examples of designs printed on products:
The model for the gym shirt in photo 3 is the friend I am raising money for (cropped for privacy).
This is not end to grad school we imagined. I'm so proud of my friend for how he's handling everything though. Still doing his activism in the face of all the government threats, and still doing incredible research despite all the setbacks. He's the strongest person I've ever known.
Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out! The support means a lot to us, we hope you are enjoying your purchases.
Starving grad student running a small Redbubble shop (initially for side income, now for fundraising for my Palestinian friend). Made this blog to share my designs, found here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/fairiedance/shopMy best friend (an absolutely brilliant scientist and compassionate social activist, seriously the best person ever) is a Palestinian grad student studying in America, and a lot of his friends and family are being affected by the genocide in Gaza and the fallout in the West Bank and surrounding areas. I have started selling Palestine related designs in my shop. EVERYTHING I RAISE he sends to his loved ones to help in various ways as the situation progresses.Designs not related to Palestine have been removed from my shop for now (probably for good at this point).
